family bought a 32 foot trailer for me to live in. Nice big windows. On my own I replaced mattress and toilet. LP Refrigerator stopped working and I replace it with a 12 volt Norcold. I had to run an 8 gauge wire directly to the battery since it was not happy to share with the furnace since it was a bit of a voltage drop when blower starts up. Bryson and Brandon did an awesome job on installation. Should run separate circuit for refrigerator on future jobs. read more

3 weeks ago, I gave em 5 stars. Now, it's crap. It turned into that when: The check engine light came on. (Sales Mgr Cole said "Don't worry about it...blah blah.) We drove away and after 20 minutes, the refrigerator stopped working. When we reached Vacaville, CA, it was 9PM. Tried to turn the headlights on. NO HEAD LIGHTS!!! We left it at a hotel for 3 days, drove back in another vehicle 1 hour 10 min south of there to get home. Came back in 3 days and couldn't fix the headlights. So, my wife and I had to drive "Blnd" on 880 with the "Day Lights" on only (very dim), and hazards on. No dash lights. Scary, darker than usual....endangered our lives. I was promised a service report 3 times the week we arrived back from Oregon. Never came. Passed of to GM Justin. He said feel free to take the RV to a RV place there in Calif. We'll cover the cost. Asked him to put it in writing. Emailed him 4 times. Never replied. Called him. Never called back. Rick Markell the Sales guy kept saying, "Yeah, we treat you like family...family!" Do not consider getting warranty work done here if you did not buy the trailer from them or maybe don't even buy a trailer from them. Prior to bringing the trailer in I asked if they were one of those dealers that had to have sold the trailer to work on it and they assured me they were not. Fast forward to my first issue a roof leak (which was ultimately under warranty). They said roof leaks were rarely covered and they couldn't be sure but I could book a service appointment 6 weeks later. Really? A roof leak is not under warranty, how is this possible? My original dealer fixed it in 15 minutes and got me in the follow week. My second issue was with my awning falling off because there was only one of 6 screws installed to keep it from coming off. They apparently made the repair which I only found out about after calling them 3 days later. Randy told me it was not under warranty and told me I would be responsible for it. When I inquired as to why, he hung up on me. After calling him back to ask why he made a repair that wasn't under warranty he told me that "he had no skin in the game" because he didn't sell me the trailer and avoided an answer. He told me to pick the trailer up and they would eat the cost. WOW! When I picked the trailer up, the tech would not give me a receipt for the work "they did for free" apparently sealing and re-drilling something "for free" does not generate a receipt. The awning looked exactly the same to me, no added screws. I had to get the GM to finally agree to giving me a receipt (which did exist). He was a jerk as well. Tried to silence me and mansplain why he was in the right. Makes sense as bad customer service and behavior trickles from the top down. The GM told me to never come back to them again. Gladly! In sum, I would stay far away from this place certainly for repair. I would also suggest buying a trailer elsewhere. Both All RV Needs and Blue Dog RV in Medford are very willing to do warranty repair. read more

My motor home is now in new hands , I pick it up and took it to the buyer's home.It only took them a few weeks to put in a new motor for the slide. I was going to show the buyer how things work . Noticed that the slide was sticking out 2" on one end and 3" at the other end, going in there where shop rags around and a piece of molding on the floor. Returned to the shop the service did not even take the time to go out to have a look. Next aftrenoon got a call "It's ready" and some of the lights still did not work. Went back the next day , this time ask for the manager and after 30 mn was told " his real busy.The employe came out to the RV and found out that the solar pannel wire was not connected . I went in a year and a half ago and picked out a camper. It appeared taken care of and kept out of weather when not used. I was treated so good. two months later fridge went out. I was told by a RV specialist that it was obviously hooked up to work for a short time and I needed a new one. Ok, so I am sure that happens. My thermostat went out and I went there to ask for some help on a compatible thermostat. The woman at the counter asked what kind it was and I was not sure but I had purchased it there maybe they have that information? She said, "Well if you don't know I can't help you, it's not like we have a big book of knowledge here of what we used in your RV. " Now I have an electrician telling me the wiring is all messed up and done wrong! This place treated me great when they took my 20,000.00 in cash. Don't go here. They ONLY want your $$ after they get it you no longer matter. The lady at the counter is very unpleasant and seems to be bothered and will talk to you like you're ignorant. I need to add that I called and spoke to a sales manager as when I bought it was marked for 15,000. When I went in to sign the price changed to 20,000. Because it was marked what they paid for it and if they sold it to me then the salesperson would not make any $$. I had a lot rented and needed this R.V so I paid it. The manager told me today! "Yeah your story doesn't sound right to me No one in their right mind would pay 5,000 more." I DID ! So now I am someone that's not in my right mind. WOW! He basically said I was a liar not in my right mind. I promise you do not want to do any business with here. Do yourself a favor and go on Facebook and ask locals for good places. read more

