Dick Hannah Ford - Cracked radiator

After spending around 140,000 at a local ford dealer - our contractor company got two new 2024…read moree-350 KUV vans. The disappointment hit when after over 18k miles and 9-10 months of ownership the brake pads disintegrated. Sandy told us the calipers , pads, and rotors were toast on the front end. While it was there I mentioned it had a leak since the day we bought it. We were charged 220$ for a diagnoses - for them to tell us the brakes were bad and there was no evidence of a leak. After some suspect comments from the service guy "Steven" (Ford wanted 2400$) - I decided to have the van brought to a reliable, trustworthy shop. They did the brakes for cheaper, installed better pads with 24k miles or 3 year warranty. AND they did not need to replace the calipers. When the van arrived at the alternate shop the office guy called me with news that my radiator was cracked. So after replacing the brakes I took it back to ford to have the radiator replaced under warranty. After two full days of the truck being back at ford it is not done. Should be a 3-5 hour job. The radiator should've been ordered prior to the appointment when I sent photo evidence of the truck having a cracked radiator. At this point I'm about to go buy a Chevy!

If you are looking for a SLIMY car dealership, this is the place for you!!…read more We had communicated with Chris Young regarding a specific car for several days, drove 300 miles to purchase it, only to be met with a rude and temper tantrum salesman. After being insulted and never even offered to see the car we walked out. In 20/20 hindsight, we have reasoned that they had someone else willing to purchase the vehicle at a higher price, as it is no longer on their website. Nothing but SLIMY!! I wouldn't even give them a 1 star if it wasn't necessary to post this.

Both were incredibly easy to work with, professional, straightforward and no B.S., which I really value. The negotiation phase was easy, and was mostly done via email as I live 3.5 hours away in Washington state. Having never bought a car from out of state like this, I was nervous about negotiating a proper price on both the car I wanted and my trade-in. Cody and Nick made this process so easy and transparent, I never felt like I was out of my depth or getting anything less than perfect clarity about what we were doing. When I arrived the next day to buy the car, there were a couple of little issues that I had (I'm picky) with the car, and despite my trade having a couple of issues I hadn't thought to disclose (sorry about the curb rash on the wheels!) they worked with me to make sure I was happy with the car and the price before I left, even having it washed again right before I was ready to go. All this to say, I've bought a ton of cars in my life, I'm a car guy, and I'd go back to this dealership with no hesitation if they had a car I was interested in, and I'd ask to work with Cody and Nick again. Great guys. Beyond that, everyone else I interacted with at the dealership: the guy that washed the car (didn't get his name), the finance person (Angelina?), etc. were also super nice. I know this review is glowing, so if you doubt my objectivity with my reviews of car dealerships, see my review of Armadillo Auto.

Johnson RV Sandy - RV Repair

Reposting: Terrible communications, does not return phone calls or emails (personnel, management or…read morecustomer care). Chips and damage to brand new RV not disclosed by salesman after requesting inspection. Sales Manager used the F word in describing how badly salesman messed up. Manager was arrogant and argumentative. Hidden extra costs and fees after agreeing to have none. No follow through on spare wheel/tire/carrier. No follow through on missing items in the RV. Manufacturer rebate not applied for by JRV even after they said they did (twice). They messed up the registration and title as our RV would have been titled in another buyer's name. No battery test report received as promised. Incorrect information from finance manager on theft prevention program. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Their "Mission and Values" statements are a joke. Update: In addition to the above: All tires were overinflated and one inside dually tire was completely flat. After one month, the EcoFlow power station needed to be replaced. Now, (have not even used the van yet) half our interior lighting does not work. I also discovered after contacting Mercedes and Winnebago that my dealer (Johnson RV Sandy) was supposed to complete a form "Delayed Warranty Form" as per Winnebago Service Bulletin 7SB009-23-02A. I was told to contact them to complete this form so that my proper warranty start date (date of purchase) would update with Mercedes. I reluctantly called Johnson RV and requested that this form be filed (it takes all of 5 minutes on-line). After another call, messages and no return calls, I gave up! Luckily for me, Winnebago and my Mercedes shop got everything fixed. Johnson RV is a failure.

