The inspection of our house pointed out some corroded pipes (including one directly above the electrical panel), as well as the unexpected discovery that the main water line into the property was a lead pipe. We opted to have all the work done at once soon after moving in, and got multiple quotes from various plumbers. The guys from Aqua who came out to do the assessment were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, giving us detailed explanations of what they would be doing in order to get the job done. They also pointed out some extraneous pipes in the laundry room, and recommended spending the little bit extra to get the entire space tidied up while they were on site; normally I would have considered such suggestions as an up sell, but it made total sense to me since they were in the space doing half the work already. The initial quote from Aqua came in a bit higher than the other plumber we were considering, and Aqua price matched without any issue. Throughout the experience, I loved that I could communicate with Aqua via email (often easier for me due to the nature of my work), and they were always easy to reach. They also accommodated the need to shift the day for the work due to an unexpected overlap with the moving truck, which I greatly appreciated. In the days leading up to the job, I received detailed explanations of the work to be done, including the names of the workers assigned to my job, which made me feel even better about Aqua's professionalism. The day of the job, the truck was a little delayed but work commenced immediately after the guys arrived, and all the work was completed in one day - they arrived around 8:30 AM and wrapped a little before 5 PM. All five guys were great, and partway through the day they asked about fixing another pipe in the laundry room they hadn't seen before, which I readily consented to. The hole in the sidewalk to access the lead pipe was also significantly smaller than expected, which was an added bonus. While the guys did their best to keep dirty boot prints at bay, my biggest complaint was that they did not cover anything in the laundry room prior to drilling holes in the wood (I had to vacuum twice to get all the splinters up). The laundry tub was even full of wood chips, meaning they started drilling and didn't close the lid. Getting all of this work done was very expensive, but we are both so happy with the experience with Aqua, and will certainly use them again if we need anything plumbing related in the future. read more

Beyond thankful for Aqua. This morning a valve burst in my bathroom, it looked like a hurricane in there with how much water was spraying all over the place. I called a coworker and she recommended Billy to come out and solve the issue. She contacted him for me while I was trying to figure out how to shut the water off to the entire building (typically there's a shut off valve behind faucets but not the one I have so it was a hot mess trying to find out where to shut the water off, even my landlord wasn't sure where to look...) Billy was at my door in literally 10 minutes. He was able to tell us what we needed & got the job done quickly and efficiently. I currently rent so I did not pay out of pocket but I personally thought the cost of the service was worth the money just based off how quickly the problem was solved. They are not thorough...they do not have appropriate equipment to do a proper job...added the cost of toilet seat removal which ended up being more than the cost of having them come out for the drain clean. Added to all this, they did a shoddy job...I will NOT recommend them! read more

Was able to get a same day appointment for a second opinion after the gas company told us we had a leak with our heater line. Aqua responded to my Yelp message and I was able to schedule an appointment for later in the day. They called saying they were running late and then the technician called to follow-up, giving an estimate of the time he would arrive. Once he arrived (I believe it was Bobby), he was socially distant, wore a mask and was professional. We told him our situation and that we wanted a second opinion. He was honest and told us that our first opinion was correct in his assessment. He did point out some other things that may be the cause of our sewer smell and said he would be glad to come out again if the smell continued. Aqua Plumbing is not a company of plumbers. They are a well oiled team of master craftsmen Warning: this will not be a short review. You can't boil down greatness into a couple of sentences. I originally contacted Aqua Plumbing and Heathing to have a faucet installed outside on the front of my wall. I gathered some estimates from them and others but chose to pick Aqua based on their high ratings (well deserved) and their customer service ettiquette and super quick response times. Mike was here later that same week to look at the desired location on the front of my house, the current plumbing and the fixture I provided. He provided a fair estimate and was able to complete the work that same day in not much time at all. His attention to detail, professionalism and humor are all top-notch. He definitely went above and far beyond with providing a clean installation with a relatively simple job. With such a great experience the first time, I decided to reach back out to have all of the plumbing from my bathroom and main drain/vent stack replaced. I also wanted to replace a leaky tee fitting that was dripping onto a black iron gas pipe directly beneath it and the gas pipe itself. This was definitely a big job in such an old house since there was cast iron, a waste/vent stack that ran outside from the bathroom and entered back through the basement to the main sewer and a lot of old school engineering involved. No matter what challenges were thrown, unexpected leaks from bad joint connections, routing piping around windows, etc, Mike and Bobby handled everything on the fly with amazing results. Just like the previous job, the quality of the work was absolutely impeccable. Everything looks as if it came originally with the house and I can't think of anything more to improve any of the new work. It's rare that I completely trust anyone with working on my house but with Mike and crew there was never a doubt/concern in my mind. Now we have all new up to code infrastructure with room to update/repair/replace much more easily in the future. Even on post work walk through, Mike provided some recommendations to replace my water heater with a shorter model of same capacity due to how the exhaust was currently routed incorrectly. The attention to detail can not be emphasized enough! No matter what work you're looking to have done, Aqua is the best. Period. We will be using them again for future work we have planned and recommending them others in need of plumbing work. read more

I was so pleased with the service I got from Aqua Plumbing. I had called a different plumber to look at my kitchen faucet which was leaking a ton of water from the base - to the point where there was a huge puddle under the sink and on the floor. This first plumber took one look at it and told me that the whole faucet would need to be replaced...but this very same plumber had installed that faucet in my house about 7 months before. I called Aqua for a second opinion, and after looking at it thoroughly he determined that a piece of the faucet needed to be tightened, which he did, and that fixed the problem! I've been using the same plumber for a number of years. I needed to make a change for several reasons, one being cost. My regular plumber was getting to expensive. I thought there had to be other good plumbers out there that were more reasonable. I called Aqua plumbing and Billy answered right away. That was a plus right off the bat. Fortunately he was able to come the same day. A few hours later he was at my door. I needed a whole new shower mechanism installed, as well as a new faucet on the bathroom sink. He was very engaging, pleasant and more importantly, knowledgeable. His workers came the following week. They were just as pleasant and knowledgeable. They really made me feel at ease. The job took a while because it's a small bathroom and very tight to work in. They were wonderful. Took there time and made sure everything was done properly. The price was very reasonable.