I want to start out by saying I write frequently for Trip Advisor and sometimes for Yelp. I always work hard to find something good in what I'm reviewing so for me to do a 1-2 star review is extremely rare. I reserve that rating for only very poor service. But this one gets just the 1 star. So this happened. Last October we visited this place and walked through a trailer we really liked. We live 4 hours away so returned home to think about it through the winter. To our delight, on Jan 6 we learned it was still available - we had sent them an email on their website and got a response back by voicemail on my cell phone from Chad on January 6. We responded with letting them know it was our intent to return to their facility in February after we returned from a trip. He called again at the end of January, leaving a voicemail on my cell phone asking when we would visit and we said we hoped to get there soon. Finally, at the end of February we were able to do the 4 hour trip again so my husband called Chad directly and made an appointment to see the trailer - March 2 at 1pm. Meanwhile, I received two emails from Chad requesting that my husband go through him at the facility for this trailer. So note this: he had our home phone, my cell phone, and my email address from several communications. We left our home on March 2 and did the 4 hour drive to Grants Pass. As soon as we arrived in Grants Pass, we entered Affordable RV where Chad walked across the parking lot to us and said, "We sold it this morning." !!?? Now, we have no issue with them selling it. We had made no deposit - just multiple calls and emails expressing interest in seeing it again. But we had an appointment to see it, and his knowledge that we were coming quite a ways to meet with him so, without any word from him, we assumed it would be there when we got there. When we called him on it - "Why didn't you call us??" "We drove 4 hours to get here!" he didn't take responsibility, instead he backpedaled, saying he didn't have our contact information - seriously?? - it was uncalled for and completely irresponsible. We went straight over to the manager and expressed our discontent - to his credit, he was understanding. But this incident soured us for any future business with this company - and rattled our faith in integrity. Really bad form. read more

My wife and I walked around the lot for almost an hour while no one asked us anything. No hello, how are you, etc. I went into the office area and a guy was at the counter and said that he couldn't help me but someone else could. When he came back to me after trying to find someone he said that they were too busy to help us. We even stayed an extra 30 minutes waiting around because we wanted to buy one of their trailers, Same story. So we loaded up, went to Medford and bought a similar trailer at Blue Dog RV which was very nice and imagine this, we were greeted by a friendly salesman when we got out of our car. They had a better selection over there and beat Affordable's price by a few thousand. I understand things get busy. I understand that the process of purchasing a trailer takes a while, you guys need to hire more people then. You also need to hire people that have some element of customer service as well. A friend of ours liked our trailer a lot and asked where in town did we buy it? I told them to go to Blue Dog, which they did and now have a trailer from there. read more

I bought a travel trailer the first of May 2021and the AC worked for 2 weeks then quit working, the AC is under warranty, I called to get it fixed, it now July 2021 and it hasn't been fixed yet! Absolutely the worst service ever. We had to make an appointment in August 2020 to bring or motorhome in which we bought from them 2 years prior for September, understandable. We brought it in, went over the the concerns with the Service Manager. Waited a month and no contact. We called and had to go over everything again because they were unsure and forgot our Motorhome was there. I had to take time off work to go back in to show everything. We waited another month and the same result of " now what were we doing" was the response. November now! I felt something was off and wanted my motorhome back and saw it parked on the shop side of Redwood hwy 199 for another 3 weeks. Called again on December and was told the fires in Phoenix caused everything to be delayed, totally understandable. No call back in January and finally had to get it because we always had to initiate communication. We were charged for winterizing, which wasn't necessary in September, we were charged for 2 battery disconnects, only 1 was installed and the main battery cant be disconnected because it hits the A/C line. We were charged to repair a blind that only goes a quarter way up now. We were charged for a bathroom repair they didn't repair. We were charged for an inverter install in the wrong location. We were told the exhaust problem coming in to the motorhome is because the pipe isn't long enough and Affordable RV sold it to us? I work in vehicle repair and have never experienced anything like this company has done. My wife just called today 2/24/21 to check on the Awning part that was ordered on the same previous visit and was told "what part." Worst repair facility ever. Don't go. read more

