This was my first slice up north since leaving Long Island to move to Florida. It's was great. So much better than the crap served in Florida. We found this place accidentally. Good food and a great staff! We have never sat down to dine inside but we had frequently Place orders for pickup and whoever is behind the counter is always very nice and friendly. We love their food and my husband who is a Giant Pizza Lover orders a pie every time we order from there. And I also have to mention this past winter we had lost our cat and a lot of people pointed us towards Jimmy's Lakeside because of his love for animals I was told he frequently puts out leftovers for the cats that live around there outside. They also put up one of my flyers to help find my cat which was really sweet of them. The restaurant itself is really spacious and just down home comfortable. read more

I went back a few months after my disappointing first time and they improved their food from that previous moment. I'm always glad to be proven wrong in this regard. Whoever prepared the cheese ravoli this time had it cooked and heated throughout properly. I also ordered this balsamic salmon and that was pretty enjoyable. Jimmys lakeside pizza! Felt a little unsure of what to expect driving down winding roads 20 minutes off the highway. Walking into the small ordering room we were greeted by a kind women who took our order of a Large cheese pizza. While it did take a while, the frosted lake and naturesque views were excellent company to wait next to. We sat down with our pizza, piping hot. And we're in the company of another large party. Our server was attentive and helped to give us the best experience with sides of red pepper flakes and a generous amounts of ranch. The first thing our watering mouths were greeted with was a crispy crunch and an oowy gooey 8 inch string of hot mozzarella cheese. We devoured the lot! Very impressed by the crust and freshness. On our way out we saw two youthful deer galloping signaling upcoming luck and a for sure return visit. Visiting this area while on vacation. I grew up in New Jersey and consider myself a "pizza snob". After moving to rural Nevada, I crave good pizza. Jimmy's was outstanding! Can't talk about all the dishes on the menu but if their anything like their pizza I'll be impressed. The pizza in this area is not the best jimmy's reminded me of how real good pizza should taste. i used to live in the area so i know it well, i needed to use the bathroom and be on my way so i stopped here quickly. when asking for the bathroom, i got up and down looks and was told my friend couldn't be in there with me. she came in and i was in the bathroom for not even 30 seconds before the owner comes banging and screaming on the door about having someone in there and demanding i open regardless of the fact that i was actively using the restroom. she proceeded to continue on yelling at us and threatening to call security even though i was finishing up and my friend was already out. as the owner, i feel it's so unprofessional to have acted that way, on top of that she was yelling we never come back. even if i was going to eat at this place, the food on the rack looked cold and old and i was turned off by the BLATANT homophobia on all parts. read more
