The chorizo had that bold, authentic flavor that elevates any carne asada. What really stood out though was the management that weekend. They were handing out flowers, chocolates, and even giving away their hats to customers. That level of generosity and appreciation during such a busy time says a lot about how they treat their community. Actually, one was from Stater Bros and the other was from Vallarta. You guys can check the cameras we came in with a small, black Stater Bros shopping cart with the bags in it from the parking lot. At 6:56 p.m., when we were ready to pay for our groceries, the cashier, her name was Megan, scanned my personal Stater Bros bag and removed the tag. Respectfully, I told her that I came into the store with the bags. Very rudely, she stared at me and said she was going to check with her manager. It was very embarrassing to me she automatically assumed I had stolen the bag because my bag was clean, she said. I wipe down my bags after I am done using them because my groceries go in my bags. It was a bit busy at the moment in the store. We were holding up the line, and customers were staring at me as if I was a thief. The manager finally told her it was okay, and she finished putting my groceries in my bags, and I was able to pay for what I went in to buy. Please, I had my little girl with me, and I didn't think of removing the tags before. I never do. From now on, I will, and I'll probably write my name on the inside with a permanent marker.
