I am very upset I went to Yelp after my experience with this thief of a dentist. I knew I needed…read moresome extensive work so went to her because she was in my network and I needed a primary dentist in network to make referrals to specialists in network. When I went to her she told me she would be able to do work that non of the the dental professionals I saw said were possible. When I started to question her, she immediately said they were wrong and even the cleaning that my regular dentist did was poor and she had to redo it. Meanwhile the cleaning was done less than a month ago. After her convincing me to see her 3 days in a row and billing me 2k, she sent me to a periodontist at her Midland Park office. The Perio looked at me for less than 1 minute and said what she was trying to do was impossible. When I told him how much money I paid for what she did, he even said I should be looking for a refund. When I went the following day to her office, I waited in the lobby for 40 minutes while she was with a patient. All I wanted to do was discuss why she did what she did. Why she billed me what she did. Instead of speaking to me she called the cops and had me removed. I never talked to her let alone raised my voice to her. In addition she convinced me to take out a supplemental insurance. Her front desk employee was not there the first two days I was there. When she ran my CC I asked about what insurance covered and what the supplemental insurance was going to cover, she said nothing. I don't know why you purchased the secondary insurance. She is unprofessional, condescending and in my opinion only looking to take as much money from you as she can. Both offices are a disaster with equipment and loose papers and files everywhere. No one should ever see her. I don't know how the dental board allows her to practice as all the complaints on this sight are all the same.

She is not a dentist, she is a monster. She charged me for a service I didn't ask for. She didn't…read moreeven discuss what she would do beforehand. The bill was $675!! I would rate her 0 if I could.

I had a very disturbing experience at The Smile Spa of North Jersey LLC with Dr. Debra Rosenblatt…read more I was referred only for gum treatment. However, I was charged $680 for teeth whitening, which was not clearly explained or requested as my primary concern. Later, a root canal was performed, but another dental clinic confirmed through X-rays that the work was incomplete and improperly done. Unfortunately, my tooth had to be extracted as a result. Additionally, multiple insurance claims were submitted under Dr. Peter Tsambazis, a dentist I never personally met. Payments were requested using printed "co-pay" amounts before full explanations were given. My insurance later denied several of these claims due to billing issues. This experience caused me permanent tooth loss, financial burden, and severe stress. I strongly recommend extreme caution.

In reference to Dr. Deborah Rosenblatt from Smile Spa of Northern NJ. First never got a bill. I had…read moreto call my insurance company to ask because I wanted to get my copay back which I shouldn't have ever paid. Found out they charged me 350$ for a consultation??!!!! They took X-rays which are part of the preventative care , she spent more time putting the X-rays into the little slots on a chart then she did talking to me or cleaning my teeth. She mentioned when she looked into my mouth before she cleaned my teeth that I may need a deep cleaning but that's just mentioning. I told her I don't have the money for that now just a regular cleaning today that I should get for free twice a year. I mentioned a few times and when I made the appointment I'm only here for my free cleaning. (When I say free cleaning I mean covered by insurance and no out of pocket for me.) Looking in my mouth and saying you need this is not a consultation. I asked for a cleaning I didn't ask for her advice , if she said something that was her telling me what I need on her end, never once was the word consultation used. Was I supposed to close my ears and say "lalala" when she spoke to me? I told her like 4 times I don't have money I'm just here for a cleaning. I did not once mention I had pain or any issues, I did not provide any reason for her to "consult" me nor was this ever mentioned when I called for my appointment for a cleaning, when I sat In the chair and stated "I'm only here for a cleaning" or anytime during the visit. They did not submit the 30$ copay I paid either to my insurance. They were trying to charge me a 100$ copay even though I shouldn't have had any copay. I quickly ran out to my car and called my insurance who faxed them over a copy of my coverage. They still requested some copay so I paid 30$ which is normally my specialist copay in hopes I would get it refunded when they got paid by insurance. The dentist Rosenblatt ran into her office and shut the door while all of this was happening. Also when i signed the new patient forms I even said to the receptionist "there are no hidden costs right" and she said "don't worry any costs will be discussed with you by the doctor" I didn't ask for any advice she provided basic information and asked basic questions. Again, what was I supposed to do when she spoke, closed my ears and eyes? My breakdown also says scaling which was absolutely not done. She literally cleaned my teeth for 15 min. I even texted my fiancé at 12:53pm and said "I don't even think she's cleaning my teeth today ! I'm sitting here doing nothing." She came in a few min. Later cleaned my teeth for 15 min and I was out and calling my insurance by 1:20 complaining they were charging me a copay . By the way she was extremely rough and made my gums bleed excessively as well as I believe she may have even chipped one of my front teeth! I work hard for my money and don't make much of it. I put my family, pets and bills before myself all the time. This is an example of me asking for the bare minimum for my teeth, just to make sure they don't fall out of my head. Complete scammer and fraud. That 350$ better drop. Wish people could comment I see some reviews showing the same but really would like to know what everyone did to get their money back or drop the costs!
