It's not often you find an owner of a pool company who really knows his business. His father was in the business. He is curious,pays attention to detail and really listens. I have a cracked pool that requires sophisticated decision making.The owner Matt has not only been honest, incredibly perceptive, creative, and acted in my best interest. This is the follow up to my pool surface being ruined by high acid from Johnson Pool Maintenance. The acid was so high it ate the rubber off the wheels of the pool sweep. Just to clarify, the grandkids of the original Johnson Pool folks are taking no responsibility for the damage. The grandkids took over the company in 2025 and appear to have made changes to the business model which resulted in the damage. Nobody from Johnson ever contacted me about the pool sweep or the plaster being ruined because they were charging me $200 per month and never opening the cover. read more

Let me say I have never written a review in my life. The service we received from Johnson Pool and Spa was the most professional, top of the line and above and beyond that I have ever experienced. Clint and his co workers went above anything I would have expected in repairing the cracks in our old pool. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work. We have finally ended our toxic 3 years of having JP&S service our pool equipment. We feel relieved that this abusive relationship is finally over. You know the type. Where you fear leaving because of having to find a new relationship with an unknown company. Things were good for during the early days but signs of trouble were already present whenever we had to deal with JP&S's service department led by Oggie. I only wish we'd been looking at JP&S's other reviews on Yelp reviews. Unsure why this new page exists. Likely was a way to hide all the recent single star reviews on their other Yelp page which highlights the same concerns: low quality service, high prices, and rude technicians. Why did we cancel? A JP&S's technician was told about a sound coming from our pool. Everything worked fine but the slight sound made us nervous. The technician told us the pool was fixed shortly after so we left, only to return to a note saying that in fact he'd broken something so the pool was not working now. The JP&S technician said he was too busy to return but would come the following Friday. After waiting a week with a broken pool, the technician returned and again left after saying the pool was fixed. When we went down to the pool an hour later, we found our sweep's release valve had shattered due to a high pressure event. We called JP&S but as usual nobody answered either of the 3 numbers that we have for JP&S. Two days later, we received an invoice to replace the part but no explanation for what had happened. As usual with JP&S, every attempt to get an explanation was responded with "we don't know what happened but can assure you it wasn't our fault". Yes, that same refrain from all toxic relationships: "It's not me, its you." Save yourself the headache and pain. Find a better pool servicing company. read more

Johnson Pool provide a spectacular pool and service. They have been responsive through the whole process and now the pool works so well everyday is like a tropical vacation. The service crew has been great as well. Exceeded expectations! read more

I want to first say I have never left a yelp review before, but this service was so horrible I need to warn the community... It took me weeks to get a call back. I scheduled to have someone come out and balance my water on my spa, and wanted to watch so I knew how to do it myself but was open to regular weekly balancing through them. the guy came out and showed me how to use the knobs, and that's it. i paid $140 and took off a half day off work for him to show me the knobs... according to Sam (worker), management was aware of this when they booked it a week prior and knew that I wouldn't be getting what I had called to schedule. The worker was extremely rude as well, and acted as if I was in the wrong. He could have started the appointment with letting me know it was coded wrong. Or I could've gotten a call to cancel and reschedule for the right one. Ridiculous... I spoke to management and they did not offer to have someone come out and actually do what I had asked to be scheduled. They couldn't give me my money back, either. I had to wait for billing to call- and billing called me 6 hours later, 1 minute before leaving the office. This place is just a total joke. I ended up scheduling with Diamond Spa who charged me 1/2 the price and ACTUALLY did what I needed, scheduled me the following day, and were soooo helpful. I highly recommend them! read more

I wanted to provide YELP readers an update with my experience with Johnson Pool & Spa. They did complete the service to everyone's satisfaction. The reason for the 3 star rating is due to the following. 1) Johnson Pool and Service claims that they did return my phone calls after three days and left voice mail. Well, ok. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. My issue is that it was three days later and after many many calls. 2) Johnson and Pools is asking that I remove the review. They claim that their phone system was not working, and then claimed that I called the wrong service number. It was my fault Funny, because I was transferred to the service dept. by an employee each time I called. And, every time I reached a voicemail. For anyone contacting Johnson Pool and Spa this is how it works to schedule a service call. Again, YELP provides a great resource and service to us regular folks. I hope this follow up helps others decide what business to depend on when needing servicing for their pool or spa. read more
