We spent 2.5 years of pure hell working with this company. All while he had over 3 million dollars of judgments of past victims wiped out by a bankruptcy and then changed company name. He's now running the same scam as Precision Craft Boat Works. How our court system allows people to get away with this is beyond me. We then started learning the stories about the other 5 new boat builds that were in his building unfinished. He of course had an excuse for each, none of which were his fault. When we started tracking these people down and talking to them, we found they were in the same situation we were in. 4 of the 5 boats had been there for over 4 years without anything being done to their boats. The 5th boat signed a contract within a month of us. Ultimately, we hired our own contractors to come in to work on our boat. We were many 10's of thousands over our contract price and in debt because of this crook. We left with our boat unfinished but it was drivable. We had to get out of there or we were going to lose our minds! I can tell you it consumed our lives. Every waking moment was spent figuring out how we were going to get out of this hell. To top it all off, he tried to extort over $25,000 from us on the day of our move. We later heard this was not the first time he had done that on the day someone was leaving his building. In that 2.5 years we saw so many victims come thru his doors. Whether your doing a repair or a new build you will be ripped off. I honestly didn't see anyone come out undamaged financially. People asked us "why don't you just take our boat out of his building". Guess what, while it's in his building he has control over it leaving. It's a civil matter and police and boat movers can not take anything out of his building/property if he says no. There has been people who had to sue him to get their boat released. This man and his family (they are all involved and know exactly what is going on) are the biggest con-artists I have ever met. The saddest thing is he has a very lucrative, money making business in his hands if he would just do business right. If he gave as much energy he uses scamming people to actually doing business right he would be a natural millionaire. I can't wait to visit him in jail someday. I have a lot to say to him!