I purchased the extended warranty and have now taken my van in three times for a leak that is still…read moreunresolved. Each time, I was told they could not find the issue--even though the leak is obvious. At one point, they claimed it must have been fixed when they "tightened things," but the leak is still present. They also replaced the battery relay, but when I picked up my van the battery was dead and the AC had been left running. Since then, the battery drains very quickly whenever I run off the house battery. After speaking with DM Vans, I learned they were extremely concerned that the solar system was repeatedly charging the van only for the AC to immediately drain it again--an issue that may have been going on for a long time without my knowledge. On top of that, the AC unit has now been hit and is falling down. I have been trying to reach a manager for three weeks, with multiple promises of call-backs, but I've received no resolution and no return calls. This has been a deeply frustrating experience. Between the unresolved leak, the battery/AC issues, and the lack of communication, I feel let down and very concerned about the quality of service and accountability.

We recently purchased our first travel trailer (a used Rpod) from the Sandy Funtime RV location…read more We're happy with the trailer but our purchasing experience could have been better. We bought it from out of state without seeing it, so all the paperwork was done by email/mail. Communication was lacking on the back end, after we had agreed on a price. The paperwork came from Haugen RV, which was odd; no one told me it would come from someone other than Funtime. They also sent all the paperwork to the incorrect address, despite my written instructions with correct address, which took a week or so to figure out. They required that we send full payment based on a one page purchase order with no details as to their obligations to inspect, clean, etc. and before providing any report from the "pre-delivery inspection." They said this was standard procedure, but I thought it seemed strange. I would prefer to know if something turned up on the inspection and to know what each party is agreeing to before sending full payment. More troubling was the filthy condition in which the trailer was delivered to us. The salesperson at Funtime stated by text: "Its in very good shape needs a detail which we will do and a pre delivery inspection." The Haugen general manager who handled the purchase paperwork also confirmed it would be cleaned before shipping. However, it arrived with dirt on the floor and in the drawers/cabinets and smudges and cobwebs on the walls. The bathroom was particularly dirty (see photos). The exterior was also in need of a good scrubbing as the trailer had been stored outside. I emailed the manager to let her know we were disappointed that it was not detailed as promised before delivery (or at least given a basic cleaning!!) and did not receive a response. Spending a weekend cleaning out the previous owner's grime wasn't supposed to be part of the deal. It certainly left us with a bad impression of this dealership.

I refused to pay for added insurance and finance person Vicki lost it. Tore up the finance paperwork and got angry. Sorry you had to retype some papers but pressure sales of insurance sucks and I saved thousands. Don't buy insurance save your money for Amazon. But I can get a cushion replacement if I buy $1200 in ceramic wax job. I bought a better mattress on Amazon for $200 and a bottle of wax for $20. I am $1000 ahead on that alone. The trailer was poorly prepared. Solar not hooked up. Lug nuts not torqued. Sunset 139T. One lug took a full rotation the rest where at about 46 ftlbs. Buy a torque wrench and check your wheels. Not Funtime but terrible electrical work on this rig. Loose live wires. The leaf spring shackle bolt was not tightened. Could have died coming down Santiam Pass. I do like the 139T toy hauler but having to go through a new rv and make it safe sucks. There is a yellow wire on the same screw as the battery before the fuse just hanging out. The reverse wire from pigtail was cut in the household metal junction box, not capped. The fuse from the battery is loose in a metal box exposed terminals that can short out. I got lucky and the axle did not fall off. I found the spring shackle bolts where loose when installing SumoSprings. I have photos and videos. The last photo is at the dealer with a tangle of wires hanging down. That should have stopped me. When they prep it they mean cut the shrink wrap off the cushions. Washington people don't pay tax twice for one sale $1742.27 on $20259 rv plus Wa. Sales tax. I wish had would have noticed. I took my papers to Wa DOL and the wrong amount was withheld for Wa tax. $1782.59 So no plate and when they receive the wrong amount Wa DOL will send it back. Trip permits added cost.
