I went into four different dry cleaners looking for help. Each and everyone of them said no, as they shook their head and rolled their eyes at me. I need to go to Walgreens at the corner of Cuba and Route 12 in Lake Zurich and noticed JP cleaners. I thought I would go in and ask even though I was positive they were going to say no and shake their head in roll eyes at me! I walked into JP dry cleaners at 2:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday. I explained my situation to the kind woman behind the counter. She immediately took my item and fixed it. Less than 10 minutes. She even did this with a smile!!! Excellent customer service!!! This definitely is where my dry cleaning is going to go from now on. If I need any altering This is where I will bring my items!

Not too much dryer gunk (chewing gum-like material stuck to the dryer drum). There are a lot of machines, so even if crowded, things can move fast. The reason for the 2 stars are thus: the place is not clean. The floors always have trash. It's not a tidy place. This might be due to the staff who do their best to pretend not to ignore you. They're too busy doing the drop off service that they don't sweep up or help customers. The other bad thing is the DIABOLICAL LAUNDRY CARD. This is a card that you load up with money to use the machines. You have to permanently lose time off your life, TIME that you will never get back, trying to get the card to read on the machine readers. It is extremely oppressive and is designed to make you question the meaning of your life. This laundromat is the equivalent of the egg salad at a gas station. You're hungry and you think you'll be ok. The only reason why I've been here 3 times is because the card has a balance. I refuse to leave a cent to this place, even if the scent it gives me is unpleasant.
