overall- i really love the vibe of this place----although I used to come here more often. Friday nights are an absolute blast. The combination of Rhonda the bartender Mike the DJ are an absolute blast. It's fast to get a drink and the DJ keeps the place happy and chill. (5 stars for them) I'm not sure what's going on over there on Saturday nights lately, but the vibe is definitely different and not a match for me. I was there a couple weeks ago on a Saturday and even though the place was packed, the bartender could obviously not handle the amount of drinks that were coming in. She closed the place down early and we were forced to somewhere else. which was sad cause I wanted to enjoy my night out. The week before that the same bartender was there and getting a lot of negative attention because of her attire. It made it uncomfortable for me and a lot of other people to watch. Last night, I walked in and right back out for the same reason. This is the first time that I've really frequented my neighborhood bar, and I was really getting used to the spot always having a fun vibe. Lately the consistency has definitely been off. read more

I love the pub but the bartender romona is not nice and I will not be going Saturday nights anymore because of her she's rude as hell and just tacky the other bartenders respect me and she just walks away mid order super rude . Went to Johnny's last week during the day. Good bar, got my drinks from Ramona, who has a bit of sass which is fun, and she's easy on the eyes. She was having to deal with an obvious jerk that either finally left or got kicked out (I was deliberately not listening because I had my fill of jerks for the day.). After that the bar was much better, and I enjoyed it. Will be back. (Only 4 stars because of the jerk.) read more

Let me start off by saying Im not a big Yelper. With that being said, I felt compelled to write a review. I was in the Pub on Sat 3/7. I was in the area visiting a friend like I occasionally am, and they suggested we go to Johnnys and get some drinks. Being I have never been there, I agreed and thought it would be fun. As we walked in there, there wasn't that many people. Wasn't what I was expecting for a Saturday night. I figuered cool, get a table and since they have a pool table maybe play a game or two. We were basically standing in front of the bar trying to figure out if we were gonna sit at a table or go to a high top. During our conversation, we over heard the Bartender being EXTREMELY RUDE. I didn't hear the specific order, but it was a very sharp and rude response. Made me take notice. The bar wasn't over crowded so I let it go chakling it up to her having a bad day. As we stood there we watched her slam another drink on the counter then made another snarky comment. I asked someone else a couple feet over from me if she was like that when they got their drink. They said yes. I told my friend we were leaving, and they said to O'Sullivans. I have no idea what her name was, but it was a heavier set, scantily clad white female that wears glasses. I had to make sure it wasn't Holloween because I thought to myself that there is no way she looked in the mirror before she left her house. My friend wanted to stay and see if she would bend over and if anything would pop out. I can't say if Ill ever go back when Im in the area, but I can say this, if I do, and I walk in and see her, I will walk out. Its unfortunate this happened. The bar itself looks like a great place. Hopefully the owners read this and take notice. I will also say that we were not the only ones that left because of this issue either. I can't imagine what she would have been like is the bar was busy. Best of luck going forward if this place has her as a regular. read more

Mike DJ/KJ is amazing! Friday nights. The bartender RHONDA is soooo attentive and super nice. LOVED everything about her. The duo on a Friday night you can't go wrong. One of the BEST KJ sound's I've heard and I do Karaoke on a norm. Will definitely go back when in town. Checked this place out the night before Thanksgiving and it was packed and the two girls behind the bar were on Fire with getting everyone served, besides them being fast they were very friendly and made me feel welcomed not knowing anyone. I've been on the hunt for a dive bar since I moved from SF and I think I've finally found my spot! This is a no-frills bar with all the basic booze, some beers on tap, and a large selection of beer in bottles and cans. There's one pool table that's often used and a few tables scattered towards the back of the bar. It's not a big place, but it's cozy and if you can get past the rough exterior, you'll find that this local spot is a community without any drama. The vibe is super chill. Whether it's Bingo night or Karaoke night, you're guaranteed to have a good time... and that's largely due to their incredible bartender, Rhonda. She treats every customer, new ones and regulars, the exact same: with positive enthusiasm, a friendly demeanor, and super efficient service. Been driving past this place for the longest time, swearing to try it. On a whim I went on a Wednesday with my friend and happened upon bingo night, $5 buy in. I had a great time and Rhonda our bartender was GREAT. Everybody was super friendly and the crowd was great. just wish there were more choices on the draft but it's a small bar. The only thing that we really liked about this bar was the bartender Rhonda.Upon entering the place smelled like stale beer and pee. It is clear there is no management here to oversee things. Bathrooms were very dirty even when it was only about 530pm, we showed up for an after work cocktail. The prices seemed to change every time we ordered. maybe happy hour played into that ? Fun, friendly dive bar! Came here to play pool (they have 1 table) but ended up sticking around and had a blast joining their Wednesday Night Bingo. I haven't played Bingo since elementary school and I can definitely say it's way more fun as an adult + alcohol. Crowd was older and not super diverse but everyone was nice, taught us the ropes of playing Bingo and even shared their home made brownies. Rhonda was our lovely bartender and she was a riot! I have an affection for this place and am appreciative of the clean up efforts improvements made by ownership, however, I recently found out that patrons are on camera. While I can certainly appreciate the need for security, I found this rather disconcerting. Are they recording me and or my conversations? There isn't any signage alerting patrons that they may be on camera. While this may be "legal" I find it creepy. Think I'll pass and take my business to places that don't put the patrons on camera.
