Steamed crabs are awful, they will give you a bag full of bad crabs so that you will think that crabs are nice and meaty,Don't buy crabs.

Crabs are good, I recommend but are they still in business? The front entrance is blocked and number is not in service.

Had an outstanding experience here -- all I can say is wow. This is an incredibly historic…read morerestaurant that somehow manages to pair its classic atmosphere with truly gourmet food. The staff was excellent throughout the evening and graciously accommodated special requests, which was greatly appreciated. We started with the fried green tomatoes appetizer, and they were fantastic -- huge portion and full of flavor. I ordered the short rib entrée, which was absolutely delicious and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The portion size was generous enough that I couldn't finish it all. Unfortunately, I had no room left for dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you appreciate historic ambiance paired with elevated food and service. Definitely make reservations in advance.

I had the filet mignon & crab cake special, my wife had a stellar off-menu veggie pasta creation, and we both loved seeing GW's and TJ's fingerprints on those 1760s bricks. Tomato bisque (today's special) and french onion soup for starters were both off the hook. The Pinot Noir didn't hurt, either. Honestly, I'm just glad they let us in without powdered wigs. It did not disappoint! It was also nice to meet owner Sue Y. She was great and so was our waiter. Dinner for 2 with tip ran just over $200. We'll be back.

I wish I would have gotten 2 since only 1 piece of fish came on the sandwich. I chose Flounder & it was amazing the staff was friendly also! They gave us free lemonade & sweet tea. We also had the chicken, potatoes & mac n cheese that was good. I will definitely go back when I am in town. Parking was available directly in front of the establishment. .

Both the fried shrimp and the shrimp in the salad were overly cooked. Sorry to say but the seafood salad which is usually my favorite thing to order at seafood restaurants was NOT good, don't waste your money or time. The crab legs were very sizable and full of flavor, I mean it's what you would expect nothing too out of ordinary. I would definitely come back for the crab legs and I saw the blue crabs were $18 for half dozen, which is the most affordable I've found in the city! But the cooked food, I don't think I'll try the shrimp again, I am eager to try the fried fish, hopefully that won't be disappointing. Three stars for me!
