    Extra spicy onion kulcha cchole

Very bad food .. we ordered masala onion kulcha. Taste was too bad. Quantity is also very less

Tried this place for Chaat and it was perfect! We got their Samosa Chaat and it was made really well. Perfectly spiced samosa, topped with Chole and chutneys, this was a super hit. On weekends they tend to get super busy and the wait time is pretty insane but as long as you order and hop on to another food truck around, you should be able to get your meal while you enjoy a snack. Part of the many food trucks around that area, Jonah does have amazing Chole. So anything with Chole is a great order. They do have a super long menu and will have to go back more often to try them all. They also have Kulfi that I saw a lot of folks enjoying. Will try that next time.

Malai Kulfi was rich and appropriately sweet (not too sweet). Have tried their kulcha chhole which are great. Service is quick. If you don't hv cash, they charge $1 for transactions below $10. Parking is limited especially during evening and weekends.

Disappointed with the taste. However, the service was super quick - so quick that it actually made me a bit skeptical about the freshness of the food. I understand most of the food is usually pre-prepared, but isn't there a concept of like fresh tadka just before the order or warm it up a bit etc.? It's a food truck - hence was not expecting much in the way of service, but was looking forward to some authentic, dhabba style, delicious Punjabi food. We only ordered chole kulcha and the taste was completely below average. I hate giving low ratings to small, upcoming businesses, but can't help it here. I hope they read this message and up their game...need more flavors and freshness in the food please! Did carry out and forgot to take pictures of the food. Will follow business on Yelp and plan to revisit only if I see improvements in ratings.

Deliciousness heaven especially if you are a fan of Amritsari Kulcha n Cholay!!! Tried super Vada Pav which adds to overall deliciousness n experience. The service as usual is exceptional for a Food Truck. One of my favorites in the South Bay.

My cousins always raved about their vadapav (we live in Raleigh) so when we visited San Jose, we had to try it ! And it lived up to the hype!! We also tried their sev puri and ras malai.. I may fly back to SJ just for the Rasmalai ! Sooo good.. Food gets 5 stars.. but overall 3 stars because I called ahead and ordered since they supposedly already atleast 20 mins to prepare, I stood in line for atleast 10 mins to ask for my order, the guy asked for my name and then got onto a phone call for 10 mins(we were freezing in the cold) and when I asked again he just picked up the bag and gave it (it was ready and next to him but he made us wait) and everything was cold by the time we took a bite (which was immediately in the car)

Pani puri - bland and mediocre Dahi puri - All I tasted was dahi and sev. There was nothing else in it. There may be other items that are better here but I would not return for chaat. The service was good and prices were also reasonable

You can eat food sitting in the trunk of your car, which is an incredible experience!

Great spot for Amritsari kulcha (fluffy soft wheat bread filled with onions/potatoes/spices) and chana (garbanzo beans curry)! I especially love their *extremely spicy* onion kulcha! It is dark red on the inside because of all the spices and I loved it! We've also tried their shahi paneer, vada pav and pani puri - all of them were flavorful and we enjoyed each of these dishes! It is a food truck and there's no place to sit nearby so some people sit in the trunks of their parked cars eating food! It's an incredible experience. I'm not a fan of their lemonade, I thought it'll be freshly made but it was bottled lemonade served in plastic glasses. The staff there seems to be a family and are all respectful older men, who are very kind and always helpful! Overall, the food has an authentic flavor and I would visit them again in a heartbeat!

We parked on this street for almost an hour sampling food from the various food trucks. Sampled the Amritsari chole kulche from here and realized why everyone was making a beeline for this truck. The dish was seriously very good for something made in a food truck. The kulcha had good flavors and was good enough to be eaten by itself. The pickles served on the side kicked it up a few notches as well. Overall, impressed!

Came here for lunch with a friend who knows this truck. We ordered the Lamb Curry with Naan. The Lamb wasn't gamy and was very tender. The sauce was savory with a little spice for flavor enhancement. The Naan was huge and good. Will be back for other tasty options. Tip: it's located next to the Chevron gas station.

Goat curry, rice and chaas = BLISS!

Amazing Indian street food! The choley and spicy kulche really hit the spot for me. BUT I couldn't have left out the goat curry. Had it with naan and rice and the goat was amazingly tender. It reminded me of food from Delhi!! On a cold day, this was the food that put us thru undergrad and the whole experience was just a so nostalgic. I would specially want to give a shout out to the staff. Keeping everything moving and customers happy is a delicate balance and they did it with such ease! Keep up the good work!

    Cholay, ok. $10

With disappointing food from neighboring food truck, I am very lucky I found. Johal! We ordered: 1. Dahi papdi chaat $5 5/5 but portion is so small! Barely half of a small box. Yummy 2. Cholay 3/5 crispy! Sauce is just ok. 3. Paneer wrap 4.5/5 If the wrap is more crispy it will be perfect! Food takes a while to make! No free chai like other other food truck but food is so much more satisfying. Will come again!

The food was fine. It's the standard taste which is available throughout bay area. No special taste.

We had dinner here for the very first time, this evening…read more They are located in downtown Sunnyvale on Murphy St. There is a parking garage a few blocks up and an open parking lot right by Murphy Street. When we arrived, the place was empty, but it began to fill up after we were seated. A kind young man showed us to a table and brought us menus and some water. It's beautiful inside. It's a long and narrow space and they have plenty of seating options for small and large groups. The chairs are covered in soft colorful velvet. They were very comfortable to sit in. There is a beautiful painting of a young woman wearing traditional clothing. There is a full bar with seating at the counter. The chandeliers are gorgeous and I loved the colorful umbrellas hanging upside down from the ceiling. Our waiter, Shreeshant, was beyond friendly. He was so kind and attentive to our needs. He gave us some recommendations for appetizers, which I really appreciated. We ordered the Chicken Tandoori Momo's (6 per order), per his recommendation. We also ordered the veggie samosas (2 per order). For our mains we ordered the Dum Biryani with shrimp, chicken korma, eggplant curry and butter naan. I really loved that you can customize your heat level with all the main dishes. We ordered all our dishes mild spice. First to come out was the Chicken Tandoori Momos and the veggie samosa. The momos came out sizzling on a cast iron skillet with onions and peppers underneath them. These came with a mild sauce to accompany them. The samosas came with three different sauces. The sauces were tamarind, mint and a spicy sauce. My favorite was the chicken momos. They were so flavorful from the inside to the outside. They have a tandoori flavor on the exterior and the sauce that it came with paired well with it. The samosas were also very good. I liked the mint sauce best, with the samosas. My husband liked the spicy sauce. I would definitely order both of these again. Next our main dishes came out. They also gave us some plain basmati rice with our food. The dum biryani with shrimp was so good. It's a very large portion. The shrimp were delicious. The chicken korma was creamy and rich from the pureed cashews. It went great with the naan. The eggplant curry was the most mild out of all the dishes. There were three cooked baby eggplants in a coconut curry sauce. I would say the sauce had more of a coconut flavor that stood out. It was good. The naan went well with everything really. We couldn't finish all that we ordered. We were given takeout boxes for our leftovers. We will be eating very good again with these leftovers. I really love their menu here. It's extensive with many different offerings. A big thank you to the staff for their excellent hospitality. We look forward to returning for more meals.

The lollipops were half cooked, cold to touch, chilled inside with weird sauce dripping all over. We left the meal midway. wouldnt go there again.
