I have had a home and rental properties in Ocean City for over 50 years. have used Johnson's Appliances many times over the years.I just purchased a stack Washer Dryer 2 weeks ago when tenants turned on water would not go out clothes were soaked called them took almost week to come out has bad pulley etc had to order parts this was a new washer also they broke wall switch on delivery still not fixed. You do not want to buy an appliance from Johnson's Appliances and Bedding. My husband and I bought a washer machine from them and were told we had a 10 year extended warranty through Speed Queen. It has been 6 years since we purchased the machine and just recently had an issue. Speed Queen told us they have no record of our extended warranty, The salesman we bought the machine from is gone, but the young man on the phone said there was probably a paper on it that we should have filled out. Speed Queen and Johnson's acknowledge the fact there was a super warranty for the machine in that year , however, no one has a record that we have the warranty. There is no way to find out what happened to our record. According to the salesman we are out of luck, there is nothing they can do. Had we been given material to extend a warranty you can be assured it would have been filled out, but with 6 years gone by it "oh well, nothing anyone can do". Buy an appliance from people care about their customers and who you know have your best interests at heart. read more

Wish I could give zero. It's been a nightmare. We have been loyal customers of Johnson's for nine years, until their faulty installation of a washing machine created thousands of dollars in flood damage. THEY ARE SO DISHONEST. Brett Johnson could not care less about doing the right thing and taking responsibility for THEIR INSTALLATION. Johnson's installed a new washer and dryer in our second floor laundry closet in December. After two uses, we had a major flood - Johnson's installer (subcontracter) came out immediately and apologized, explaining he had forgotten the zip tie to secure the hose, and accepting full responsibility. We made the huge mistake of not recording his admission. Months later, the installer disclaimed all responsibility. Johnson's said there is nothing they can do-they believe the installer. No one can explain how else this brand new washer could have flooded. We had to go through our homeowners insurance (dining room ceiling had to be replaced, laundry closet flooring replaced, etc.) and incur major expense and aggravation. Johnson's ghosted us - they won't even pay our deductible. So disappointed. STAY AWAY FROM THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE. read more

We bought a GE washer and it's a big lemon. We have to keep calling for repairs for the same problem. We're on our fifth time service for it. Johnsons was no help to us. They basically told us to deal with GE and that's been a nightmare. This machine is less than a year old and is only used in the summer. Johnson's could have at least helped us with a GE rep to try to get us a replacement but they've done nothing for us. We spent a lot of $$$ for this washer/dryer one piece unit and are lost at what to do. Don't buy from them. read more

Additionally, the vendors they work with for the removal, installation and crane services were ALL top notch. Prompt, efficient, professional. My installer Geoff was fantastic. The consummate professional. There were manufacturing issues with my range hood, totally NOT JOHNSONS fault. Geoff came back three times different dates the install the hood. He took his time and did a magnificent job on the install. I would give them a zero if I could! Not sure why they have two sites under Johnson's appliances and Bedding? Maybe because the other site is getting such bad reviews? Well, I am going to duplicate my issue and hope that no one else buys from them ever! I purchased over $21,000 worth of appliances and one of those was a Scotsman ice maker. It never showed up with the original order after months of waiting. They told me it was damaged, I think they gave it to another customer. Anyway it took months to get a replacement and when it came the door frame was broken. I told them this was not the model I wanted and the discusssion was about who did I tell I wanted the better model? Not sure, but all I want to do is exchange this lower model, get a credit towards the model I wanted originally and pay them full price for the upgraded model. The manager (Gary) said no because of warrenty reasons. That turned out to be a complete lie! The manufacture said he could easily put the ice maker back on the floor to sell. It had not been installed or used just sitting in my dinning room. So I went to him at the store in Ocean City, NJ and he said that is only one of the reasons I cant take bake. It is just that they Will NOT take it back not that they could not take it back! Please do not shop their! They have the worst communication and worst return policy I have ever seen. I will tell everyone I know do NOT shop there. Terrible service and lairs!! See a picture of the new ice maker sitting on my dinning room floor never used and never even uncoiled the coreds.
