Not impressed. Looked up their reviews and literally every review mentioned a different person like the company was some sort of referral service. But during that process I stumbled on reviews for GEHM and what's not to love? I submitted a request for a quote through the website. I received a response more quickly than I expected. Mark had clearly read what I wrote (yippee), had a couple quick questions, and then gave me a quote which seemed reasonable to me. Great communication and I booked it with confidence. Mark did not disappoint. He was prompt, personable and professional. Ok, that's enough alliteration but you get the point. He did a GREAT job cleaning a very nasty second story deck patio roof - better than I expected! I had moved my horse to another pasture to give Mark safe access to the paddock on the side of the barn. OF COURSE on this ONE RANDOM DAY the horse's gate post shifted, the gate opened and the horse walked out, out the paddock gate (which I had left open for Mark) and into the driveway. I will be forever grateful for Mark alerting me to the situation. That horse could've walked down the street to a main thoroughfare resulting in a vehicle accident to someone else which I'm sure would not end well for the horse either. TL/DR: Great job! Smart guy. I cannot believe what an incredible job they did on cleaning our roof and gutters! We are underneath many large trees and the roof was full of pine needles and small branches. The gutters were jammed with a few years of needles, branches and pinecones. Salmon Bay came out and literally made our roof and gutters shine like new! There was a lot of debris that they disposed of. The most amazing part was that they FULLY cleaned up the entire area on the ground and hosed the house off as well. We had never had professionals power wash our yards so it was a big surprise to see the results--years of mold, algae, and dirt build up were washed away! Rep called me back and explained why they are cautious about cleaning metal roofs. In short I've…read morebeen doing it wrong. He offered to make things right but his explanation was enough. I have a metal roof and gutters with gutter guards. They company that used to do an excellent job on my roof (I'll call them "JB") is a janitorial firm that appears to no longer do roofs. I called AA based on reviews and explained that my roof was quite dirty with pollen and was clear with them it was metal. They said they would come and blow the roof off and see what else could be done. They did NOT come right out and say they could not clean up pollen. They quoted me a price lower than the previous company had been charging, so I scheduled the work about three weeks out. The tech came out late in the afternoon, spent a LOT of time looking around and talking to the office and then told me that they could only blow debris off. To do a wash would take two people a full day and cost around $2,000. Sorry, that's NOT going to happen! I said go ahead and blow the roof off, there was plenty of Douglas fir cones and other debris that needed to come off anyway. The work was fine for what it was, though there's still a mess of pollen up there. I would have preferred that they just say "we don't clean metal roofs because you won't be happy with the results."
