I would like to thank the staff at John Elway Harley notably Jesse Ryan for his great attitude in dealing with the disappointment of parts not coming in, well my disappointment lol of parts not coming in. This has been going on from the first day I got my Road Glide in 2021 with back ordered parts and months of weighting. I understand it is a global problem but the attune of the people I have worked with helps out tremendously Philip in parts Alex and Jesse helping me to pick parts for my stage 4 motor up grade (on back order) Philip in parts and Dylann. I truly hope all the staff at JohnElway HarleyDavidson in Greeley read this review. The service department starting with the service manager Jesse and his lack of integrity and leadership is evident in the sub par techs that he hires to work on our bikes. Returning my bike every time I had service done incomplete, parts missing, lying to me as to what was done, what parts were installed. I bought my bike, 2014 Breakout at Greeley Harley and have one bad encounter with the service department culminating with being bullied, lied to, harassed, prolonged my bike being in service because they are bolt on techs who don't listen or communicate with the owner who may have some insight. Cody at the service counter might benefit from a round miss manners school for boys ! The general management on down should all sell any bike they have and go do something else as they are not serving the community of Greeley. read more

Already left an online requested review but needed to follow up. Frankly I was far more upset with them than any customer should be. It is already bad enough that things didn't go so well but the attitude of a couple of the staff were disgusting and I felt disrespected. In all of my 50 years of riding Harley's, this was by far the most upsetting experience. If you are like me and know what you are talking about, they will ignore you. If you see that something is very obviously wrong and tell them about it, they will ignore you. If something is important to you, it will not be to them. They released a rental bike to me that was unsafe. When I went to get my bike after a week it was brought out to me with a completely dead battery... I had to leave the bike overnight to charge. This caused me to radically change my plan for the 800+ mile ride home. They had my bike for a week and it sat there for a day and a half after the repair was done prior to my arrival... they never thought to make sure it was ready to go for me.... inexcusable. No value added thinking there either. The bike was filthy when I had it towed in and it was filthy when it was returned to me. Not exactly what you would expect when you are spending over $3000 at a dealer and they have plenty of time to impress you... Harley Davidson.. The Roll Royce of motorcycles and they treat you like it is a used car dealer. The actual repair was well done, so thanks for that. Maybe they are good at sales and the rental lady was quite nice and accommodating but if you need repair service... go somewhere else. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to ANY place but here. Especially if you are looking for a custom bike build. The GM, Ryan, is deplorable to work with. He will bold-face lie to you about completion dates and price package. If this isn't enough, he will string you along for YEARS, yes YEARS, until completion. Once you can finally pick it up and the budget is beyond what you have agreed upon, the bike is NOT DONE, even though you have paid every penny. Which leads me to my next point.. Great service for a stranded traveler. I was on a road trip and needed a new tire unexpectedly. We called Greeley H-D, and they had the right size tire in stock, so AAA towed me there. They got me in right away. Also my bike had some other issues related to the trailer hitch. The mechanic did a great job of fixing that all up. Wayne, the service writer, was great to work with, kept me informed at all times, and charged me fair prices. I was on the road quickly and my trip was barely disrupted. They did not take advantage of my situation. I would highly recommend the service department here. Thank you, Greeley H-D! read more

Voted "Friendliest Harley Dealer in Colorado " for a reason! Every time I walk in I get smiles and hellos from everyone. I never have to wait at parts, service or the clothing counter to be acknowledged with a smile. Maybe I do have to wait, but since everyone there is happy, customers and employees alike, it doesnt seem like I'm waiting, but merely next in line for great service! Jesse in the service department is always smiling and makes sure my bike is seen quickly and that everything is clear and understood before any work is done. read more

We had flown into town for a local motorcycle conference and decided to rent two motorcycles for the week of the conference. We had checked out the three local HD dealers to see which one might have the least expensive rentals for the week. Greeley HD claimed to be the least expensive. We arrived and picked up the bikes. It took approximately 45 minutes to do so. The bikes operated well and they were fun to have on the local road & scenery. Upon returning the bikes you are required to top of the gas tanks. It was raining and I had on a pair of Frogg Togg rain paints. While pumping gas thr leg of the rain pants brushed up against the hot exhaust pipe and melted to the heat shield. We drove to the dealership approximately 1 mile away. Upon checking in the bikes I was informed of the "damage" to the bike. I was informed that the bike needed to be taken into the service area and the severity of the damage inspected. We waited approximately 20 minutes and was informed that the heat shield of the exhaust pipe was permanently damaged and would need to be replaced at $350.00. At no time was the "damaged" area attempted to be repaired....by using some "Mothers" to see if the area could be cleaned, etc. It was automatically stated that the heat shield was going to be replaced and what the cost was going to be. The fact that they never attempted to try to see if the burned material could be removed shows a lack of customer care. My issue is that they never attempted to see if the area could be cleaned. Instead they immediately went for the almighty dollar. This kind of customer service would guarantee my lack of return business. read more

I have been a customer for the past ten years, and recently stopped by while on a ride. I have always had great support from sales, service, parts, and customer service at Greeley HD; however, during the last couple weeks...they outdid themselves. I want to specifically thank Phil in parts for over-the-top, awesome service in taking the time to put together a custom wheel/tire package for my Street Glide Special just in time for Sturgis. Not only did he take great care of me in the store, but he went way out of his way to help deliver my OEM takeoffs to me. I challenge anybody to find customer service of this caliber in this day and age. Hats off to you, Phil, and Greeley HD! read more

Sneaky Business Practice: Bought a used bike 45 days ago. The initial experience was fantastic. Financed through my own bank. The deal was 7K out the door. Now I'm finding out that they didn't include $227 in city and county taxes in the supposed out the door total and are saying I'm responsible for paying that. It's a shame to lose a customer over $227 who until this point planned on referring this dealership to a few friends. This is sneaky business as they made no mention that I may have to pay additional taxes and I won't be returning here for a purchase again unless this is corrected. Update: The dealership replied to my review on their facebook page and owned nothing. I let them know if they make it right I will remove all negative reviews and replace them with positive. read more
