Celebrated our birthday at Holy Cow and it was a wonderful dining experience! The meat quality is so good, highly recommend Karubi, Signature Cut, Short Rib, Brisket, Thick Cut Beef Tongue, Salmon Carapaccio. From the Special dishes: Uni Nigiri, A5 Handroll, and Langostine Uni. Special Meats: Otoro, Short Rib, and Tongue were delicious

Holy cow!!! Honestly, this AYCE yakiniku spot is pretty reasonable , starting at $49with premium meat, sushi, and sashimi included! We chose the Supreme Tier ($59), which comes with even more luxury items like A5 wagyu and uni! This is a perfect addition to our Inland Empire community. $49起特選高質和牛 仲有壽司和刺身 各種特色小菜 全部任食 IG: socalhkfoodies

Still don't know what these are because the waitress dumped them on the table and walked away. We asked her but she didn't say..

I came here for an employee dinner and it was not a great experience. Plenty of parking in the lot, located in a small strip mall. They weren't very busy, maybe one other table, and we stood at the front for over 15 minutes waiting for someone to seat us. We sat down and waited another 20 minutes or so for menus. When the waitress came over she said only "ready?" And I told her we were still waiting for menus. She looked annoyed and finally brought 2 mes us for the 5 of us. Also, the place was practically empty but they crammed us into the smallest table and put a chair on the end and it was an....interesting choice knowing how much food comes out for Japanese BBQ. We asked the waitress how to order since it was our first time there and she said "pick one." I still don't know what that meant so I let someone else just "pick one." I'm still unclear on how to order at this place, although I've been to dozens of Japanese BBQ places and had great experiences. She was not helpful and I had to ask her 4 or 5 times for drinks. And each time we needed to order more food we had to get up and actually flag her or someone else down. (Did I mention there was only ONE other party of 2 at the restaurant at the time?!) I was pretty frustrated with the entire experience and didn't end up eating anything despite paying for the over $500 check for my team. We waited over 30 minutes for the check and I had to stand up for several minutes just looking for ANY employee to bring us our check so that we could leave. I do NOT recommend this spot, find literally any other Japanese BBQ spot, because they don't seem to actually want any business and it was an overall terrible (and expensive) experience. We were there on June 3 around 5:30PM.

If you've been to chubby cattle, this place is very comparable. The quality and cuts are the same and I highly recommend the spices on the table. Premium menu is legit and so worth it. This is definitely worth your money compared to chubby cattle. Plenty of parking and no wait on a Monday night. Service is super quick as well. It's more of a relaxed environment and less overstimulating than chubby but I think it would be hard to do a large party here considering they have really small tables.

My sister picked this place & I'm so glad she did. The food was so good. The meats were very tender & premium quality. There are three pricing tiers, I forgot to take a picture of the menu but it's definitely affordable for the quality of meats you get. The meats are perfectly marinated, didn't really need to dip it in any sauce. They have hand rolls on the menu and many other items. We were too hungry, so couldn't get many photos. The service wasn't the greatest on the day I went. I wish they were a little more attentive to us as they were not very busy. The restaurant is very clean and on the smaller side. Definitely recommend you to try it! It is so good!!

I was delighted to see that the renovation has beautifully enhanced the ambiance while maintaining the excellent qualities that have always made your place stand out. The food remains absolutely amazing, with the quality of your meats continuing to be fresh and top-notch. The service was impeccable as always, with Ken providing attentive and professional care. He truly knows how to take care of customers, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well looked after. For those visiting your establishment for the first time, I would highly recommend making a reservation to guarantee a smooth and pleasant experience.

A very satisfying meal with really premium meat! The sides are also great! Wagyu hand roll is yummy! The service was also great, and the server Ken is very attentive! Everyone is friendly and courteous, and it's a great dining experience!

I was invited to Holy Cow for a business meeting since it was a fair halfway point for the three of us to meet in this area. When I looked up the menu ahead of time, I was pretty excited at the wagyu selection. The plaza has many good dining spots and plenty of parking. I had a Yelp Reservation but it didn't seem needed at opening time. The restaurant was on the smaller side, but it didn't get to busy during our time there. I feel like they are a direct competitor to the chubby-brand but the chubby group is doing a better job with marketing and execution. Our waitress seemed to be the only front of house staff that we encountered. There was a language barrier. She was terrible at explaining the menu and she missed some of the items we ordered. It would have been confusing if I didn't already read some reviews on the business prior. So we decided on the Supreme Tier ($59/person) menu where we could each pick 1 special meat, and 1 special dish, and it's all you can eat of the rest of the meats. I can't recall the special meats we order because she didn't really tell us what was what, but I remember liking 2 out of 3. For the special dish I wanted the uni scallop carpaccio, but they were out. Instead we decided to get the langoustine sashimi with uni. That was pretty good. From the regular AYCE selection we did the M9s, the Signature Cut upon recommendation, short rib, beef tongue, tiger shrimp, zabuton. It was hard to reorder because we were trying to reorder the ones we liked. I told her it was the marbling one and she said it was signature cut, then she brought out something with NO MARBLING AT ALL. Sigh. I can say confidently that the zabuton was good cause we ordered that as an alone order for one round. From their sides their sesame tofu was one of the favorites and the pickled items like the cucumbers and kimchi were good reliefs to the meat heavy meal. My colleagues enjoyed the squid salad too. I also munched on some edamame. Not that any of these stand out but it was needed to offset the wagyu. I feel like this restaurant has potential but the waitress was not attentive, had poor communication, and missed some of our orders. At the end she kept insisting for us to write her a review for a free soda... not sure how many of these reviews are for that free soda... but pass... I don't need your free soda! I need my orders brought out correctly.

