This triggered an argument where: - The second employee started screaming at the first one in another language. - The employee working on my watch spent five minutes lecturing me to "pay attention and learn," asked if I had a wife out of nowhere, called me "ungrateful", and then told me that he should have listened to the other employee and "taken my money". - As I left, they screamed at me to come back, accusing me of not paying - only to realize they had miscommunicated once I walked back inside. I am now out $35 and left with one watch that is too big, one that doesn't work, and a third that I didn't even want handled. Avoid this place at all costs.

When I called to inform the store of my problem, I was told to bring my watch back for additional repair by the same "expert" who had failed to do the job originally. Then he hung up on me, having charged me for a service he didn't supply. A family member, who had been a customer of Alberto's for years, was present during this interaction. Today she no longer does business with Alberto's. Nor does anyone else in our family. The 2nd mistake I made was not calling my credit card company to stop payment on the repair charge. Moreover, if you want to purchase jewelry from this establishment, I'd take a jeweler's glass along to examine the merchandise. And even then I wouldn't buy it. Finally, anyone needing a Movado repair should go to the authorized Movado Repair Center at Willowbrook Mall in N.J. The Repair Center stocks all the original parts for Movado watches and offers two-year warranties on parts and service. Ask for Dashan, an honest and expert repairman -- one of the good guys!

If you know Citizen watches, you know they are not the average "wind and go" watches. When I went in to retrieve it, the time was not set, the date was wrong, and more importantly the reference position of all the hands was not correct needing a lengthy and complex 11-step calibration after bringing it home. After paying $240, you'd think they would have made sure it was set to perfection.
