Update: the owner has responded stating they offered a refund as soon as they were aware of the situation. THAT IS A LIE. He didn't offer ANY solution the first time I called. It wasn't till the second time I called after I got off the phone with the actual insurance company and learned that they had actually charged me $25 more than what was needed. In August, after the first time my policy was cancelled due to us not reporting our new card info we were charged $222.18. This September after they failed to inform us that automated payments were no longer enrolled and after updating our card with the brokers company thinking that was setting up auto pay they charged us $247.18. When I questioned the broker the second time I got on the phone with them asking why I was charged way more this month he claimed it was broker fees for their agency and that's when he said he could either zelle/cashapp or venmo me $20. I stated I wish they could do more and reimburse more since I don't think it was our fault this second time my policy got cancelled but again he stated their was nothing else they can do even after telling him I have screenshots confirming with them that my card was updated in August. LET ME INFORM YOU ALL THAT THEY DID NOT ISSUE ANY REFUND OF THE $20 they stated they would reimburse. They are liars and unethical. Also, it's funny you are claiming you want to make this right when on the phone you clearly said over and over again that what is done is done and there was nothing you can do. You also have my contact information and know exactly who I am and could reach out and make it right if you truly wanted to and it is clear that what you're doing here is trying to make your company look good after this horrible incident. I've attached some pictures below confirming card update information with them. Notice how they gaslight us stating that for SOME REASON the insurance company rejected the payment.. Umm yeah because you guys never updated the card with the actual insurance company and it only went through once they attempted because the brokers had my card info NOT the actual insurance company‍ read more

Both of my cars are now insured through Street Smart. I first opened a policy with them a couple years back when I bought my Honda Cr-V from the dealer, and Carlos was able to get my insurance set up instantly so I could drive it off the lot (mind you it was around 8pm on a weekday so that was extremely convenient). Customer service is always smooth; I've bugged them at the wee hours of the morning and evening and they are always there for me and assist me without delay. My policy with Farmers Insurance just ended on my 2010 Honda Civic and I texted Carlos right away to get a quote. For the same coverage I had with Farmers I am paying about $32 less each month which is great. I was referred this this insurance group by a good friend of mine and let me tell you right now, it was the best decision! I was just looking for a new insurance carrier for my bikes because All State raised my rates by almost double without letting me know why or when literally not even the slightest indication. The Agent there, Carlos Salas, contacted me right away and started working on some quotes. Within the same day I received a quote that cut my premium in half and I received even more coverage that I had before! I was so taken away by the savings that I decided what the hell, how about my two cars? He gladly took the info and started working on it promptly. He reached back the next day and got me a premium $100 less with the same coverages! I'm saving almost $300 a month from going with this group. That's over $3500 a year!