*Came to a birthday party celebration and had a 6pm dinner reservation *Fresh, excellent, and solid choice of wagyu meats. *Place is small and compact. We're a party of 7 and had to be split into 2 tables for each table seats only 4 ppl. Definitely not the place if you plan to dine together with a big group. *There are 3 different tier pricing and we had the Supreme mid tier priced at $59 pp. *Service was okay. I felt rushed when the server hands you all the meats to grill until your next order. *Personal favorite was the Langoustine Sashimi w/ Uni & fried oyster under Special Dishes. Too bad they only give you 1 piece pp.

TLDR - Good service, Good parking, Food is below average. This is a really small restaurant that serves ayce wagyu at a pretty fair price point. The only thing is, thats really all they do. theres not much to compliment your meal and with meat thats as fatty as this is, you just end up getting greened out and its just too much fat. There's nothing to cut through this fattiness so it ends up being too much. I will say the service is REALLY good, they're very attentive, the food comes out fast and its very homey. If you LOVE beef and know that the fattiness of the beef won't be an issue you'd probably love this place.

Very delicious and fresh. Very nice service and nice people. 環境也很好,油煙也不會很重,而且不用擔心衣服染油煙 Ken is super nice FOH supervisor!!!

This place is worth it especially if you only care about the price and quality. I say that because compared to other restaurants with similar concepts like Chubby Cattle, this place is less expensive but you don't get the luxury feel and ambience of a restaurant like Chubby Cattle. However, if you don't care about that Holy Cow is definitely a solid option. We chose their $59 Supreme Tier so that we could choose from their Special Dishes. Even their $49 Platinum Tier would be worth it considering they have good options in that menu as well. Their A5 Thick Cut Otoro under the Special Meats would definitely be my favorite cut out of everything we tried-perfectly tender and fatty. The M9 + Karubi, A5 Thick Cut Short Rib and Full Blood Wagyu Short Rib are also highly ranked for me but honestly you can't go wrong with any of their cuts. I tried 12 different meats and they were all pretty good. However, the one downside on their menu were their sushi items. I had higher expectations considering their meats were all pretty good so I definitely would not recommend coming here for sushi and mainly sticking to their meats. The service here is straightforward and really quick. Overall, I'd come back if I'm craving some wagyu!

Initially I was in the mood for some higher end Korean BBQ, but after some convincing from my friend, we decided on trying something new/different and I'm glad we did since I'm usually a little leary on trying something new. We went with the Supreme tier since the highest one didn't really seem like it offered anything worthwhile to us. The Supreme tier comes with 1 order *per person* for both the Special Meats (supposedly A5) and Special Dishes. Aside from the Special items that are limited, the rest of the menu is unlimited, including the sides. Without any proof of proper certification, I'm not entirely sure this is truly A5 BMS 8-12 wagyu, but regardless, it is incredibly marbled. Personally I cooked these pieces until parts of it began to sizzle and brown, allowing the fat to render. If you've never had it before, it is very rich and melts in your mouth. The good news is that the rest of the meat was still really good quality. In fact, the Wild Red Shrimp under the cheaper Platinum tier was actually much better than the Black Tiger Shrimp under the more costly Supreme tier. Honestly, the Black Tiger shrimp is kinda like your average run-of-the-mill shrimp from the market. I'm not a shrimpologist, but I want to say the "wild red shrimp" might be something like Ridgeback shrimps? Either way, the texture of the wild red shrimp was much better, in my opinion. I also really like the fact that the carpaccio (sashimi) was unlimited. I wouldn't consider myself a gymbro (ok maybe a little), but the fact that I can load up on grilled meat, sashimi, and veggie sides is awesome. Food experience aside, I was surprised by how small it was inside. It's all black too, so it looks and feels dark which is nice. Front of House service was fine, but the time it took for our items to come out was pretty slow, so tables don't turn very quickly which translates to long wait times, especially during peak hours like dinner or on the weekends. Speaking of dinner, maybe it's because I'm more of a dinner person, but I think next time around it'll be even more enjoyable during dinnertime. I will definitely be back in the near future, preferably after a gym sesh lol (ok I guess maybe I might be a gymbro)

Legit Korean spot in Chino Hills - finally!…read more Stopped in here after a long hike when my stomach started making executive decisions for me. Scrolled through maps and spotted a new Korean spot near The Shoppes - turns out it's a chain that finally made its way to Chino Hills. Say less. Walked in and the place was buzzing with Korean being spoken at every table. Sat down and immediately knew we were in good hands. Army Stew Saw it on the new menu and ordered without hesitation. When it hit the table, the pot was still bubbling away - piled high with tofu, sausage, spam, veggies, and ramen noodles. Gave it a stir and that savory, spicy aroma just hit you right in the face. Every spoonful was spicy in the best way - the kind that keeps you going back for more. The table next to us watched us devour it and literally flagged down the server to order the same thing. LA Galbi Another new addition. Came out sizzling on a hot plate, the short ribs charred perfectly on the edges - crispy outside, tender inside. Solid. Maeum Galbi Jjim This one was on just about every table. We got the M size with added cheese - pulled a piece of rib up and got that glorious cheese pull going on. The glass noodles underneath soaked up all that spicy sauce - slippery, savory, and absolutely slurp-worthy. The rice cakes were perfectly chewy too. Seoul Haus Dumpling Stuffed generously and juicy - bit into one and the broth came running out. Value Here's the real kicker. Normally at places like Sunnongdan, you're dropping at least $100 on a single order of braised short ribs - forget about it if you're not with a group. Here? The M size runs around $28.99 and easily feeds two. Plus the banchan (side dishes) are refillable. Parking Plaza parking is plentiful - no circling around like a lost soul. Bottom line: Great food, generous portions, and actually reasonable prices for what you're getting. This one's going into the regular rotation.
