When I first headed into John's Auto Sales, I was alone and a little nervous that I would be taken advantage of. However, my assumption could not have been further from the truth. From the moment I stepped foot in John's Auto Sales, every person with whom I interacted made me feel incredibly comfortable. The salesperson, Paul, intently listened to my every need and want for the trade-in; he then went above and beyond to make each of them a reality. As someone who does not have a great deal of knowledge about cars, working with and gaining trust in those who provide auto service is vital for my comfort. After the purchase was made, I realized that there were three features advertised with this car that were missing. I contacted Rocco, another salesperson, who told me to bring the car back at my convenience so the issue could be rectified. They immediately installed two of the three missing features (a new stereo system with SiriusXM radio and a backup camera) and substituted the third feature (heated seats) with a remote-control starter. My experience with John's Auto Sales was one of the best I've ever had. Everyone that I encountered was very kind, patient, professional, and trustworthy. bought a car here back in march and this place was recommended by a friend so i went. I should have stayed away from the first time i had issues with them even giving me a call back about a loan situation. 7 months later i have put 1500$ of my OWN money into the car because its not covered under warranty( when i bought the car i was told my warranty covered bumper to bumper for 24 months). I was told my car is in good condition upon buying it until its been in the shop 7 times because it keeps falling apart piece by piece. Their work on helping you sucks! They do half ass work to keep you quite, and when you keep going foward and pushing with your issues they get more nasty. My last recent encounter the had some half ass guy drive my car too see what was wrong with it, he told the owner nothing was wrong and i was then told im on my own to fix it cause they cant help me. They never even bothered to put the car up to take a look under the hood. I took it upon my own and brought it to another mechanic who is amazing and greatfully looked under my car completely and test drove it and told me " how did that guy not hear that noise"? All 4 struts were gone. SO in a total of 7 months being a 2005 it had so much work done to it that shouldnt have been needed for atleat 2 years. I didn't want to spend a great deal of money on a new car only to have it depreciate the minute I drive it off the lot. So I went to Johns Auto very skeptical of buying a used car but in this economy a guys gotta do what he can to save a buck and put food on the table and keep the lights going in the house. Well I went in and there was a guy at the front desk with a big smile, I rememeber his name because it the same as mine "Paul" telling me to come on in and sit down in my mind I said here it comes the sale push. I am pleased to say he asked me what I was looking for, I told him a Ford Edge and he said let me see what we have and then I found myself talking to John, yep the real John, who then informed me that he had a couple of used Edges coming in next week and if I would be willing to come back, I said sure what the heck, why not, whats another week I said to myself, after all, I didn't notice them being pushy like other places trying to sell me on what they had sitting on the lot already. This was by far the best service I have ever had! They have a great selection of cars to meet anyone's needs, for a reasonable price. This was my first time buying a car at a dealership and they made the experience worth it. The finance manager, Rocco was especially helpful. We reviewed my budget to ensure I find an affordable deal and he worked very hard to get me a deal with the creditor. Initially my payments were high but he was extremely thorough in investigating better rates and CUT MY PAYMENTS IN HALF and he also REDUCED THE PRICE OF THE CAR. He was also very personable and friendly, as with all of the other staff. The car was also well below the KKB value so I definitely felt secure in buying from them. They also offer refreshments and bubbly conversation while you wait. My view of car salesmen have changed, prior to this experience I viewed the whole experience as sleazy-want-to-take-all-your-money, but they actually saved me a ton of money and ensured I was very happy when I left! My experience with John's Auto Sales has been fantastic. I recently bought 2 used Mercedes from their N.Andover lot and traded in my wife's LX470. Mark took care of me from start to finish and he was great. He spent a lot of time with me looking at cars, was upfront with info/Carfax reports, gave me a great deal on the 2 Mercedes and a fair price for my trade in. He let me test drive the cars as much as I wanted, got me the best financing deal, and delivered the cars to my house in excellent working condition, with all the paperwork, spare keys, and operator manuals. The only post-delivery issue I had was that I got a flat on my c300 and couldn't find the wheel lug nut key anywhere. An unusual problem and not something you typically check before you buy. Anyway, John the owner called me, picked up the car from my house, took care of the problem, and then returned it to my house within a few days. He even called me several times with updates. I have probably bought a dozen new and used cars over the years and I have to say this is the best end-to-end car buying experience I have had. I also purchased a vehicle from here, and the transmission failed after 6 months! The car was only a year old! This place is sooooo shady, and they acted like it was an honor for me when they introduced me to "john". WHAT A JOKE!! The only reason I bought from here was because I had a credit score of "0", and wanted to establish credit with a car loan. And as a side note, the finance companies they use are also sketchy. I ended up trading in the car at a REAL car dealership (after my friend put a band-aid on the transmission) and bought a new car, with a loan from a REAL BANK, with a 3.9% interest rate, rather than a 40% interest rate like you get at johns. So, i was glad to be done with johns (so i thought), BUT sure enough, just like the other yelper said, they called me about a year after this, and said I OWED them $1000.00 for some BULLSH*T fee they "FORGOT" to get from me???? I told them they were absolutley WRONG, and i owed them NOTHING! They then "RECHECKED" my file, and of course, they made a mistake and i didnt owe them!!.....I wonder how many times they get away with that?????? I had a bit