    Recently purchased a Four Winns H2 from Mello Marine. The entire process was organized, professional and friendly. We worked primarily with Sally, Mike and Bobby, who were helpful, prompt and honest. Looking forward to years of enjoyment from our new boat, and will most likely take it back to them for any service or upgrades due to the smooth experience we had during purchase.

    I would like to thank Sally, Bobby and the rest of the Mello team for their excellent customer service. Bobby is very knowledgeable of the Centurion product, he was able to answer all my questions, he's also very responsive with text and phone calls. I would also like to acknowledge Bobby's patience. I am sure he thought I was wasting his time at some point, but he was professional and worked with me for the five months it took me to make up my mind. Ultimately getting a price I believe is fair and chaffering with their broker to get terms I could agree to. The pro shop has a good selection of surfboards, wakeboards and all the necessities for a great day on the water. My family and I can't wait for the weather to warm up to take our new 2024 Ri230 out on the lake. I look forward to doing future business with Mello.

    We found this place online and looked at their inventory. We were looking for a boat, found that they had a 2002 Centurion Typhoon. We called in and placed a security deposit to hold the boat until we could test drive the boat. Bobby said the boat required some repairs before we could checkout the boat. We get pre-approved with one of their lenders. The day before we are suppose to visit we receive a call from Bobby asking if we are coming and confirmed we were coming as we scheduled with Jeremy. The day of the visit we arrive just after opening and the sales person seems confused about why we are costing. I explain we have an appt to test drive the boat and check it out. We start looking at the boat and see the trailer tires are cracked and old. In no condition to drive. We ask for a test drive to which Bobby says they do not allow test drives, but would allow to drop the boat in a water pool. We chat with the mechanic and he says he fixed the perfect pass and the boat was in working condition. They agree to credit the cost fix the tires because the existing tires would not make it even a mile. We sat down to sign paperwork... here is when we should have walked away. They increase the price$6k off the top, my address was wrong and added all these extra fees. The cost to repair the boat to get it ready for sale, which is normally how you price the boat. You don't add it to the top of the advertised price. They re-did the paperwork three times..... we took the boat, I did not sign all of the pages because it was such a shady deal and did not provide proof of insurance. So we did not provide what the lender required to fund the loan. We too the boat and take the boat to the lake. So this is when we figure out what really wrong with the boat. -The back compartment next to the engine fills with water -the prop cotter pin was missing The boat straps were weather damaged and tore during a drive -the front strap hook weather damaged and tore -the Tac, speedometer, temperature gauge and screws in dashboard were not in properly- nothing to screw into -the lower panel had all wires exposed -The back of the dashboard had wire nuts and on heat sheet shrinks and loose disconnected wires -boat cover did not fit -Bimini top fixtures do not screw on properly and shake/rattle -Pop Rivets loose Bobby lied claiming loan was funded/title transferred after I told him we were returning the boat. I called the potential lender and they confirmed the loan was not funded. **We returned the boat and they refuse to return the down payment for a boat we did not keep.**** BUYER BE AWARE

    We were shopping for a new boat after a bad experience with another dealer. When we arrived Payam walked us around showed us all sorts of different boats. He spent a long time with us even though we were still deciding which brand to go with. We left that day and continued to explore options. A few days we decided that a Centurion boat was the way we wanted to go. Payam was a big part of our decision to buy from Mello he blew us away with all his knowledge of Centurion boats so we could make our choice of which boat was right for us. Sally, the owner, was also awesome and we couldn't be more happy that we choose Mello Marine for our beautiful 2022 RI230 . The process was easy and Payam always kept us up to date on our boat and always answered all our calls. We would definitely recommend Mello if your looking for a boat.

    What can I say about mello marine? They are great ! A nice family owned establishment that cares if your happy purchase and even after they never stop caring. I went in asking questions about boats and ended up getting a great deal on a brand new Four Winn's 190 ! Brandy helped us out, she doesn't give you the salesman vibe. More so you feel a at home and relaxed vibe which is what I like. The manager, he was very informative and straight to the point. He was very cool through out the process as well. After my purchase I had a couple of user errors, I was able to call them up and get answers/ help immediately! If you want to purchase a new and feel great doing so, I'd recommend you check out mello marine !

