I've been eating at Seoul Haus for quite some time, but I felt compelled to write an updated review because my recent experience was honestly a major letdown. I noticed that the service has become absolutely terrible; the staff didn't even bother to bring out basic essentials like bowls or napkins, making it feel like the restaurant has pivoted to a self-serve model without actually telling anyone. I was also disappointed to see that the menu has changed significantly, and I found the portion sizes to be much smaller than they used to be despite the prices staying high. I'm not sure if the ownership changed recently or what happened behind the scenes, but I can definitely say the quality and experience have gone really downhill since the changes took effect. It's a shame because this used to be a favorite of mine, but after this visit, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

I was introduced to this casual Korean comfort food restaurant by my partner, who took me here for lunch one afternoon. This place specializes in traditional Korean soups and offers weekday lunch specials. They give a decent banchan variety. We had to get the seolleongtang, as it is one of their signature dishes. The seolleongtang had a rich, milky broth that tasted perfectly authentic. I enjoyed the flavors very much, but the portion size felt kind of small. Because it was a hot day, we also had to order the cold noodles. It had a savory, refreshing broth. The taste was nice and tangy. There is a spicy option, but I prefer the traditional version of cold noodles, which was a good contrast to the seolleongtang. Service could have probably been better. It was a bit slow, as there was only one employee working. Regardless, I definitely plan on revisiting for the good food, and particularly to try some other menu items I'm interested in.

Shout out to Yoon for the super attentive service! The food style is different compared to other Korean restaurants, but I actually liked it! Soondoobu could be spicier, but it's savory especially if you get the beef! Bulgogi was crispy on the outside and tender inside and banchan flavor is fresh and super flavorful.

Galbijim: 4.8/5. Beef is sooo tender, it comes with carrot, tteokbokki , rice noodle. You can add extra cheese on top. Seollungtang: 4.5/5. Light yet rich texture. Flavorful, it comes unseasoned but they give you salt, pepper and green onion for you to season to taste. Service is fast. Will return!

Chino Hills has an array of amazing Korean food and I think this one ranks pretty up there. We went during early dinner on Thursday and were sat right away. Service was friendly and fast! We got cold noodles, bulgogi hot pot (bibimbap), and galbi jjim (medium size). Everything we got was delicious. Cold noodles were perfectly chewy, bulgogi hot pot was full of flavor and textures, and the galbi jjim was so rich and flavorful with tender meat and rice cakes/rice noodles. We added cheese and that was the best decision. For a party of three, we actually devoured everything. If I'm being honest, the portions were not the biggest like other restaurants but the price was reasonable for it all.

A nice find since we were across the street at the shopping. Saw it when we were turning in and thought hey we should try this. It was what we needed on a unexpectedly warm day in February. Some cold noodles to cool us down. Love cold noodles and the delicious kimchi. They don't have alcohol but it is all good. It is easily spotted on the right before you turn into the shopping on the left. Lovely homey ambiance and staff was friendly! Plentiful parking and will definitely be back if we are in the area and craving some Korean food!

Found a super cozy Seoul-style Korean spot in Chino Hills, and I'm in love with the warm, comforting vibe! The moment you walk in, it feels welcoming and homey. The restaurant isn't very big, but it's beautifully decorated with wooden tables and warm yellow lighting. Hearing bits of Korean conversations around you really makes it feel like a small neighborhood restaurant in Seoul As soon as we sat down, they brought out hot barley tea--rich, soothing, and perfect for cutting through the richness of the food. Instant good impression! The banchan selection was amazing--7 different side dishes, all refillable for free. The kimchi was crisp and flavorful, the salad was light and refreshing, and everything paired perfectly with the meat. This kind of generosity really won me over Their combo meals are such a great deal--two dishes for $28-29, perfect for a work lunch. There are lots of options, and we ordered: * Cold noodles + spicy pork belly * Beef bone soup + grilled meat My personal favorites: * Spicy Braised Short Ribs: The ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, falling right off the bone. The cheese on top added a fun stretchy texture, and the spice level was just right--not overwhelming. The rice cakes soaked up all the sauce and were so satisfying. One order is definitely enough for two people! * Spicy Stir-Fried Octopus (Nakji Bokkeum): The octopus was fresh, bouncy, and nicely chewy, coated in a Korean sweet-and-spicy sauce with onions and seaweed. Super aromatic and addictive! Perfect with rice or wrapped in lettuce--so good. I just wish there was a bit more octopus. Overall, the menu is extensive, everything tastes authentic, and the prices are very reasonable. If you're in Chino Hills and craving Korean food, this cozy little spot is absolutely worth checking out!

