Not only did he take my order but he made some stellar recommendations that ultimately made my friend feel a little less down. We received so many compliments of how beautiful the horse and carriages were and how they really made the wedding beyond perfect. I even had several people say when they saw the horse and carriage come up with me and flower girl on my lap they teared up! Jim and Kim were the drivers and they were so wonderful to work with, I am so so happy we decided to go with them. And it made for some beautiful pictures!

We contracted them for two months of design work ahead of the date and received nothing for the first month. We prodded them through their frustrating website (the only means of communication since we never got any sort of direct email address) and when we did finally receive a mood board it was 6-8 images of items that were all clearly pulled from a single search on their preferred vendor website. We ended up doing all the decor planning and transportation ourselves so this was a complete waste. We only met our day-of coordinator a week or so ahead of the day and while Emily was professional and courteous Gina basically missed the whole meeting on the phone with someone else as we could hear through the video call. In the end bc we had done all the planning and transport ourselves and our venue coordinator had done all the logistics work with our vendors there wasn't much to do on the day. We found out later through social media they're contracting 3 or more weddings per weekend so if you want any sort of personal attention, look elsewhere. They're clearly optimizing for quantity over quality.

We planned and payed for our whole wedding ourselves and with Gina's help as our day of coordinator, our day was better than we ever could have imagined. Everything that Gina and her associate did to set up was absolutely stunning and she thought of everything. She was so calm and collected and that was priceless, as it helped keep me grounded. Long story short, their was a delay in completing the job. Wrong color of fence arrived, deck finished late in the summer and I decided to wait until spring of 2020. As soon as we were allowed out of quarantine I called Tholens in Kankakee to get a completed estimate and arrange for work to begin. I stopped by to speak with Steve, a gentleman went to get him and 30 minutes later, I am still waiting and no Steve. Even the girl at the counter seemed clueless but didn't offer to remind him I was waiting. I called for an appointment and was told I didn't need one, he was there 6 days a week. So I dropped by as suggested and spoke to his wife, went through the plans and discussed color. Steve was to return my call with the estimate. Didn't hear from him and called the following Monday. Still no estimate (even though the design was complete dimensions and all). I have done similar estimates, just sit down for 30 minutes with a pencil and calculator. I was told they were very busy, I asked should I call the following Monday(week later) and was told yes. I called 3 more times and was pretty much ghosted. I feel like they were trying to humiliate me, because that's how I feel. I don't need to be told yes, I just want the truth. A good business design: don't tell people you are too busy it's insulting. call back so they can move on, let the customers know you can't do the work this season or ever for that matter and you won't get a bad review on yelp. ps....this was a significant job

She was *fairly* communicative throughout our year and a half of planning. However, the last bit of communication came from her in July 2024 for our September 2024 wedding and not a word after that. Both myself and my coordinator attempted to contact her to get final details in place (ceremony script, rehearsal info, etc.) to no avail. The week before the wedding we were left scrambling and luckily we're able to have an ordained family member perform the ceremony. However, this was entirely preventable. If Jessica decided she double booked herself, leave industry, etc. a simple email explaining and providing of an alternative and our money back would have been preferred. Also, her website is now down and contact communication of any kind is absolutely useless. If you're closing your business, fine, but tell those who have hired you! DO NOT HIRE.
