I purchased crabs from here a couple of weeks ago and the lady at the register refused to put the crab seasoning on the crabs (I thought that was the idea). I hate a bland crab! I have tried Crab's, crab boils, sauteed crabs, steamed crabs etc... Yes size does matter, but not if they are bland. During the second visit, I was happy the owner was present ( he's nicer). He tried to accommodate me, however I requested female crabs (my preference) and when I arrived home I had male Crab's. Yes ! They were nice and meaty, but tasted like rubber. I was so disappointed, and upset, but at this point I was over it. It's a shame because I had been hankering some Crab's and 3 day's later, I still have the Crabs. I tried to doctor them up but, no bueno! I have purchased Crab's from places I didn't expect to like, and they were better than Captain Greg's! She ordered 24 crabs ($45ish a dozen) and a LB of shrimp. I got my backyard table set up for the fun part of cracking and butter dipping - with some beverages haha. The crabs were HUGGGGEEEEEE. They could cut back on the seasoning because it was salty enough, my friend said that she got it mild and it def had a nice kick to it! There was sooooo much crab meat when we finished filling our bellies and just cracking them to put the meat into a container to save for later. They had a pretty good deal and I am so glad my friend suggested this.
