Short wait time (to get a table & the food), however the table was only cleaned after we sat down. Paratha was good (maybe a little bit crispier than I thought it would be), and I also thought there would be yogurt with it. I liked the pickle that came with it though.

It's more like a take out spot. Raj Kachori was major disappointment. But dal kachori and Jalebi were super hit.

    Chole Bhature and Dahi Bhalla

Lived in Delhi for 2 years and this is THE best, most authentic Chole Bhature that reminds me of good old Nathu's! The dahi bhalla and other chaat is great too. It's fairly quick-service and very casual. If you want a little more sanity when it's crowded, opt to sit in their adjoined restaurant space which is almost always empty (that side has a buffet not worth sneezing at). Come here for the Chole Bhature - 'nuff said!

Hands down the best Jalebis in town. Hot, crisp, perfectly sweet. The second best dish is their dal kachori. They also seem to be good with chole bhatore. We didn't try but high selling. Their masala chai is also decent. We also tried the dhokla but that was meh. This is a quick eat-and-go kind of restaurant. Don't come looking for ambience. Service times can get a tad long but not a biggie. Overall, a great spot to satiate some bikaneri cravings on a rainy day.

I called them to place a takeout order, and they said they don't take phone orders and to order online. I placed the order through their website, made payment, and got confirmation. However, upon arriving at the store, the staff had no information about my order. After trying to figure it out for some time, they finally called someone else from inside who was able to find my order in their system and then went about preparing it. I had to wait another 15 minutes for the food to be ready. Ordering and picking up are extremely chaotic here. The food was mediocre. I ordered poori aloo. The curry was floating in oil. Needless to say, I won't be coming back here again.

Not the real Bikanerwala. Very unclean restaurant. We had chole batoora. It did not taste as good as those in Bikanerwala

It is supposed to be enough for three adults and contain 16 oz of 5 items (chicken soup, Kongunadu chicken gravy, rasam, spinach kootu, chicken 65), 8 oz of curd and vetrilai payasam, and 32 oz of white rice (8 items total). What we got was 16 oz of chicken gravy, chicken 65, 32 oz of rice with 6 basic baked chicken drumsticks, the curd and vetrilai payasam, and three hard-boiled eggs (wtf!). So six out of eight advertised dishes. And one was just eggs--they take like five minutes to make at home!!! It is hard to compare value since there were chicken drumsticks in the rice but we did not receive two entire dishes in "payment" of the drumsticks. And, ironically, we'd specifically picked this option because it was chilly and we wanted chicken soup, which ended up not being included. So...basically either false advertising or confusion at the restaurant about what is posted online. Either way, we were disappointed.

I think I found my new favorite vegan pizza spot!…read more I love the variety of traditional and Indian-inspired options. They have 10 vegan pizzas on the menu, so there are lots to choose from. Plus, you can pick your size from personal to jumbo, which is awesome because some places only offer large for vegans, and I just can't finish that much pizza. I wanted to try both a traditional and an Indian-style pizza, so luckily I had someone to share with today. I ordered a small Vegan Combo and a small Vegan Aloo Gobi on their site for pickup. I also picked up some potato wedges and a personal-sized Confused Desi (pictured but not reviewed since it was not for me). The person at the front was super friendly and engaging, I love service with a smile! My order was piping hot and ready to go; you could see the steam coming out of the box. The pizzas were loaded with toppings, and you can tell everything is fresh. I didn't add vegan cheese because I'm usually not a fan of any vegan cheeses, especially when melted. However, I don't think either pizza needed it; they were delicious! The sausage crumble on the Combo was tasty, but honestly, I think the bell peppers are my favorite part; they bring the perfect flavor and texture to the pizza. The Aloo Gobi was also really good. The sauce was rich and delicious, and the cauliflower had just the right amount of bite, which I love for texture. Plus, it had a nice kick of spice, which I'm all about.
