Our 5th wheel had exterior panel damage from going where we shouldn't have (horrible entrance spur off a Delta waterway berm). I have a trusted RV technician who recommended Johnson for the repairs. I was put in touch with Ben from Johnson's collision department. I sent in pictures and the requested information to Ben. He got back to me the next day with an estimate. The estimate was reasonable considering the damage. The biggest delay was waiting for the parts to arrive from Jayco, but once they arrived, the repairs were completed within a week. The repairs were perfect. Ben was a superstar in his professionalism. His politeness/respect, and attention to detail were refreshing. I was kept abreast of the progress throughout. Ben completed the insurance interactions beyond my expectations. Give Ben a raise! read more

We purchased a brand new RV from Johnson RV in July 2025, and the most significant issues have been how our unit was handled while in their possession for warranty service. What should have remained a new RV has instead become a materially compromised unit due to negligent handling and repeated service-related issues while at their facility. Problems began during the walkthrough due to improper handling. Since then, the RV has repeatedly been in and out of service for warranty issues including the door, plumbing, wall panels, and electrical components. A pattern developed where repairs were marked complete when they were not, and additional damage occurred while the RV was being serviced, including flooring and siding damage. This negligent handling of our new unit has negatively affected the value, condition, reliability, and safety of the RV. In one instance, damage was attributed to us until before-and-after video evidence showed it occurred while the RV was in their possession. The RV has also been stored outdoors for months due to ongoing repairs as a result of their negligent care of the new RV, enduring heavy storms while awaiting service, despite us having purchased covered storage to protect our new RV. The RV has been out of our possession for over 40% of the time since purchase, resulting in canceled trips and significant loss of use. Due to repeated service-related damage and incomplete repairs, it no longer reflects the new unit we purchased. We are still awaiting a response from Johnson RV for a fair resolution. We do not recommend this company based on our experience. read more

These people are either totally inept or they are liars and cheats. I purchased a vehicle from them and they were more concerned in "teaching" me how to use the awning than in telling me that the company which made the lithium battery had gone out of business the year before. I left the vehicle with them many days on several occasions before they finally blamed me for the problem. I even bought the extended warranty which they refused to help me recoup my costs. They never did diagnose the problem. I had to take it to another repair shop. It is now fixed, no thanks to the incompetence of Johnson RV. Avoid them for sales and/or repairs. Again, it's either gross negligence, total incompetence, or shyster salesmen. The owner also refused to honor the extended warranty. They should have been aware of the issues with the unit. If they weren't, they should have helped me get it fixed. They did neither. read more

Absolute waste of time. Lazy finance department and terrible communication.I had a highly specific, complex financing scenario that required a dealership willing to actually do some desk work. I am an existing member with Oregon Community Credit Union (OCCU) looking to trade in my 2022 Coachmen Catalina trailer (which has negative equity) and purchase a camper van. Knowing my 670 credit score was an obstacle for a zero-down loan on my own, I brought a highly qualified cosigner with a pristine 780 credit score and absolutely ZERO personal debt.The finance department at Johnson RV seemed eager at first. They chose to run numbers on a brand-new 2026 Winnebago Travato, explaining that the high MSRP discount was the perfect structural loophole to get the credit union to approve the full negative equity rollover. They collected all of our sensitive personal information and pulled hard credit inquiries on BOTH of our credit profiles.Then, the communication completely died. After waiting nearly 24 hours into the next day with zero updates, I called back to get a status check. The receptionist accidentally routed me to a sales floor line that immediately disconnected. When I finally got an answer, I found out that the finance manager simply "didn't like what they saw" on our profiles and decided to sit on the file. They didn't even bother submitting the application to OCCU or any other bank on the CUDL platform.They tanked our credit scores with hard inquiries for literally nothing because they were too lazy to pick up the phone and manually pitch a joint application to a live credit union underwriter. If you have a straightforward, perfect application where they can make an easy, effortless commission, they might look at you. But if your deal requires actual effort, a human touch, or standard credit union structuring, they will trash your credit and ignore you. Took our data, damaged our scores, and didn't do their jobs. Disgraceful. read more

