So mad it's not even funny! They wait till after dentist sees me to tell me my insurance doesn't…read morecover visit unless it's medical. The dentist didn't do anything but talk to me as I was there only to order a new partial as I lost mine. They made me pay$100 just to talk to dentist and didn't tell me my insurance didn't cover it until after the fact! Wanna bet I am reporting them not only to my bank but to the dental association! If I could give negative stars I would!!!

I f*#king hate the dentist guys. Like no BS. I have avoided the dentist for way too long and now…read moreI'm paying for it. Whomp whomp, welcome to adulthood self. Dr. G, the receptionist Sharell, and the other staff make me feel so welcome and taken care of!!! I found them during a dental emergency and they took me as soon as they opened! Same day. I was so relieved because the pain I was in, my funeral was being planned in my head. :( Dr.G went over my X rays with me in a way that I could understand and answered my questions without making me feel like an imbecile. Sharell walked me through my treatment plan, my insurance coverage and my out of pocket cost. She even arranged something's around based on priority and prices to work with in my budget frame. Even the office is so cute and welcoming! I think it's so awesome that while I wait and am getting work done I can watch a movie on a mounted tv to bide my time. Im glad I found a dentist home that I don't hate going to! I think I'll stay awhile. I still hate the dentist office, but when you find somewhere comfy it takes the edge off.

I am posting this because after reading other low reviews for Smile Obsession locations, I see that…read moremy experience was not isolated. Other patients have complained about appointments not being handled properly, concerns not being addressed, rushed cleanings, long waits, staff being unfriendly, billing concerns, cavities not being filled right, poor denture work, uneven dentures, and the list goes on. They also said cavities were not filled right. People were told to keep coming back because it was the end of the year and to use all the money. There were complaints about poor denture work, uneven dentures, and the list goes on. My situation is even worse because I was kicked out from returning after I complained and left honest reviews about my experience. I checked, and all my reviews -- the ones I made before -- were positive until now. I had actually praised Dr. Carson because I did like him and felt he helped me, but that does not erase the problems I experienced with the office. I gave this place several chances. I had appointments where I showed up and was told I did not have an appointment, even though I had screenshots proving I did. That wasted my time, my transportation, and my energy. I also have serious health issues, including heart failure, high blood pressure, back problems, and difficulty walking. During one visit, after dental work, my blood pressure was extremely high, I could barely stand or walk, and instead of showing real concern, I felt rushed out. I also had concerns about my dental work, including my bridge not feeling right and not looking even. Other people are now complaining about poor dental work too, including fillings, dentures, uneven dental work, and dentures or bridges not being measured correctly. They can contact Google review staff and have bad reviews deleted or hidden, while only showing mostly positive reviews, so keep that in mind when you go. They triple charge you for denture work and do not measure your teeth correctly, so your dentures or bridges may be messed up. Never trust Google reviews alone because businesses can pay to have reviews deleted or hidden and only show positive reviews. Click "lowest reviews" and read what other patients are saying before you go. I was still willing to give them a chance, but after I complained by email, contacted leadership, and posted honest reviews, I was told I could no longer come back. That feels like retaliation against a patient for speaking up. Looking at the other reviews, I see a pattern: patients saying their main reason for the visit was not addressed, cleanings felt rushed, waits were long, dental work was not done properly, billing was questionable, cavities were not filled right, dentures were uneven, and the office changed after Smile Obsession took over. Patients have a right to tell the truth about their own experience without being punished, screamed at, embarrassed, or kicked out. This review is based on my personal experience and the pattern I see from other patients' public reviews. I would tell anyone considering this office to read the lowest reviews first, not just the positive ones. People deserve to know how patients are treated when something goes wrong.

The office manager "Jacqueline" (not even sure if she was actually the manager) and the front desk…read morestaff were very rude. The confirmation system is the main issue: if you don't confirm within their text window (for context; I was already having phone issues and not receiving some texts a few weeks ago) then you get a follow-up message giving you only one hour before your appointment is canceled. That's unrealistic for people who work and can't always get to their phone right away. I called back during my lunch break three minutes after the cancellation text came in and was told my appointment had already been given away. In three minutes? That doesn't make sense. Then suddenly I was told I could have my appointment back after I complained. How can it be given away and then magically available again? Either I was misled, or the scheduling process is completely disorganized. On top of that, the communication was unprofessional. Being told "that was my bad" & with an attitude the whole time we spoke by someone in management is unacceptable in a medical office. It's disappointing because the dentist themselves is great, but the front office experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I strongly suggest better training in professional communication or hiring staff who understand how to speak to patients respectfully.
