    Our Raclette app- half eaten!!
    Rob G.

This wasn't my first time to JoJo- but each time has been a nice meal and experience. We wanted a table for 4 on a Monday night and the only online reservation before 8:30 PM was 5:15 so we went for it! Earlier than we usually eat but I do know it is a busy place. When we got there - the place was half empty (though the bar was cranking!) But within 45 minutes the tables were pretty filled. They do a great business here! We had a fantastic waitress- smart, funny and I can't remember her name unfortunately- but she was very attentive and gave great advice on menu questions. After ordering drinks (I'm a draft beer guy and they had a good selection) we started with the Raclette app- basically thick cut potato chips with melted cheese on them. Very good! I ordered the Pork Chop - which was huge and very tasty- it came with a demi glaze sauce. The others at my table ordered pizza- wood fired- a pepperoni and a sausage and pepper- classic versions. I tried a slice and it was awesome. It did get a little loud as the place filled up- but the place is so good that it gets busy. We took our out of town friends here- and they really loved JoJo! Made us look like good hosts. I highly recommend going to JoJo!

When traveling, we look for places where locals gather. This is it! Friday night was vibrant here. Friends at the bar enjoying appetizers and drinks. Friends at the tables celebrating birthdays or just getting together to kick off the weekend. Loud and inviting. Perfect way to taste local life. Our server Christina was very friendly. Gave us excellent recommendations and brought our food very timely. She gave us space to enjoy our time. She had great context on the menu and also shared great info on the neighborhood. We tried the pork loin, with Brussel sprouts and the very flavorful special steak of the day. Both were tasty, properly cooked. My steak was tender, juicy, flavorful. Mashed potatoes were creamy but not too heavy. We paired with Argentinian Malbec. They have a good list of wines from the region and major global areas. We had a delightful night !

What a darling spot! Came here recently with a coworker and very much enjoyed the experience. For beverages, they're primarily a wine bar but do have a few cocktails on menu. I opted for their green can tea cocktails which is a delicious mix of bourbon, ginger liqueur, and green tea. It was refreshing and delicious. For my main, I went for their grilled romaine with salmon added. The salmon was beautifully cooked and delicious. The grilled romaine camed drizzled with caesar dressing and had a nice smoky flavor. All in all, a solid dish. The only complaint I'd have is the volume of the place. It's incredibly loud which made it difficult to hear my dining companion. They don't have much (if anything) to improve the acoustics/absorb sound (no linens on tables etc). Beyond that, though--the meal, drinks, and service were lovely! Get to it!

There's a huge bar section as you walk in and a nice toasty pizza oven, a pleasant surprise to walk into from the outside cold. The plus for me was the many options of wine flights. Wine tasting without driving to the Finger Lakes. There's also plenty of other drink options for the non grape juice drinkers. Pizza was my favorite with its soft & crispy perfectly char crust. Mussels and fries were huge & the Octopus was surprisingly filling with the chorizo & beans. Overall, I enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was a little slow but we saw they were a little light on staff. One bartender for the entire bar & she was probably making drinks for the table order as well. Not a deal breaker.

Lively place. Great vibe. Had a couple glasses of dry white time. Didn't eat but the pizzas look awesome.

Was recently invited here for a corporate dinner. Not sure if there is a limited number of decent restaurants in this area of town or not - because this place was very packed, and for 2 hours I could not figure out why. To begin with, the place is extremely loud and it was near impossible to have a conversation. The acoustics of the interior were doing this place zero favors. I ordered a burger that for some unknown reason was $20. It was nothing special or spectacular. It was mostly bland. Service seemed friendly, but slow. This place had more of a feel of a loud pickup bar than a fancy restaurant or a chic bar to chat and have conversations. Our group ended up leaving and going somewhere else so we could talk.

Raclette was very tasteful and very filling. We split it between two people and honestly thought we didn't need to eat our meals. Luckily meals were on the smaller side, but we took most home for later. The risotto was delicious. I would recommend trying this. The gnocchi was soooooo salty I couldn't eat it. I'm not sure if this was a screw up on their part or if this is how they always prepare it. Next time I think I will try their pizza. Hopefully it will be better than the gnocchi.