Do not go there for service. Wasted a week of my time, got absolutely nothing - no quote, no estimate, zero work was done. The service tech told me that I should have "decided what I wanted before dropping it off." I said I did decide and had sent a link of the part to multiple different people there (in text and email) prior and after dropping it off but I had wanted to get some ideas if there are better options available. I had specifically stated I wanted to talk through with someone when I initially called and I was told I had to make an appointment and drop it off to have it reviewed in order to discuss with a tech. So dropped it off and didn't receive an update or call for 5 days (when I had been told 24 hours) despite my checking in. The tech said "we can't help with you deciding on options, we don't know anything about that. You should just go online to a forum to figure out what you want." Which again - I had already done but figured maybe the RV SERVICE PLACE would have some additional advice or support about what to get to meet my needs before I purchase an expensive part. Tried to purchase a RV here received a quote and then they passed me off to another salesman that then came back with a higher selling price to the tune of $7,000 higher, oh boy, and honestly they were about $10,000 higher than the quotes I received from other dealers. Then received a email and phone call stating the unit had been signfically reduce oh boy another mistake it wasn't even the same unit we were dealing on!! We recently purchased a new 2024 Entrada M-Class from Johnson RV in Medford, OR. Although we could have purchased this motorhome much closer to our home in Washington State, we elected to drive 300 miles to Medford because of the outstanding service provided by the RV Outfitter, Brent Espinosa. As potential new motorhome owners, we had a lot of questions. Every time we called Brent, he either provided us with accurate answers or, if he didn't know the answer, he found it out and quickly got back to us. Since we bought the motorhome sight unseen, Brent even made and sent us a video of the Entrada, which highlighted the areas we were focused on. His exceptional dedication to customer service enabled us to make informed decisions leading to our purchase. I found a class C Motorhome on RV Trader that we were looking for. Closer examination revealed the coach had theater seats instead of the booth dinette. This was not the floor plan we wanted. However viewing the coach must have alerted Johnson Rv and I received a call from a salesman asking if I was interested in this particular coach. I told him the floor plan did not work for us but if there was another coach on one of their lots please let me know. The next day the salesman contacted me and said they would be able to get the parts for the booth dinette from the manufacturer and install them, and it should take a few weeks. We were closing escrow on our house in a few weeks and time was a big factor, so we drove 644 miles to Fife Washington the next day to see the coach. The salesman there (Chase Kodama) was awesome but said the modification and actual sale of the coach would be done at the Medford location. The next day we drove to Medford and met with the original salesman and the sales manager. During our time at both locations we looked at several other coaches and decided the original coach was the only one that fit the bill. Our only concern was the timeline for getting the modification done so both the salesman and sales manager told us they would establish a solid timeframe from both manufacturer and service department the next day. We left the dealership and drove home thinking we had found the coach we wanted and were soon to purchase it. The next day came and went, no call. The day after that I called them, no answer so I left a message, no call back. The following day I called and got a different salesman that said he remembered us and would have the original salesman or sales manager call us asap. No call, it's been four days no call. We spent two days, gas money, meals and a hotel to see and hopefully purchase a coach we will need soon to live in and the sales team at Johnson RV can't even be bothered to call us back. You read how dealerships are great on the front end of a sale and terrible once you take possession. Here's a dealership where the sale team doesn't give a sh*t! How do you think their service department will be? We are obviously moving on, what a waste of time and money. F#$k you Johnson RV, but thanks for showing us your true colors before we gave you over $200,000.00 of business you surely don't deserve. read more

Over the years I have purchased a few RV's. I've had some good experiences and some I rather forget. I can honestly say my purchase this week at Johnson RV was by far the best. From the moment I got out of my car a friendly Dan Edland greeted me. I wanted to look at a specific model they had and Ed was able to give me some highlights as we walked. It was as though we were looking together, no sales pressure. I really appreciate the "family" feeling at Johnson RV. We quickly settled the purchase price and the trade in value of my trailer. I have confidence that the other departments will welcome me and help with all my questions. I am very critical about customer service and the interaction with the public.
