"I wanted to become a dentist since I was in the 9th grade because I really liked science and enjoyed working with my hands. In fact, I took advanced courses in drawing, painting and claywork while in junior high school in order to improve my artistic abilities. After earning my undergraduate degree at Albion College, I went on to earn my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. When I first started practicing in 1988, I made continuing education one of the cornerstones of my practice philosophy. "I find my job to be very rewarding because I am able to help people's smiles and their self-confidence. I do this by offering comprehensive dental care, including cosmetic and restorative dentistry, orthodontics and nonsurgical periodontal care. My ultimate goal is to give you a beautiful, healthy smile that is unforgettable. One that catches the eye of people passing by. One that is white and bright but looks completely natural.
