I purchased crabs from here a couple of weeks ago and the lady at the register refused to put the crab seasoning on the crabs (I thought that was the idea). I hate a bland crab! I have tried Crab's, crab boils, sauteed crabs, steamed crabs etc... Yes size does matter, but not if they are bland. During the second visit, I was happy the owner was present ( he's nicer). He tried to accommodate me, however I requested female crabs (my preference) and when I arrived home I had male Crab's. Yes ! They were nice and meaty, but tasted like rubber. I was so disappointed, and upset, but at this point I was over it. It's a shame because I had been hankering some Crab's and 3 day's later, I still have the Crabs. I tried to doctor them up but, no bueno! I have purchased Crab's from places I didn't expect to like, and they were better than Captain Greg's!