We popped in to order some takeout and have a glass of wine after Christmas, availing ourselves of a gift certificate from my SIL who lives in Pittsford (we ventured the whole way from the exotic far-flung locale of Gates). I thought that the menu selection was great-- not too much, not too little, and well-balanced to suit various tastes and gastronomic objectives. We got the specialty pizza, which was pepperoni drizzled with just the right amount of honey. We then got two pasta dishes, one of which was gnocchi with a red sauce. I thought the gnocchi was good. The other one-- with butternut squash and other stuff- had all of the right ingredients but it felt like it was missing something, like perhaps it was under-seasoned. I'm not sure. Anyway, they have some really great happy hour specials, too, and it's a charming, cozy, modern barn kind of an interior. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great.

When coming into JoJo you are impressed by the clean and fresh atmosphere! It look very elevated and a great spot to enjoy a meal. We ordered the wedge salad and pasta dishes. I had the gnocchi and it was a great portion and great flavor! The only issue we had was the waitress was not attentive and we seemed like an after thought to her. We would hope the service would be as good as the food and atmosphere.

Candied ginger as a garnish? Sold!!

This place gets a solid 5 stars for atmosphere alone. That gorgeous S-shaped bar is not only aesthetically awesome, but it also has a way of maximizing seating space. Their menu selection is well-rounded with some complex flavor combos as well as some classic favorites. Same goes for their drink selection. Fresh ingredients throughout! Staff service on the night that I was here was very pleasant and engaging. Tons of parking which is a plus near the canal. My only critique is for my entree. The chicken in my Buttermilk Chicken dish was a little over fried (or maybe the oil was a little overused), and it was buried under salad greens. Still had a decent flavor, though. Do yourself a favor and try the raclette - it's amazing!

We have visited twice now, once to eat, and once to just enjoy wine. The second time made me think twice about returning. The food is good, I had the mussels, they were done properly and the sauce was tasty. The wine was average, a bit on the warm side, and not because I was sitting in front of the oven :) Nice ambiance, plenty of seating in the dining area and bar area. Two tv's. Service was okay, but not great. The second time we just got wine and I asked to see the bottle. To our surprise the wine was not that highly rated, and after looking it up we were charged as much for a glass of the wine as the bottle cost. That was disappointing and again the wine was not the proper temperature. Nice area in Pittsford, walking distance to the canal.

There was street parking available in front of the restaurant and on either side of the street. When we walked in the first thing I noticed was the decor. Everything was beautifully decorated and so welcoming. The bar was to the right and the host stand a little further up. I didn't get a picture when we walked in but there was the cutest orange stand and a sign with an arrow pointing to the host stand. They had live music that night and it was pretty busy. Once we were seated we did wait for some time before someone came to greet us but the person that sat us did bring us water. When someone came over they were very apologetic for the wait and let us know there may be a little delay with the food but was very proactive with making drink recommendations and took our food order before leaving the table. Our drinks were delicious! I got the coconut lime margarita and it was so flavorful. My friend got the espresso martini and she said it was so good. We enjoyed the music while we waited and all of the waitresses would check on us anytime they walked by. We ordered a second round of drinks and I got the pistachio martini and my friend got the crème brûlée martini and both were great. I really like this restaurant because they offer small plates so my friend and I picked a few we both wanted to try. We got the stuffed gnocchi flight, arancini classico, and ahi tuna martini. All 3 were 10/10 on the taste scale. My favorite of the gnocchi flight is the one with pesto. The arancini was so tasty and the sauce that came with them was a perfect pairing. The cilantro crema on the ahi tuna martini was the star of the dish. Overall, this was an incredible dining experience and I'd love to come again to try some items from their dessert menu and on a night with no live music.

Love to see unique places open up in Rochester, so had to try this new-ish piano bar when I heard…read moreof it. Check their website for when pianists will be playing. They also have a surprisingly large food menu, but we just had cocktails and dessert. Drinks were just OK, but the desserts were great! Definitely recommend the chocolate raspberry cake. My only critique is that the table arrangement is setup more like a restaurant than a lounge and the decor is a bit random. If they made it feel a bit more loungey, I think it would improve the overall vibe.