of bad streak lately with trying to purchase a vehicle the last month or so. John's Auto Sales was recommended to me by a cousin. I was afraid at first due too my not so great credit and was a little reluctant to go due to being let down so many times. When I arrived at the dealership with my 2 small children, we were cordially greeted by many different employees. My kids were very much welcomed and were offered all the snacks and drinks they wanted, which quickly made me comfortable to be there. I worked with Marco, Rocco, Kevin, Paul and of course John (the owner) to build a great deal on a great vehicle for a great price. I expressed my interests, my worries, my needs and wants. They quickly got down to business in making me offers to vehicles that would make sense to my budget. I walked into their dealership car-less on a Friday and by Monday afternoon I was in a lightly used 2015 Nissan Altima which turned out to be a way better car than I was originally interested in. Carl was amazing! He was honestly a huge reason why I chose this company to buy our car from. From the very start on the phone just asking questions, he was so helpful and polite and just real. I had a bunch of different questions before making the trip down to see the van we wanted. We told Carl we were over an hour away and he right away said he'd look the car in and out and look everything up about the vehicle to make sure it was even worth the trip. He was so relatable and not pushy which is huge for us. After talking to him I just knew this was the place I wanted to go. Hi, I went to John's in search of a Jeep Liberty, I put a deposit down on jeep I really liked. However it took me longer than expected to get my financials together. When I went to get it it had been sold. They felt very bad and John said he would find me a Jeep and I would not leave there unhappy. A few days later he called and said they have a jeep that I might like. I went to work in indeed I loved it. It did not have two things however if that were very important to me. When being Bluetooth , the other being remote start. They said they would put them in an no charge. I was very happy with my service at this place. He also took some money off the car. I have been buying my cars from Johns Auto Sales for the past 15 years. The whole staff is great to work with. John is a great guy he gives me a great deal every time I buy something new from him. I rjust bought 2 Trucks from him last week a Chevy Suburban and a Ford Explorer. I got both trucks with full tanks of gas and they were detailed and very clean and the mechanics went thru the trucks and we went over everything together that I has concerns about and John made them fix everything I asked for. The salesman that helped me this time was Joey M he was very helpful and got me in these trucks right away. I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a car from John's Auto, and I cannot emphasize enough how much I regret that decision. I would strongly advise against buying a car from this dealership. My experience was filled with deceit, dishonesty, and disappointment. First and foremost, the sales representatives at John's Auto have a serious issue with honesty. During the sales process, they promised me a vehicle in pristine condition, low mileage, and a spotless maintenance history. However, upon receiving the car, it became apparent that the vehicle had numerous hidden issues that were conveniently omitted during the negotiations. It had significant mechanical problems that required costly repairs, which I had to foot the bill for. This blatant dishonesty in selling cars is inexcusable. I recently purchased a vehicle from the gentleman down at John's Auto sales on Somerville Ave and the experience was nothing but spectacular, as you know car buying can be a somewhat intimidating and nerve racking experience. The Staff made sure I was comfortable and I knew what I was getting myself into instead of just being concerned about the sale . Soooo my step mother has been in the market for 3 months and has been to couple big dealers and hasn't been able to purchase a newer car, on our way back from a dealer we stopped into a place in Lowell called the owl dinner where we met a women named Shy (amazing) who told us about Johns Auto Sales, we have heard from ppl in the past who sent us to other dealers and we were not impressed and told our selfs NO MORE LISTENING TO ANYONE!! I can't thank John, Rocco, and the rest of the team at John's Auto Sales enough for their professionalism and person-ability in my recently experience purchasing a Subaru Outback from them. I flew out from Las Vegas to buy a car, unseen, and then drive it home. I can't tell you what a hospitable group they had there; we sat around talking about Vegas and Boston while we sorted out paperwork and they really came through when I dropped the ball on registering the car before I had left NV. But what stood out to me the most were the kind gestures like when I told John my crazy plan to drive the car back across country he said 'Well, I want this car to be like I would have it as if it was my own sister driving it.' and had the shop weatherize it before I left ; or when Rocco messaged on my third day of the cross country trip to make sure everything was going ok. I was searching for a late model economy car [Focus, Corolla, Civic etc] when I saw an 2008 Hyundai Elantra for sale at John's Auto Sales advertised on Autotrader.com. The price was right...the mileage and condition of the car was right....the carfax report was clean. I decided to send an email inquiry about it. The sales man [Pauli] responded to my email inquiry within an hour. He answered all my questions and was open and up front about the car. When I got to the lot, he handed me the key and said "take it for a ride, let me know what you think". There was no pressure, no sales pitch, nothing. My boyfriend and I went John's Auto Sales. I would have to say the service there was AWESOME!!!. Paul greeted us and Bob ran the paper work. Paul asked us how he can help us, we told him that we had a 2004 Ford Expedition that had a few issues. Paul and Bob did some calculation and made it happen. John's Auto team drove us to their other car lot and help us out by getting us into the car that we wanted. Which was a 2006 Honda Civic with low mileage and the price was just right! Thank you for the great help! I walked in there met with Ricky he was very helpful with getting my paper work done quickly and also offered me beverages. Paperwork process was smooth and easy. I was told to take as much time as I can for the test drive and they offered to fix some minor issues in the car I mentioned to them.
