I would give John Mach 10 stars if that was a "thing" but alas, it's a 5 star max model. So here is 5 stars for hands-down the best Insurance Agent I have ever worked with. We had an unfortunate incident occur where the ceiling was almost raining due to a failed "valvey-thing" (for lack of a correct term) that joins pipes beneath the bathroom sink. It caused a significant leak which travelled into the walls, floor and first floor ceiling reaking all sorts of damage...all of which after much turmoil was fixed by our insurance company, who subsequently dropped us. And that presented quite a bit of stress as we sought new coverage from everywhere we could think of. I guess I'm a victim of marketing because after calling a couple companies that we already have policies with and learning that no one wanted to insure us, I heard in my head, "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there". And so I tried. I called the local State Farm Office after failing to get a quote online and they put me through to John. He took the information that he needed to go to his Underwriting Department and when they too did not want to write us, he called his friends in the industry until he found a broker with a company that would. Who does that? Well suffice it to say, my good neighbor at State Farm, John Mach does! He went so far above and beyond to help us. I really cannot recommend him enough. read more

Original review (1 star): I wish I could say that I have had a great experience with this State Farm branch but unfortunately that is not the case. In the last 8 months I've had them as my insurance: I have been overcharged for the first 6 months (Jan - June), My policy has been cancelled and had to be re-instated by no fault of my own, and I have been overcharged AGAIN in the month of July. In addition to that, I have been sending countless text messages, screen shots and spending time on the phone with agents. UPDATE (3 stars): John contacted me directly on 08/08. He sincerely apologized for the poor experience I've had so far which seems to have been caused by confusion in the billing department (due to various reasons). He admitted that these issues should have been brought to his attention sooner by his team so that they could be properly resolved. I appreciate his quick response after finally be informed of my experience and will continue to keep them as my insurance provider. I plan to update this once again after a few months of hopefully good, uninterrupted and consistent service. Thank you John! read more
