The shop has outstanding rare and beautiful plants. Owner was very nice and helped me pick out a plant. Their prices tho are so overpriced it's literally insane. A four leaf Monstera Albo for over $100 is crazy. I bought a fully grown stunning Monstera albo 3 feet tall for under that somewhere else. Unless you have endless money to burn this place is not worth it. read more

We went to visit Botanyzhi and had an amazing time. The store is absolutely gorgeous! The vibe and decor made it feel as if you were in a home filled with plants! It is so warm and inviting. Botanyzhi carries a lot of different varieties of houseplants. From indoor to rare tropicals. The owners are so friendly and caring and really pride themselves on customer service. They are more than happy to answer any questions and also give tips for care. They also showcase local artisan's which goes to show how supportive they are with the local artist community. I cannot recommend Lewis highly enough. His customer service is second to none. He does welfare checks even long after I've purchased my plants. He offers suggestions and advice on how I can best care for my plants. He cares about the customer, and values honest business relationships above transactions. He is always available to answer questions, and has gone above and beyond to be accommodating. The quality of the plants he sells is very important to him. He ensures root health with all his top tier cuttings. Any time I've asked for a particular rare plant that I don't see in store, he has materialized it for a great price. We absolutely love this place! So much to the point that we drive 1.5 hours every couple weeks to come here. They have everything from your common houseplants to your rare and ultra rare. Their window display is the sexiest thing I've ever seen. The owner, Lewis, is so nice and knowledgable and if you're looking for a specific plant, ask because he probably has it. We've bought the most plants from here and I'm talking about rare plants. His plants are in such amazing condition and you can see the care that is put into them. I wanted to buy a nice plant for my friend so I went online to see their hours which states that they are open till 6pm, so I drove downtown to see their selection. Instead I find that the store was closed and it's 3:40 p.m. it says they close at 6pm online AND on their door. Very frustrated and disappointed I thought maybe they stepped out for a second?? I give them a call to be told that they decided to close early and that they had posted it on their Instagram page... I live in San Francisco but often come to Santa Rosa. I had an apt. a couple doors down from Botanyzhi today. I've noticed the store in the past but have never gone in because I don't get a lot of sun in my apartment. I love houseplants and hoped I could find one for dark spaces. I am so glad I went in that gorgeous store. Kelli was just opening up and was so sweet to me. She's very knowledgeable and gave me so much information on how to properly care for plants. I'm so excited to be able to grow plants in my home. I'll be buying grow bulbs soon. Such a great experience! I bought two little plants today but will definitely be back. The owner of this store is a scam artist with no integrity. He conned me and my husband into paying over $500 for an unmarked and untagged plant that we were not interested in purchasing. I would give this place zero starts if I could. My children and I went into this store on a Saturday morning and when they became a little too excited we tried to carry them out of the store. But, my 2 year old son accidentally pulled a small piece from a leaf on a hanging plant. The owner of the store became hysterical and started screaming at me about how I couldn't control my children. I immediately offered to purchase the plant as a means to make a mends. He told me that the plant cost $550 and continued to verbally berate me. It seemed ridiculous that the plant didn't have a price tag on it but somehow now cost an incredible amount of money. I asked the owner for a discount, given the ridiculousness of the situation - he refused. As the owner took my credit card, he continued to yell at me and blamed me for the situation. When I left the store with the plant, the owner didn't bother to provide me with the name of the plant nor any instructions on how to care for it. For this plant being supposedly so valuable, you'd think that it could have come with basic care instructions. read more
