    Water leak

    I purchased the extended warranty and have now taken my van in three times for a leak that is still unresolved. Each time, I was told they could not find the issue--even though the leak is obvious. At one point, they claimed it must have been fixed when they "tightened things," but the leak is still present. They also replaced the battery relay, but when I picked up my van the battery was dead and the AC had been left running. Since then, the battery drains very quickly whenever I run off the house battery. After speaking with DM Vans, I learned they were extremely concerned that the solar system was repeatedly charging the van only for the AC to immediately drain it again--an issue that may have been going on for a long time without my knowledge. On top of that, the AC unit has now been hit and is falling down. I have been trying to reach a manager for three weeks, with multiple promises of call-backs, but I've received no resolution and no return calls. This has been a deeply frustrating experience. Between the unresolved leak, the battery/AC issues, and the lack of communication, I feel let down and very concerned about the quality of service and accountability.

When I walked in a very nice young man asked what he could do for me and escorted me back to the service after listening intently. The service guy was outstanding and very knowledgeable. Not one person seemed to care that I did not get my RV there or that I may or may not be there for anything other than advise. There was nothing in it for them, but they took the time, made suggestions on possible issues and solutions. Answered what I am sure are questions only a novice would ask, without making me feel silly. I ended up ordering a small fan for my fridge. When I got back to the RV I followed the other suggestions and we were able to correct the issue with a very minor tweak. Good on you Funtimes....

We bought it from out of state without seeing it, so all the paperwork was done by email/mail. Communication was lacking on the back end, after we had agreed on a price. The paperwork came from Haugen RV, which was odd; no one told me it would come from someone other than Funtime. They also sent all the paperwork to the incorrect address, despite my written instructions with correct address, which took a week or so to figure out. They required that we send full payment based on a one page purchase order with no details as to their obligations to inspect, clean, etc. and before providing any report from the "pre-delivery inspection." They said this was standard procedure, but I thought it seemed strange. I would prefer to know if something turned up on the inspection and to know what each party is agreeing to before sending full payment. More troubling was the filthy condition in which the trailer was delivered to us. The salesperson at Funtime stated by text: "Its in very good shape needs a detail which we will do and a pre delivery inspection." The Haugen general manager who handled the purchase paperwork also confirmed it would be cleaned before shipping. However, it arrived with dirt on the floor and in the drawers/cabinets and smudges and cobwebs on the walls. The bathroom was particularly dirty (see photos). The exterior was also in need of a good scrubbing as the trailer had been stored outside. I emailed the manager to let her know we were disappointed that it was not detailed as promised before delivery (or at least given a basic cleaning!!) and did not receive a response. Spending a weekend cleaning out the previous owner's grime wasn't supposed to be part of the deal. It certainly left us with a bad impression of this dealership.

First I did order the rebuild kit but just couldn't get the unit out from where Winnebago buried her. The expected 2 hour R&R took an extra 5 hours bc of some baffling wiring problem between the fuse box and the unit. Ordinarily I'd prob be upset but being able to comfortably watch the whole thing through a picture window into the workshop from their high quality recliner massage chair made it enjoyable. It was clear someone was actually working non-stop to get the fix. Mechanic James was diligent but still needed the experienced assist of both owner Jim and his son Mike crawling under to help figure out just what was needed. While in the waiting lounge, Jim stopped by with fresh donuts for my wife and me, the only occupants. How many CEO's provide that personalized level of thoughtfulness? Also received cheerful and helpful scheduling from receptionist Sandy. On top of all that, Jim held to the original price quote he emailed me 6 months ago (April 2025)!! Would not have objected to any reasonable adjustment for all the extra time and some parts too. Sincerely appreciate all this team did. This whole op restored my faith in humans after living under the insanity of a certain politician.

The price was high but the truck looked to be in good condition based on pictures. The truck had close to 200k miles on it so I wanted to get it checked out by a reputable diesel mechanic. I gave them a deposit to hold the truck and I proceeded to look for the closest shop that could do the inspection. My wife and I called Gresham Ford dealership 3 times without a call back. I ended up scheduling the pre-purchase inspection for for the following Tuesday at 9:45AM at Landmark Ford only 20 miles away. I immediately notified the salesman, Brett, of the scheduled inspection, time, day and location. The salesman offered to drop it off the night before the inspection. Zero issues with date, time, and location was communicated to me at that time. Fast forward 1 week to the evening before the inspection and the salesman conveniently notified me that they would not be able to take the truck in due to "insurance" reasons. But offered to take it to a mechanic that they found. Conflict of interest? I disagreed with the way the situation was handled and the extremely late notice. I requested my $500 deposit back which they told me that its been off the market for a week and its not refundable. The CL ad was up and unchanged the entire time, so it wasnt off the market. Then the manager called me over the phone, and treated me very disrespectfully. I was attempting to explain the situation and he told me to "spit it out" and that "I guess you cant afford the truck". If you are looking for an honest place to do business, with respectful people, look elsewhere.

    August Portland, Oregon I bought a brand new 2021 Astoria 2903BH, paid cash…read more Got totally ripped off on the "Extended Warranty" (If you by the extended warranty, we come to you!) and the salesman "Dwayne" was a ghost as soon as the cash was handed over albeit he "promised to be with me long after the sale". No such thing as "we come to you". A flat out lie that cost me $3,500.00. Nothing but problems, a slew of them, and for 8 months have been trying to get these people to fix my coach to which I've been told repeatedly to "bring it into the shop". Before I bought the coach, I told them I was disabled and was going to live in it. If anything was to go wrong I wouldn't be able to bring it to them. That's when the lie started about the extended warranty. Luckily I had 2 family members with me who witnessed it. The service department needs a new name: "Won't Return Your Calls or Emails Department" So it's only been 8 months and I : Have no water. Leaks in the roof and system. Have no heat or air conditioning. The system turns on BOTH and won't shut down for about 15 minutes after you try to turn it off. No way to cook. Propane lines have leaked since day one. Refrigerator and freezer handles broke the first month. No replacements so far. The rear levelers will not function in hot weather. Surround sound system has never worked from day one. Black tank will not drain. Even though there is nothing in my gray tank...the on board system says it's 3/4 full. Fireplace frame is coming out. The ONLY thing that works is the electricity. Man, that's a LOT of money ($39,000.00) for 4 walls and electricity. Oregon Attorney General here I come. Avoid these people like the plague.
