I appreciate the direct and frank way Dr. Lesser and I can speak to one another. Sometimes in a very humorous, epitaph-filled way. He and his staff really listen to me, don't rush me, and make it as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. He's older like me so he "gets" a guy. But, I took my fiancee to see him and they hit it off too. Seriously, how many couples do that and afterwards feel like it was fun? While he is my doctor, I feel like he's a friend and trusted confidant. He doesn't judge and doesn't force. That's the kind of doctor for me.

If you like fast appointments then this is not the right practice for you. I was able to sit and chat with the doctor about my son for an hour and a half, and get into detail about his health history. I have never felt more heard, as a parent. I am happy to know that my child's doctor actually cares about his well-being, and doesn't see him as a statistic, like the practice that we switched from. This is a small (1 doctor) practice, and Doctor Fasehun and Samia are the best! We really appreciate their care! Definitely don't let the little new patient interview process deter you, because this is the definition of good medical care in my opinion!

You just lost 2 patients over $50.

I brought my child in on a Tuesday for a regular visit; I also brought in a diaper due to a reddish hue in his urine; it appeared almost bloody. My husband and I expressed our concerns about this to Dr Schwarz and she brushed it off, assumingly because we're "paranoid first parents" hardly even looking at the diaper. Long story short, we ended up in th ER early Wednesday morning; our child had Hemmorhagic Disease. With blood in his urine... Our child almost died. 7 days and $127,000 later, he's a healthy baby boy. Had this doctor not brushed off our concerns maybe we could have skipped the ER visit; or at least the near death aspect of the visit.

Because of that, we were especially disappointed by the way we were treated. We recently received a call informing us that our insurance was no longer accepted, even though we are in the middle of the year. To better understand the situation, we did a three-way call with BlueCross Blue Shield and a representative from Sander's. Unfortunately, the Sander's representative, Jennifer, was extremely rude throughout the conversation - not only to us, but also to the BlueCross representative. She repeatedly interrupted us while we were trying to ask questions and, numerous times during the call, announced that she was "leaving the call" even though we were still trying to understand what was happening and had unanswered questions. It felt like she was more interested in ending the conversation than helping us. To make matters even more unprofessional, she answered another phone call while she was still on the line with us. We could hear her entire conversation, making it obvious that she was no longer listening to us or focused on resolving our concerns. We were honestly shocked by how dismissive and unprofessional the entire interaction was. We completely understand that insurance contracts and coverage can change. What is not acceptable is treating patients with disrespect when they are simply trying to understand their options for their children. Families deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect, and unfortunately that was completely lacking in our experience. Based on this experience, we would absolutely not recommend Sander's Court Pediatrics to any family looking for a pediatric practice that values its patients.

We have been going there for 5 years now with my 3 girls (10, 8, & 5) and we are so happy with our care. The girls see Dr Breen regularly and she has gone above and beyond to help me deal with lots of surprising medical issues my children have had in the past 5 years. She took the time to talk with me and help guide me when some of my older daughters' specialists didn't agree on the route of care. And she is so knowledgeable, when I am in with one of my girls if I need to ask about the others, she remembers everything and can easily keep up with me when I am switching from kid to kid, which is very impressive. When we go in for sick visits, all of the doctors are very helpful and easy to work with! They always listen and have also helped from the sick visits with recommendations for my kids overall care. We also have an HMO so I work very closely with Jennifer, the referral coordinator, who is beyond amazing! She responds quickly and is always very helpful. With my 3 kids at some points, we were seeing up to 10 specialists, and Jennifer got me the referrals I needed quickly and has also gone above and beyond just being an amazing supportive person to work with and helping a mom navigate all these appts, tests, procedures, etc that her kids have needed!

After going there and recommending them for MANY years and to MANY friends and family, I was told VIA VOICEMAIL that I am no longer allowed at this practice with my children. When calling for records to be released to see another ped, they refuse to answer phones and put you on hold for a long amount of time RUN FAR FROM THIS PRACTICE!!!!!!!!
