I was amazed by this cool and hospitable spot hiding in the Aloft hotel and WXYZ bar. Friendly staff, talented Chef, amazing service, and intimate atmosphere. Seared Ahi Tuna Salad and brown rice bowl are MUST HAVE. The tuna was cooked well but still beautifully raw in the center, extremely fresh and solid. I like the lemon vinaigrette too. The salmon brown rice bowl is also my favorite. The salmon was fresh and grilled perfect. The brown rice bowl was a little bit greasy but the flavor was soooooo good. They should change the name of this dish from brown rice bowl to something more attractive. The vanilla ice cream is also MUST TRY. Not too sweet, but very tasty. I even ask the Chef what brand it is. It turns out the Chef makes it himself with secret recipes. The BEST ice cream ever, no exaggeration!! They also carry good alcohol. There is happy hours in the afternoon. And also live music on Tuesday evening!!!

Seared Ahi Tuna...it was a little too salty today... :-(

I have been here a couple of times with co-workers during lunch meals. It's walking distance from our campus. Very good and friendly service. The place is located within Aloft hotel where many business people stay. It's very clean and easy to find. It's not crowded at all. The food is pretty good most of the time. What I meant by this is, they can have an off day like today. My Seared Ahi Tuna salad was salty. I have had their sandwiches, soup and salads. By all means, their menu is not big so you can't expect much. I did have my first dessert here and I had the Chocolate Salted Caramel pudding. It was very good but oh so rich! I would need lots of water. =] All in all, it's pretty good here.

Its a cool spot with a lot of potential...I came here for a few drinks on valentines day. They carry good alcohol and that's what I like the most when I go out to a bar. The appetizers sounded worth trying but I had plans to eat else were that night. I'm looking forward to my next visit for sure.

The beef sliders grilled to perfection and an explosion of flavors in these little bites.

First time at this hotel restaurant was very enjoyable. Ordered Sliders as an appetizer, brown rice bowl+Scottish salmon for my main dish with a side of roasted cauliflower...The meal was excellent and very tasty! Amazing food, great intimate atmosphere and friendly waiters. Will be returning and recommending to everyone. Can't wait to come back myself

We all ordered shwarma plates except my husband who ordered a wrap. The shwarma plate was very nice - it came with a small salad, rice, and shwarma. I like that they provided garlic sauce, salad vinaigrette, and your choice of cilantro or harissa sauce. I tried all of them and they were all good. For Filipinos, actually, this fits the palate very well - there is seasoned meat with rice. What else do you need in life? The salad is just a healthy bonus. My husband really enjoyed his wrap and he'd be interested in returning. The wrap used a flour tortilla...but the filling was very good. Even my parents who don't like to venture too far from Filipino-American food were interested in returning, especially because the location is nearby Popeye and Seafood City. We came in around lunch time on a Saturday, and there were some people eating inside and outside. Staff were very friendly and the seating area was clean.

The plate had a generous serving of rice and hummus - the chicken was tender and flavorful. The wrap was crispy on the outside, the Achilles chicken was very tasty as well. The falafel was a disappointment though as it was not fully cooked. There was a slight raw taste to it. Took the food to go and the server was very cheerful.

This space is special to us and we regularly go back and/or order in. The crème brule boba is excellent, as well as super souped-up takoyaki. They have some diverse offerings on the menu and are an asian fusion with Hawaiian, Chinese, and Japanese on the menu. Seems odd but the reason we came here over other places was I saw they had Honey Walnut Shrimp on the menu and its been almost a year since I had it. Interior is on the newer side and the large windows create a lot of nice natural light inside. Golden Eel Rice: A bright yellow egg moat with rice and garnish in the middle. The egg is topped with Unagi. Loved how clean this one tasted but in hindsight I could make something like this at home and should have went for some of the more standard sizzling plates. Beef Rice: Beef surrounding a mound of rice with corn and green onion toppings. It comes with a paper ring around it to remind you it is HOT and you will burn yourself if you touch it. It stays hot for a long time and the kids loved cooking on it. The rice also gets that nice black crunchy char layer on it which my wife loves.

And the place was quiet, lots of tables and chairs. Will go back again. We ordered the chicken gyro bowl and chicken souvlaki plate and the baklava. It was around $40 with the baklava. The place is beside Starbucks, the baklava was so good with tea.

Mediterranean franchise that serves up delicious gyros and fries that can get loaded with extras…read morebut beware that the extra toppings may not be proportional to their price. Nick The Greek has all the classic schwarma and kabobs you're craving for from Mediterranean cuisine with a more modern, convenient twist through their pita and plate combos consisting of standard fries as well as those loaded with generous portions of meat and sauces. As with most gyro places, the schwarma slices are the highlights and Nick The Greek has a good beef/lamb schwarma that came with crispy ends in my most recent order. The combo of fresh veggies, fries, and schwarma made each bite a hearty one. The crunch from the lettuce paired well with the soft pita bread holding the whole thing together. With each order, you're able to request add ons for additional costs but for the amount you pay, you'd expect a generous portion of the add on but it doesn't seem to be the case. A request for "extra fries" amounted to about 6 strings and tomatoes and olives were almost non-existent. Fortunately, I was able to cover most of the costs with a coupon code so it wasn't too big of a deal that there were less toppings or things completely missing. To go with my gyro, I also ordered a side of their Nick's Fries which are just fries topped with meat, sauces, and some green onions. I opted for the beef/lamb schwarma and it was certainly a meal in itself at this point. The fries still had some rigidity but because of the sauces, they were pretty soaked. The flavors were still enjoyable and the giant slices of meat made for a very filling side. I also got a cup of their strawberry dragonfruit juice and it was refreshing. A bit sweet but the tartness was good balance and quenched my thirst as I was consuming the savory meal. The staff were welcoming and quick to fulfill the order. I had ordered take out and everything was ready by the estimated time and packaged nicely - no messes by the time I got home to enjoy the meal. It definitely helped to have such a large parking lot which made the quick pick up that much quicker. For those looking to dine in, they have plenty of tables inside the shop and a few outdoors if you're keen on soaking in some sun. Overall, Nick The Greek satisfies that Mediterranean craving with their menu of pitas, plates, bowls, salads, and fries. The staples you'd expect like schwarma and falafel are made well here and the prices are reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. With their mobile app, you may earn rewards that can be redeemed for more food so if you're a frequent visitor, you'll benefit greatly! If you're looking for a quick lunch or early dinner, Nick The Greek rarely has a line and can get your food ready to go and packing in your belly in no time.