My parents brought me here as a kid when it was known as Timothy Patrick's. Now it's TP's. I…read morehonestly haven't been here in probably 15 years...and the food is just ass good as I remember it. First off I'm going to say there's definitely an issue where they're signage. There's a huge sign out by the road saying they're open seven days a week but if you pull into the parking lot on a Sunday day or Monday, you're gonna realize that is a lie. The hours are correct online, but we didn't look there because we drove by it on a night. It was open and saw the sign so we figured we would go there and we try to go on a Sunday night. There are two signs on the door, one saying that it's open seven days a week and then another one that says closed on Sundays and Mondays. I think they should get that straightened out. If you have mobility issues, you'll definitely wanna park around the back so you can go up a ramp or it's a flatter surface rather than steps if you park in the front . There's a really cute little outdoor patio to eat with heaters obviously, this time of year it's not quite the right weather for that. The inside hasn't changed there's still the county flags on the walls in the ceiling , there's still the big wooden privacy booth with a little Shamrock on the table underneath. There is a fireplace that's lit when it's appropriate and there's wooden tables in the middle of the dining room. It's not a huge restaurant. There's a really large menu that I feel like it can appeal to everybody's tastes. Honestly this place has the best potato skins I've ever had anywhere and they're just like I remember them from when I was younger. They come with a healthy side of sour cream. They didn't have some specials with candied bacon and so I wanted to try it and I asked if I could get a side. I got two sides of very slimy, grizzly limp, bacon. That was my only complaint. I think that candy bacon should be crispy and if the chef wants me to give him some pointers on how to make candy bacon I'll be happy to share my recipe with him. I also had a tomato basil soup for an appetizer because it sounded so delicious and it was really good. It had a nice texture and it was a sweet tomato basil soup . It was very thick almost like a marinara. Delicious! My dad had the turkey temporary grill. I believe it was. It was a turkey sandwich that came with a side of onion as you and he picked out homemade fries to go with it. Honestly, I was having a little bit of FOMO from not ordering it. It looked really good. I asked about desserts. They only had one dessert and this was on Thursday night. . It was a lemon mascarpone cake and it was really delicious. I don't know why I haven't gone here in so long so when I'm back in town again, this will be on my list !

Seated right away, server was attentive, knowledgeable, and on top of things. My sandwich was hot & fresh, my friend's salad was beautiful to look at, she said it was good as well. Bill for two was a little over $40.00 so fair. We left with leftovers for the next day, and full, so definitely a place I'll be back too, thanks for the good meal.

OMG we happened on this place from a recommendation from the secretary at Schwab's. Thank goodness…read morewe went because it was great!! My husband had the chili & it had a good taste & kick! I had the soup special of creamy chicken & it was a great way to start. Hubby had a Beef on Weck & ad jus with coleslaw. He gave the highest compliment possible when he said it was better than Schwabl's restaurant by a mile!!! He said it was more tender & done perfectly plus the bun & Ad Jus was yummy!! He said the coleslaw was good. I had the Beef Brisket grilled cheese with Golden sauce & fries. Wow that sandwich is one I can't wait to go back & get again!! Such tender tasty beef & yes it's messy you will lick your fingers!! The fries were perfect as they were crispy on the outside & soft inside & tasted wonderful! We were there at a non busy time of day but I can see where this place could get hoping! It has a full bar & lots of TV's. There is bar seating, tables & chairs, as well as booths where we sat & were comfortable. It is very clean in the restaurant & rest room. We will return!

We were planning for food and told the bartender we had a change of mind and just the drinks. Within the first 2 minutes of being there, she told us how much she wanted her shift to end, how crazy her life is, how drunk she got the night before, being out until 2am as a 60+ year old, so on and so forth. We went in planning to enjoy some food and drink... couldn't get out fast enough with just how extraordinary uncomfortable she made us. I was going to put her name, but I have a feeling whoever reads this from the establishment knows exactly who I'm talking about
