Even at CanJam it's not really possible. When I heard about this being possible from Steve the Audiophiliac on YouTube via Dr. Julie Glick's - Musicans Hearing Solutions office, I booked an appointment immediately. Drove down from the Bay Area for this opportunity. First she checked my ears to see if they needed to be cleaned but my ears were already clean. Then onto the demo. I got to try many of the IEMs maybe 12 different ones (not sure), when I went. Ultimate Ears, Jerry Harvey Audio, and 64 Audio were available, and we did the blind tests. I did not feel rushed, and spent at least 2 minutes or longer with each IEM which is all I needed. My personal top 5 picks were, in this order: 64 A18t 64 A18s 64 A12t JH Jimi JH Layla 64 Audio A18t sounded very good, but then we put the m15 apex module in and I was sold. All 5 of them were excellent but I drifted more into 64 Audio's direction. Although JH had stronger bass. I ended up purchasing A18t custom IEMs via Dr, Julie Glick and was able to customize my pair, and even get a discount, and a free hearing test. Was surprised that my hearing came back normal since I've been to over 500 concerts and am constantly wearing headphones, etc. but grateful that I still have my hearing and also that Dr. Julie Glick's shop even exists. Not only am I happy with this opportunity, but it was worth the trip from the Bay Area (6 hour drive).

However, she recently moved to Santa Clarita to be closer to us and we took her to this office today. According to her, this is the nicest, most professional and friendly office staff with all the up-to date equipment. Her hearing aid stopped working. It was purchased at a different audiology department. Audiology Associates sent the hearing aid out for repairs and contacted the previous business where it was purchased to get the most up to date records. The staff communicated regularly with my mother-in-law and kept her informed during the entire process. The hearing aid was fixed a week sooner than expected. It was very easy to make the appointments. Once the new settings were dialed in they told her she could come in any time without an appointment for any type of adjustments. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is to work with such a professional and friendly business.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Pearce and her team. I am incredibly grateful for…read moreeverything they have done for me. When I first found the Dizzy & Vertigo Institute, I was completely lost and terrified. After experiencing two bouts of vertigo, my entire world turned upside down. My anxiety (which I had struggled with for many years) was through the roof. I constantly felt like I had this gravitational pull, was unsteady all the time, and honestly felt like I was losing my mind because I had no idea what was happening. I had seen two different ENTs, and both told me, "It's just BPPV. It should go away soon. Give it a couple of months." But no one could explain the constant gravitational pull, the swaying, or the feeling of instability. I was left without answers or guidance, and I became desperate. Finding Dr. Pearce was truly life-changing. During one of the scariest and lowest points of my life, Dr. Pearce gave me something I desperately needed: hope. She not only gave my condition a name, PPPD, but she also told me that it could be treated. At a time when I couldn't imagine ever feeling normal again, her confidence and optimism became my guiding light. From my very first consultation through every follow-up visit, I was treated with kindness, compassion, and genuine care. Dr. Pearce never once made me feel like my symptoms were "all in my head" or that I was overreacting. She listened, validated my experiences, and made me feel truly seen. Little by little, day by day and month by month, I began to improve. There were times when I felt more like myself than I had in months. And whenever I experienced a setback, Dr. Pearce was there to reassure me, adjust my treatment, and help me move forward again. I always knew I had someone in my corner, and that support made all the difference. Eventually, I reached the point where I "graduated" from treatment, and I was so excited. A few weeks after my last visit, however, I suddenly began feeling unstable again. The swaying returned while I was sitting and even when I was trying to sleep. Although I was doing my best to stay positive, the symptoms continued to worsen. As soon as I spoke with Dr. Pearce, she got me in quickly, reassessed my symptoms, and gave me a new treatment plan. Once again, it worked. I felt like myself again. One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that PPPD can have ups and downs, and I may experience symptoms again in the future. The difference now is that I'm no longer afraid. I know what I'm dealing with, and I know I have Dr. Pearce's expertise, compassion, and unwavering support to help me through it. Dr. Pearce didn't just help treat my PPPD, she gave me my confidence, my hope, and my life back. I will be forever grateful to her and her entire team. If you're struggling with dizziness, vertigo, or PPPD and feel scared or alone, I truly cannot recommend Dr. Pearce and the Dizzy & Vertigo Institute highly enough.

To start, in March of 2025 I experience my 1st vertigo episode after waking up to a spinning room. I wasn't sure why it happened but after going to a PT she reported I have BPPV, used the epley maneuver and sent me on my marry way. The only issue is that every month, like clock work I kept having vertigo symptoms, waking up in the middle of the night to the room spinning. I have gone to several ENTs with the same stupid response "take medication, you just have vertigo." As someone who likes to believe they're more holistic, I did not accept that as an answer. I just felt like something must be off. While it was an investment I am so happy I found DVI and Dr. Pearce. She is a literal angel and exactly what I needed at the time!! Finally, a doctor that was able to look at the whole picture and not gaslight me to believe that I am just 32 years old with a bad case of BPPV, crystals flying out of my ear every 3 weeks. She tailored a treatment plan just for me, and supported me though further investigation, including blood work, and looking at the neurology of my brain. I learned that my history of migraines and hormonal imbalance may have continued to vestibular migraines. While it was an overwhelming process with ovarian cysts and learning I have endometriosis in the background of it all, I can say that I was able to find peace in this health journey. The spinning has stopped happening in the middle of the night, I do not feel like I'm on a boat the majority of my life, I am not triggered by a spinning washing machine, or a car passing by, and I sure as heck feel like myself again. If you have the ability to see this treatment through, I highly suggest giving Dr Pearce a shot. Getting the whole picture rather than being gaslight and thrown medication at, was worth every penny!
