Yum. Espresso latte was smooth and delish - not bitterness. My wife had a salted caramel latte and remarked it was perfect and my son had that chocolate chip cooking, which was as much chocolate as cookie - it was very good as well.

The drinks and snacks are superb. The location is very nice and the atmosphere is relaxing inside and out. There are food trailers surrounding it. Extra parking in the back of the lot. Lots of books and board games.

Service was great! They are really nice people, very patient with you when ordering and kind! Their code is delicious!!! (Better than Starbucks) I will be back here to enjoy it again soon :)))

Cute place! Staff were very friendly and quick. Coffee tasted more milky than actual coffee, but still good. The whip cream was divine!

This has been my favorite coffee shop for the last five years! I live in San Antonio however I love to getaway on the weekends to destress in the beautiful Texas hill country. One of my favorite ways to spend a Saturday is to stop by Johnson City Coffee early in the morning. I get a cold brew and my fur baby gets a puppuccino and we enjoy it on the patio. Then we head to Pedernales Falls State Park for some hiking. If you're ever in the area, stop in! The coffee is superior, the pastries are delectable, and now they even have food trucks next door!

Mooooooooove over any other coffee joint. The milk selection here is great! Anytime we are visiting the wineries we have to make a stop here. Love the coffee, lattes, and selection of beans for sale. The light bites inside and the food trucks outside make this a breakfast brunch option as well. 5/5 we will be back

So I tried their honey pecan latte with oat milk, it's good!!! So maybe just stick to the coffee here.

Hey there! Just wanted to say, that coffee shop we went to earlier was so cute. Not to mention, the restrooms were clean, and the staff were incredibly nice and efficient with everyone's orders. Oh, and that turkey bacon wrap I had was absolutely delicious. Can't wait for our next coffee date!

This seems like a really nice spot. I got the Gus's go-to because creamy + chocolate + hazelnut and I'm sold. It was delicious and I found myself wanting to grab another coffee. Overall, I thought this place was spacious and had delicious coffee. It looks like they use Greater Good Coffee which I love. They even have a section where you can add your own milks (e.g soy, coconut, almond, and regular milk)!! Honestly if you're making the drive through Johnson City, I highly recommend you stop here for some coffee, take a pit stop at their clean bathrooms, & maybe relax a bit on their bench swing outside.

Figured we'd give it a try on our last morning before leaving! Loved how there was free parking on the street. We did have our dog with us, so one of us had to stand outside with him while everyone else ordered, as they only allow service animals inside. Inside, I do feel that they could have done a better job decorating/setting it up. It seemed extremely dated, and for such a highly reviewed spot (meaning food/drinks are good) they should make it more inviting! I will say, the little outdoor dining area is cute. We waited almost 20 minutes for our coffees and biscuits to be ready, which was surprising given that the place was empty inside. Once the food and coffees were ready, it was all pretty tasty! I don't expect to be out that way again any time soon, but if you find yourself in the area and want something small to eat, check this place out!

I bought some nice trinkets for my friends back in Houston for a great price. The courtyard is spectacular; it's filled with little metal sculptures and iron trinkets that really brighten up the outdoor seating. The coffee shop, however, wasn't anything special, and the "grumpy barista" gave me a real hard time over a cup of water, which wouldn't have rubbed me the wrong way if I wasn't paying for a $7 cappuccino and it wasn't 102 degrees outside. Overall an aesthetically lovely place. Really I just have one tip: If I were the barista, I'd learn the difference between being rude and grumpy. You're never too old to learn new things! EDIT: the owner responded back saying nothing on the menu is $7 and that is correct, but I'm not sure why he must have forgotten that add-ins such as almond milk and vanilla syrup (which I got) add on to the drink price. Just wanted to state why my drink was more expensive, and be as "factual" as I can! :)

Well more like everything else on the road didn't look to appealing. Let's get straight to it. The service was great, the bathroom was clean, and the tables were clean. It could use a little update, but that's not what I'm reviewing this time. We had the papas locas, quesabirria, and fajitas chilingas and of course corn tortillas! The basic chips and salsa were brought to the table. The salsa literally tasted like only black pepper. I thought there is no way anyone on purpose puts that much black pepper in a salsa. Maybe an accident? It was inedible. Kinda of scared us with the start. The next dish was good but not good. Let me explain. The papas locas are just fries, with some type of white cheese sauce, guac, meat, and sour cream. It just felt lazy. It needed something to tie it all together. It wasn't until they brought our mains, with the spicy table sauces that it hit. It needs some type of spice, to mellow out the richness and balance and meld it all together. The portion was great for the price. Maybe add jalapeños and you hit something. The mains on the other hand were dang good. Especially the birria. In this world of food trends, the quesabirria is the current star. Most places have their own version, but the top two mistakes, is that the make its either entirely too salty or they don't add enough spice and it feels more like a broth for soup rather than a true consume. This place did neither. The munchkin has never said any birria is as good or better than mine. Well looks like the day came. It was absolutely fantastic! The corn tortillas, spectacular alone, elevated this to the point it's probably in the top three birria tacos I've ever had anywhere! Bravo! The fajitas chilangas were great. But the problems I always have resurfaced from time to time. First, this was cheap bistec, they just seasoned it perfectly. NOT fajita. The chicken was good, and the chorizo and jalapeno were a great new way to have it. The problem is there was neither enough chorizo nor jalapeno to take it to the level of the birria. It was almost good enough, but with the beautifully executed corn tortillas, it was more than adequate for our hunger pangs. The charro beans I asked for were actually undercooked. That is a first for me. They are usually overcooked. They had decent flavor, just needed more time. The table salsas were also good. Just enough spice, and just enough heat. Not salty at all. I work stop by again if I was in the area! We had great dessert, but can't give them credit since it was a third party.
