    Mushrooms and salad

We DoorDashed pizza and appetizers, the pizza looked great but the crust was uncooked dough, huge disappointment. Fried mushrooms and poppers were decent.

I have been coming to Joey's on and off for years and I really have to say that their food is consistent! We have catered from here for large parties and it has always been very successful. Tonight, everything was really fantastic. Their meat strumboli was ridiculously delicious. It has always been good but I just didn't realize how much I missed it until tonight. It had the perfect ratio of cheese and meat wrapped with a very thin breading and tasty sauce to dip in. Their white pizza and New York Cheese pie was so on point. Ok, so their antipasto salad, made me laugh a bit . It had a generous amount of cold cuts (ham, salami cheese etc) but tomorrow it will be a left over sandwich very versatile in a good way. For me I find that this place is reasonable priced for the fantastic food that they offer.

Stay far, far away !!!one of the worse interactions I ever had with an owner of any business. I called up to order a bruschetta deep dish pie. I asked the girl on the phone how thick it is and she told me basically in-between a scicilian and regular pie. So I ordered it. I picked up the pie and when I got home it turned out to be a thin crust scicillian with barely any cheese on it. See pictures So I called back and spoke to the owner. He basically told me to go F myself. This is the way he makes it and he has been making it this way for 30 years. I tried to explain to him what the girl told me on the phone but he didn't want to hear it and called me a liar. I can forgive the pizza but not an owner who talks to his customers that way. $26 for aa pizza that is about as thick as cardboard, has very little cheese and was very bland. Save your money and go to John's of Arthur Ave in Milford instead.

Pretty basic review, pizza it's good. Service is okay. Inside could be more inviting.

The spot is quaint, unassuming. The pizza is tasty, but greasy. Service was quick and efficient. The kids that work here were friendly.

The slice selection was pretty standard - cheese, mushroom, sausage, pepper and onion, bbq chicken, chicken bacon ranch, Sicilian, etc. I got a mushroom slice and chicken bacon ranch. My husband got cheese and bbq chicken. The staff was welcoming and greeted everyone when they entered. While I waited for the slices to be heated up, I reviewed the menu. Also pretty standard and nothing really stood out to me as different, except for the many sizes of pizza you can order. The bar area was kind of cool, and there were some booth seats as well as a bistro room in the back. The undercarriage was a bit floppy even when reheated in the oven. Wasn't a huge fan of the mushroom slice, maybe it was the mushrooms but the sauce was nothing special. I liked the chicken bacon ranch better probably because it was smothered with bacon and ranch. My husband also thought his slices were just "ok" (we're used to NJ/NY metro pizza).

Long time customer. Great food. Cool casual themed. Not the first time experienced wait staff (sit…read morein table option) seemingly bothered to be there. Never said anything and always left a great tip regardless until yesterday. Went in as usual perused pizza counter like always before. Told counter servers sitting down which at that very point counter server says you may order here. Okay sure. Did. The place was empty at the time and woman behind bar was apparently the wait staff even took the order for drinks and handed them to me which then proceeded to sit down. within not a minute later she came to our table and said you could have ordered your drinks from table and I would bring them. She handed menus where she was informed we ordered at the counter. Questions led to answer that the counter server says can after offering to take the order. Wait staff had loud overheard words with counter server about situation which frankly despite being ignored evil eyed rude murmurs understood this Was about a tip. Check had to come from counter as again overheard loudly I don't care about this table or any tip. Wow! Need not be the case until one was made cut off nose spite face. Paid. Left. Felt at the point management should know service is big. Can make or break. Repeat referral. Call it misunderstanding. Miscommunication. Bottom line kindness and benefit of doubt would serve up well. Hope they get it together. You treat enough people this way not exactly any business right now can afford especially a simple fix of don't take out your beef on a customer who has beef of their own. It's just a slice of pizza to enjoy without BS drama.