I read online how happy people were with this place and how "quick and professional" this place was when installing hitches. I called to get a hitch installed and some male told me he has no interest in installing them. He was very rude about it and told me I have to go to "Rogue Valley muffler and hitch". I told him people online reviewed how good affordable did on hitch installation. Again, I was met with a rude answer. I will never even drive onto this lot. About a year ago now I bought a fithwheel from them Bob was my sales men! I was so excited I had been going through some really bad stuff at the moment was forced to down size to a trailer due to my situation. I was told how grate this place is an that they really take care of you so of course I went there! So after meeting Bill an explaining my situation (an I'm aware they are salesmen) he told me don't worry were gonna take care of you an make sure we get you the best an all that wonderful stuff they tell you! So as we looked around I found one that I loved an absolutely had to have!! There were some issues with smell an electrical but they said it would all be taking care of it will be in the shop for 2 weeks to be fixed of ANY issues!!! So the day of the walk through there was still the issue of the smell bill said I promise it will be gone when it's delivered. Mind you this is my first time EVER buying anything like this I had no idea what to be concerned about when buying an bill promised everything would be fine k owing I knew nothing about trailers. So the day it's delivered my 3 kids an myself were so excited to finally have a space of our own again. As soon as I walked in there was that smell again. There were some other little issues as well so I called right away to tell them about it an to tell them that my blank tank was full!! They kept pushing to the next person n the next person bill never talked to me again an has not returned one of my calls so after talking to the manager they offer to have my carpets washed for a 3rd time cause that's what they said the smell was an it absolutely was not! So I said I didn't need the carpet washed I need the smell figured out so they told Me to have the blank tank dumped. So I did an have multiple times the smell has never gone away the windows ALL THE WINDOWS leaked first rain ruining the wallpaper called they did NOTHING 2 weeks ago was filling my Grey tanks an water started pouring everywhere under the trailer an my water wouldn't work!! N my pump always made noise when I wasn't using the water I was told it normal from them come to find out that's not it means I have a leak n have since day 1. So 2 days ago they finally send someone out to look at it all my tanks are cracked an broken me an my kids have had no running water to use for 2 weeks an I was told when the guy left that came to look at it that someone from affordable auto n rv would call me later that day possibly the next morning I get no phone no surprise there so I call an they have told they don't know if they can help me but if I want to pay to have it towed there they will take a look!!!! I'm so hurt an blown away I see all these great reviews so I truly am soo confused as to why my experience has been NOTHING BUT HORRIBLE. We are new to Grants Pass. This RV Mobile Repair is outstanding. Dave the Tech was courteous, knowledgeable, clean, punctual and, most of all, honest. He could have really gouged us for what we thought we needed, a new converter, which he ordered for us. He assessed on site that it was just a loose wiring issue and only charged for the labor to fix. All work performed was extremely professional. He even gave some recommendations of small things we can purchase locally, such as water pressure regulator and filters to prevent problems that can arise. When he wasn't able to make an appointment due to a family emergency, the company contacted us right away to let us know. This is a terrific company to work with! read more

The service was awful. I bought 4 batteries less than a year before. Going on a trip I stopped in for a not holding charge issue. No customers in the store and the four counter people could not be bothered. One man finally said "we can give you a appointment in two weeks" don't you have a tech to check it now, I'm leaving on a trip. Without even checking with service he said, "no sorry you can come back in two week. I I bought four new batteries my self. This is a very poor customer service. This place is unbelievable. No support after purchasing a brand new Toyhauler .They do nothing for you if the Manufacturer doesn't agree, even if they see the problems right in front of them. Sent me home with a trailer cap full of cracks and never said a word. I had to find them accidentally while checking to see if they had re-caulked another area. After calling them on it Rusty said they weren't going to work on the trailer anymore. Thanks Rusty you should be very proud of yourself. read more

Update: I've included pictures of the $800+ stove job they did. The bottom drawer of my cabinet does not close anymore because of the stove they installed. They literally drilled a piece of scrap wood through my counters to hold the stove. There's a gap a couple inches from the back of the stove to the counter now. Oh and also the actual stove does not open without rubbing against my top drawer and then it gets jammed and doesn't open all the way unless you completely take the drawer out. I'm less than thrilled obviously because they have taken no steps to remedy this situation. I'm in contact with a couple other customers who have said that affordable truck and Rv has also done similar slap jobs on their RVs and we plan on exposing them so no one else has to go through what we have! read more

Have nothing to say but very positive things about the staff and the service. We experienced electrical problems on our RV due to plugging into a bad power post at a terrible campground on the Central Oregon coast..... Called on our way driving south on I5. Were told to come on in. Took us in right away to work on our RV. Made us and our two dogs comfortable in their waiting room while they diagnosed the problems, did what they could so we could get home and told us what parts were most likely required. We would have had them do the repairs but the parts would taken several days to get them. Howard is the best and the service manager Rusty is fantastic. read more

Two years ago I bought my trailer from affordable truck RV on July 3rd and took delivery on it July 10th the sales team was great worked with us got a great little payment and I felt like they went above and beyond and even threw in an extra $500 on our down payment because they went $10 over my desired payment. If affordable truck RV was only a dealer and not also a service department I would be given them five stars, the service department is their downfall. The hot water side of my bathroom sink developed a leak, took it to the service department several times and they stopped the leak for about a week and then it started again not even ordered seals from them and installed them myself which did not stop the leak. My wife contacted them and Rusty told her to tell him what all we needed and they would send us the parts on them. After several times of trying to reach them myself and her, my wife finally reached Rusty and he told her to go buy the parts herself. In the end I bought a $10 faucet from Walmart and alleviated my problem read more
