That was at four weeks. I was told, they were sorry, but they were not ready, but would be ready, soon. Two weeks later I called again and was told, they were done. Why was there no call to let me know they were done? Upon getting the screens home and ready to install, I noticed that the spline had not been replaced. They reused the old, cracked, weathered spline while charging full price for screen replacement. Not to mention, the screen material was not tight all the way around. When I called to ask why the spline wasn't replaced, Scott told me that it was their opinion that the spline could be reused. I pointed out that there were sections of the screen that had no spline. Scott passed it off as no big deal, and they were doing me a favor reusing the old dilapidated spline. We will not be using this Ace again.

Then another girl walks up -- not even a manager -- and asks me to explain the entire story again. After I did, she just said she needed to go get a manager (which I had already been told) and when I asked if she was a manager, she responded with a smart attitude, said "yep," and walked away. Not professional at all. The manager eventually came out and was also not friendly or welcoming. Overall, the staff here just seem rude and not customer-service oriented at all. I love the items they sell, but their jewelry is clearly cheaply made, and the experience with their employees really left a bad taste in my mouth. I honestly will probably drive an hour to the next closest location instead of coming here again. The products are great, but the customer service at this store is absolutely not. Monday, June 2, 2024, about noon at store number 1812, terminal 4, my rather harrowing adventure of…read moreemergency bathroom repairs, was concluded with the help of Lowe's AMAZING staff. Three days earlier, a plumber had come to do repairs and discovered the floor was rotted. So off we went for 2x4's, plywood, leveler, adhesive, linoleum, and screws. Vicki helped us that time. She was so kind and patient even with the throng of people in and out the pro door. She made a very busy time for her, obviously, seem like , for that moment, we were the most important customers she had ...as I am certain she does for everyone. Then Saturday, the lady whose bathroom is being repaired, saw a blue paint on the mis-tint shelf. Sharrell even climbed down off one of those enormous, movable staircases to answer questions and direct us to caulking. We did not get the paint, because it "just might be to dark." Naya was running the self-checkout and greeted us and made sure to offer us all the best in our project. Her bubbly spirit helped us jump into the project optimistically. And it worked. Today, the lady called to ask if I would go back and ask if Lowe's could make that cheaper can of paint lighter. Well, we were very fortunate that Anthony was mixing paint and asked if we needed any help. He explained, professionally , but with a hint of humor how this can of paint could be lightened and then walked me back to find a quart of exactly Bright White Eggshell that could be mixed and create the perfect pale blue. His time and attention to detail- he checked the cans repeatedly to ensure they would be exactly the same paint finish- was something rarely found in customer service these days. Anthony YOU ROCK!! Then Aaron checked us out with his always customer service oriented way, and we were off to Finally Finish This Bathroom. Thank you all. Thank you Lowe's for hiring such exceptional , dare I say , super heroes of home improvement? You made a stressful, sweaty, dirty job- easy.

I learned so much because the Woodcraft staff seem like its their job to interact and educate where they can. I'm sure this varies by location but these two stores tell a different tale. I become a confirmed Woodcraft fan after my Rockler experience. Also, when I got home from Rockler, I realized they sold me a protion of purpleheart thats cracked. I never had any issues or complaints about the products bought at Woodcraft. In fact, twice from pen kits, I damaged a piece and they replaced it without any issues. Great customer services will keep me coming back.