Very saucy galbi jjim... a bit more saucy than I like. Rice cakes and the wide potato noodles inside were good. Soup was good and big portions and octopus also tasty but a bit salty for my taste. Good service. Casual space for family and friends

Was craving Korean this weekend for date night, and thanks to my fellow yelpers, this was the winner. Plenty of parking around since there are a bunch of restaurants nearby--no circling the block like a hungry shark. I made a Yelp reservation for 6:30 PM and was seated immediately after getting the "your table is ready" text. Honestly, I felt important. Like VIP but with sweatpants energy. Nice ambiance and enough tables to be seated in. First up: #20 - Marinated ribeye with veggies on rice in a hot pot ($19.99). I wasn't even planning on ordering this, but I kept seeing other tables with sizzling bowls and got jealous. It came with a good amount of ribeye, purple rice (my absolute favorite color AND carb), and a hot sauce you can mix in. Added that spicy kick I live for. Solid 8/10! Next: #29 - Braised spicy beef ribs, medium ($28.99). Since it was just my hubby and I, we went medium and got about six big ribs, some rice cakes, carrots, and surprise potato noodles. I wasn't expecting those noodles but they showed up like, "Hi, we're here too." Nice texture, good flavor. Now listen... Sun Nong Dan is still our gold standard for braised ribs, but also our wallet's worst enemy. This didn't beat it, but it tried--and I respect the effort. 7/10. Last dish: Seolleongtang + Bulgogi (Combo C) - $29.99. I blame Korean mukbang videos for this order. This milky beef broth soup was light, comforting, and customizable--add salt, pepper, green onions, live your truth. You can mix the rice in or eat it on the side like a responsible adult. Rated this a solid 8/10. Banchan game? Strong. Spicy seaweed, kimchi, spicy radish, fish cake, and more. Our server Jay came in clutch with refills because honestly, you can never have too much Korean side dish energy. Awesome server! Service was great, food was solid, and best part--no 30-minute wait. If you're in Chino Hills craving Korean and don't feel like aging in a waiting line, make a Yelp reservation and thank me later.

A great find in Chino Hills. The food is comforting yet well-executed -- especially the seafood pancake, which is packed with real ingredients, not just flour. The pork cutlet is perfectly crispy, and the beef soup is light, clean, and flavorful. Portions are generous, and the refillable banchan is a nice touch. Pricing is very fair for what you get. A solid spot for a casual, satisfying Korean meal.

So good! Their Seolleongtang is like a big warm hug. There is plenty of parking in the plaza and service was good. The banchan was good as well. I got their Seolleongtang with glass noodles instead of rice noodles- which they substituted for me with no problem. The soup came out quick and was so filling. You get to salt your own soup which I like. I was also surprised with how much protein they gave. You honestly can't go wrong here if you're craving some Korean soup and want something quick and simple.

A new Korean restaurant, Seoul Haus, has opened in Chino Hills. Although it is small, it is worth coming to for a tasty meal. I have been here a couple of times with a couple of different friends and everyone has enjoyed it. I have tried the chicken soup, been bone soup, and also the spicy beef one which is all enjoyable! Just depends on what flavor you want and spice level! But everything is worth a try and they have tasty sides as well their kimchi is so delicious! Also, the service has been super nice and friendly! You don't need to know Korean and the menu is in English! So come on in and enjoy some tasty soups.

Really liked this spot. The army stew was honestly one of the better ones I've had in LA. It came loaded with pork belly, bacon, spam, sausage, tofu, and ramen, and once you mix the sauce in well, the broth gets really rich and flavorful. We also got the LA galbi, which I liked because it was not overly sweet like some places. The meat had a nice char but was still tender. The spicy braised pork back ribs were also really good and kind of reminded me of Sunnongdan. We got medium spice, and it came with three huge bones with super tender meat that was basically falling off. We added cheese, which made it even better, and the rice cakes in the stew were soft and soaked up all the flavor. To balance everything out, we ordered the oxtail soup and cold noodles. The soup was more mild and comforting, with a rich milky broth and several big pieces of oxtail. The cold noodles were perfect for a hot day and had a nice chewy texture. Overall, everything was solid and I'd definitely come back.
