used this car service to LaGuardia from NJ, and vice versa. was assured there would be car seats for 3 children. they arrive without any car seats. ok, we manage to get to the airport safely, ut still i was upset by this. so i call and complains, and am assured there will be car seats for our return service to NJ. so guess what? yes, there are car seats, but they aren't installed, and they are filthy. like really gross. what a disappointment. read more

We used this service to pick us up at Newark Airport and drive us into Manhattan. Having never flown into this airport before I was a little nervous about what to expect. Traveling with my daughter and her best friend. As we came down the escalator into the baggage claim there was our drive Steve waiting for us and all my stress melted away. He took such great care of us, helping with our luggage. He got us settled into the car with waters. He gave us some great tips for our time in the city. Do not use this company! I have been using them for over a year and have had problems here and there. Today was the last straw! I received an email confirmation for pick up at 7:45. At 7:50 I called the driver to find out where he was. He had no idea about the pick up. When I called the company they apologized and said they would call him. After 10 minutes on hold they said they don't have a driver and can I hold on while they find another one. After another 5 minutes they said they could have a driver at my house in 15 minutes. When I asked more questions it turns out the driver wouldn't get to me for 25 minutes. No point in hiring a car service that makes you miss you plane. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT USE THEM! read more

It's this simple: use John Peters Limo and don't worry about your transportation on your wedding day. We booked two stretch limos for our bridal party to take us to the venue. They arrived half an hour early and waited until we were ready to leave. The drivers were great and the limos looked amazing. For the way home, we booked a 1933 Rolls Royce to take us from the venue to our hotel. The car was awesome. Champagne was waiting for us in the back and our driver even took the long way to the hotel to give us a longer time in the limo and some extra time to soak the whole experience in. We used JP Limos for our wedding in Dec. 2012. They were great. The limos were clean and comfortable. The staff and drivers were kind and professional. We used a party bus for our 20 person bridal party and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend this company. One of the bridesmaids left a bouquet on the bus and the driver literally ran to the church to drop it off. When we booked the limos, we were also given a complimentary car to bring us to the airport for our honeymoon! read more

We got picked up right outside Lion King on Broadway to go back to Ridgewood NJ, and I HIGHLY recommend -- otherwise we would have gotten home at midnight. Not great for a 9-year-old. Instead, we got home before our NJ Transit train would have even left Penn Station! That's money well spent. And my sister and nephew took them to the airport. I have flown over 70,000 miles over the past year and John Peters was there with me every step of the way - always on time and in communication. They are big enough to keep pace with my changing schedules and often last minute changes where I jump on earlier flights or change flights because of cancelations. Once I forgot to notify JP of an earlier flight home I was taking but they still were able to pick me up with no problems. If I could give them more stars I would. Everything from the initial booking process to the pickups and dropoffs went smoothly. When I first called around for quotes for a limo service for my son's HS prom, I was getting ridiculously expensive quotes until I spoke to Larry at John Peters. He gave me a very fair quote which included the tip. After paying, I received separate e-mail receipts with a confirmation number for each leg of the trip. Since I wanted this night to be perfect for my son and his date, I confirmed the day before by sending Larry an e-mail, which he promptly responded to. I even asked to change the pickup time which he accommodated. On the night of the prom, the limo driver, Shawn, who I'm mentioning by name since he was great, was on time (a few minutes early) and incredibly friendly. He allayed my ex-wife's slight anxiety over how my son would find him (he exchanged #'s with my son for him to text if there was an issue). In the brief conversation we had with him, he mentioned that he's a teacher in the district, which my ex is as well, which made her feel better. The pickup on the ride home was just as smooth. Kids ended up leaving the prom 30 or so minutes early since many were going to the Jersey Shore. My son contacted Shawn around 10:45 and he was already there even though he wasn't scheduled to be there until 11:00 pm. On the dropoff, he asked my son to text him when he got into the house (front door is obstructed by some bushes) which made my ex feel even better about the service. John Peters Limo (JPL) has never failed me. I work at a car dealership and we send employees to the east coast for training. I make the arrangements for pick up and drop off at airports/hotels/training. It varies who answers the phone at JPL and every time it is somebody nice and willing to help. I never knew what it was like getting picked up or dropped off by JPL until I had the opportunity for training on the east coast. My flight got changed from EWR to JFK and they called me before I had a chance to call them to re-arrange my transportation. My driver, Tom, knew it was my first time in the NY/NJ area and he pointed out all the tall buildings and where we were. It was a great ride. The drivers went above and beyond -- from navigating very congested city traffic to brainstorming the best place to park and avoid being seen by my guests, to the actual red carpet that was rolled out each time I stepped out the car -- they are in a class by themselves. My driver Paul was actually fixing the train of my dress as I prepared to walk down the aisle with my Dad, and gave me advice on how to hold my flowers!