    Major thumbs up to the entire staff at Mello Marine! They squeezed me in short notice for a maintenance issue and made it happen with the whole team working on it.     ***WARNING***DON'T***GET***RIPPED***OFF*** Ok so I'll…read moreStart with What we Purchased and what we wanted and was supposed to receive and did not receive and why I warn you about getting ripped off. We came to Brothers boats because they were one of the few new Crestliner Dealers around and we wanted a new boat for Multi Species fishing vessel because we Fish mostly the Ca Delta for Black Bass, Striper, Sturgeons and Salmon, But predominantly Black Bass because I am a Tournament Angler that focuses on Black Bass and I Fish at least 1-2 Tournaments each month all over California and other States as well. So we decided to go with The Crestliner 1950 Fish Hawk with a Mercury 175 Verado that runs great so far tops out at around 45mph fully loaded wish it was faster so I should of went Bigger on the motor maybe but after all my Add ones for electronics and all that I was already sitting at almost $70K which is already nuts but this was going to be the Last Fishing Boat I would ever own My retirement present to myself, I've never owned anything like it before I was so happy and couldn't wait. And this is where it all goes down hill from here. I wanted all the top of the line Electronics on the market and It all to pair up to my 36v 112 Minnkota Ultrex with the iPilot capabilities so I went with a (Humminbird Helix G3N 12 Mega + Si) at the console and a (Humminbird Helix G3N 12 Mega + DI) at the Bow upfront with the trolling Ultrex Trolling motor that was supposed to also have the built in Mega + transducer & when the boat was all finally finished we noticed tons of issues. (1.) The Humminbird Helix 12 at the console was not Side Imagine not even Down imagine it was a G1N the oldest and the cheapest and only had gps and 2D capabilities even though they charged us almost $3000 for it and a hefty install fee even though it was the wrong one and they only sell for barely $1k even cheaper now. (2.) Same issue with Humminbird at the Bow the gave us an old Gen 1 model with only 2D Capabilities but yet charged us for the most expensive models on the market so they ripped us for over $3000 at least on those alone. (3.) Trolling motor Was also Gen 1 that only had the old 2D transducer & not the new Mega built in transducer like it was supposed to be. (3.) They didnt network all the electronics together with the iPilot system at all even though we were charged for it & had to pay extra on our own and did it myself, again even though this was all in the final price with all my add-ons. (4.) Never installed the new Mercury Smart Craft Vessel View which was supposed to be installed, so we can't see how many hours is on the boat or anything else, so again this is another added expense we will have to do on our own if we want it even though it was added and charged for. (5.) Bluetooth Stereo never worked & even after multiple repairs never fully fixed still shorts out probably because of inexperienced installation job or installer they have. (6.) Wash Down System Never worked. (7.) Large Livewell insulation falling apart before ever used. (8.) Terrible Installation job on just about everything they touched there at Brothers boats wires are all Clumped up and not cleanly hid away. In my own opinion I think these guys don't know much about Fishing boats and maybe they only focus more on recreational Ski boats Tow boats and such but I still wouldn't trust them on those either at this point because as of today they finally took back 1 of the Humminbirds and gave us a G2N DI Mega which is still not the correct one but they obviously knew they messed up and got all the wrong electronics I they upgraded 1 of them but not even to the correct upgrade we originally wanted and paid for and we still have the old model trolling motor and the wrong Humminbird at the bow. I just wanted what we paid for and originally asked for that's it even though they over charged for everything and charged install fees for stuff they never even installed and charged us for the Latest premium top electronics but gave us the oldest cheapest models available. Now I'm not sure if all this happened because they were scamming us from the get go or trying to over charge and take advantage of us, or if it's just because they have Zero to no knowledge about fishing boats and the electronics that go along with them but they even told me personally that they have never installed Humminbird electronics before that the only depth finders and gps sonar units they have ever installed before was Lowrance units which is strange to hear from a Dealer of Aluminum fishing vessels since Humminbird is one of the most popular electronic system on the market. So until my vessel is corrected and fixed how it was supposed to be I will not be promoting this Dealer but the exact opposite and I will be doing my best to detour business and help someone from making the same mistake of getting scammed or ripped off by this Dealer. So do yourself a favor and steer clear.

We got…read moretired of waiting and went to San Diego and cut a deal and ordered a new boat with a different dealer in about 45 minutes from the time we stepped in the door. Finally,,, Brothers eventually responded with a fuzzy, over the edge price. Brothers were $40.000 to $50.000 higher than other dealers and had no clue on the options nor how to set the boat up. Their heart just isn't in it. Brothers wants to sell out of their lot weary and dated, depleted dealer stock. Forget ordering the boat ya want the way ya want it, it'll never happen with Brothers Boats. The boat we wanted is an all new design. The only way to get one is to order one from the factory. Our new cruiser will be delivered in early May at $50.000 cheaper than Brothers wanted.

    Absolutely the worst service and the staff are complete liars. Not only did they screw up our…read morepaperwork with our bank by putting the incorrect VIN# of the boat trailer (twice) but most recently we took our new boat in for its 20 hour service, due bill and warranty items to get fixed. They had our boat for 1-1/2 months with absolutely zero communication from them and then lied about fixing our warranty issues. At this point I'm not even sure they completed the 20hr. Service that we paid for. Our warranty issues weren't minor, we lost all steering on our 24' pontoon boat out in the middle of the lake due to their original install being improper. Then had the audacity to lie and say they fixed it knowing full well they didn't and putting our family in danger once we launched in the water. I would never recommend anyone to do business with Auburn Outboard Marine.

I was interesting in looking at an RH but I couldn't get a call back. Instead shops in. Washington were the only RH dealers to call me back. I ended up buying a 2023 boulton. Then fast forward to middle of 2023 and I needed my Honda motors serviced. First they were over a month out due appointments and then said I had to drop it off for at least a week, and they'll get to it when they are free. I called Bucks Outboards and they laughed. I brought it in the following week and had it back same day. Fast forward again to July 13th of 2024. I called about a new prop for my Honda kicker. I provided the size and pitch needed as well as exact motor. I was told they had it, so I took the 25 minute drive there. Once there I found out it was the wrong prop. He then looked up the correct one and said he could order and it would take 3-4 days unless in backorder. However he "going to lunch" so he wanted my info and would order it later that day. I asked for a call when it was ordered and he (the owner I'm assuming) said ok. Well it's now July 22nd and I never got a call back. So once again, I called bucks outboards to order the prop. I've heard a few other horror stories from people trying to get service done as well. It's sad, small businesses like this need our support but they just don't want it. Bob is simply out of the loop it appears. I've given this place almost a half dozen chances plus almost 60plus k in cash for a boat. I feel this is an ample amount of opportunities to determine this place had bad service all around. If you need anything serviced on a honda, just use bucks. If you need something installed local, use bucks, Boat MD or better yet take it to Doug Philpott
