The pizzas are consistently great (try an eggplant and feta!) and great, fresh grinders. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly too.

I stopped into Village Pizza this week again and was reminded by the upbeat friendly atmosphere and another fantastic experience that I should really get on it, so here goes.... There is somthing about walking into a local place, feeling welcome and knowing that your order is going to be made the way you like it! We are always searching for great pizza and taziki sauce made perfectly. We found it here! We have never ordered anything we did not enjoy. The owner is kind, welcoming and makes us glad we stopped by. She always has a smile and a little banter while we wait. We see her talking and laughing with all of her customers making them feel at home. The staff have always been polite, accurate and quick with our orders. We don't even live in town anymore but make the drive anytime we are wanting takeout because it's just worth it for the quality, price and friendly service ​ Hungry? You don't really feel like cooking do you? Why not go to Village Pizza? Highly recommend!

The only other options would require a 25 minute drive each way and since we could walk to Countrypie it was a no brainer. The restaurant shares a beat up old building with a hardware store. The building used to be a post office back in the day. If it weren't for the Yelp reviews we probably wouldn't have even walked in based on the looks from the outside. Inside is rustic country looking with a few tables for dining in although it appears most orders seemed to be for take-out based on the continuous line of people picking up orders while we were there. They do offer free Narcan kits and Fentanyl test strips on the counter to take for free should you need them. There's a menu above the counter with lots of options including salads and sandwiches. We decided to order a few items but were told that they are only serving pizza today. I asked which pie they recommend and was told the vegetable special was great so I ordered it and was charged $30 and told it would take 30-40 minutes. The pie was brought to our table in 30 minutes. The toppings were fresh but the crust was not so good, nor was the tomato sauce. It reminded me of a pizza you would get at a bowling alley or a kid's party place.
