First time here, portions are large! Glad we didn't order an appetizer. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan and I had the pot roast. We could have split a meal. Each came with a side salad that also could have been split. Everything was delicious! The pot roast was so tender it fell apart. I actually enjoyed part of my dinner. majority of the people hated theirs. we ordered food to be delivered. My wife had already had tuna as an appetizer and she told me she loved it. I ordered that, and it was very good for what I got. You might say it was overpriced, but it tasted good. my wife and my adult daughter ordered chicken Parmesan. It had the Quality in plain flavor of the chicken. You would get from an old TV frozen meal. Zero flavor. my other daughter ordered teriyaki salmon over rice. It was very plain, but worse it was overcooked and let's face it. Dry salmon is worse than no salmon at all. I did not hate it when tasting it, but I mixed it up with the rice and the vegetable so it was edible. I would order it, possibly in the future, but I would make certain it was cooked, medium rare. my son-in-law ordered a BLT and he said it was good. I also ordered soft pretzels, which I love my nature. What I got was terrible incredibly over solved the even when I took all the salt over the surface the dough itself was incredibly salty. I have a feeling it's basically good for sandwiches and burgers The tuna I ordered was great, but it was not a lot for the money. If I had to go there again, I would probably would order the tuna assuming you're comfortable eating semi raw tuna. some people would call that black and blue. read more

Our experience for lunch on a recent weekend visit wasn't great. Service was OK, but kitchen speed for what should have been easy pickings also wasn't great. We made reservations and ask to sit outside asked if the heaters were outside already they said yes. We asked our waitress to turn it on well that never happened so we asked the hostess her response was they aren't working. Many other tables were offer a table inside but not us the just served the food and left never checked on us or the cold food. Pittsford Pub has OK food, the ambience is not great for dinner, but it's great for getting drinks with some friends. Service is good. I've been here before, and I know that the food is very basic bar food but I came back because somebody told me that the garlic Parm wings were to die for - so obviously as a Buffalonian living in Roc I had to come try them. They were not that good, which was really no shock to me at all. Still just a place I would come if I wanted to watch a hockey game or Monday/Thursday night football and have some appetizers and a beer. Nice sports pub. They have a pretty extensive menu and a page of specials. I had the stuffed peppers , which was one of the specials. They were pretty good. My husband had the southwestern salad. Was concerned after reading the poor reviews. 7 of us came for Sunday evening dinner. The primary disappointment was how incredibly slow the service was. Waiting for drinks was fair but long, appetizers came in a timely fashion. Then an additional 45 minute wait for our meals. Thought of getting up and leaving. The food: our son ordered a salmon salad. A previous review indicated that it was tasteless. My son agreed, he was very disappointed. I ordered well done & crispy fries as a side. They were neither. In fact they were just a bit warmer than room temperature and mushy. Yuck. The service: started off good then went south. Grandson asked for water refill, never happened. My son ordered club soda and lime refill. He had to ask again 10-25 minutes later. Her comment "you never got it? I thought sure they would bring it over. She was absent most of the second half of our stay. I had to stand up and get her attention to even bring us the bill. Too many good restaurants to patronize. Second chance! We thought we would give the Pittsford Pub a second chance. It got worse than the last bad experience. Ordered drinks took forever we were told the bar tenders don't fill the orders from the wait staff in a timely manor actually said they ignore orders from the dinning room. This was also the case the last time we were there. Hardly any one in the restaurant area and it took over 30 minutes after we ordered to get food. Steak salad comes with French fries but they were missing. Other order had sweet potato fries and they were cold. Waitress never asked if we wanted another drink. Had to ask another waitress to get the check. It's a shame but highly recommend you don't go here. read more

If you are in a hurry, do not come here. We read the Yelp reviews, most cite slow service, but decided the food quality was worth the risk lol. Dinner time on a Friday and there were several seats at the bar. Kelly was masked, friendly, efficient and ALONE!!! She was handling a large bar area, indoor tables, pickup orders and the phone. Luckily there was someone else handling the outdoor tables and a runner from the kitchen. Omgosh! Luckily we were looking for a place to sit, eat, watch the game, and we were in absolutely no hurry. Kelly poured great drinks and got us wings (that we're not hot 45 min later when we received them) that were tasty. We had to flag her down for a second round and a food order, and eventually we got our dinner (which was hot). Hubby got a bacon cheeseburger with tater tots and I got the patty melt with sweet potato fries. Food was great and worth the wait. In this darned COVID era, it was nice to be out and fun to watch a game with a whole bunch of other Yankee fans (too bad they lost) so we will definitely be back to watch other sports events. Revisiting my review for the Pittsford Pub. The Pub has improved a bit since my first review BITD. Let me just say how thankful I am that this restaurant has survived COVID times. We have ordered from the Pub quite a few times, delivery thru Door Dash and pickup (AKA "Dad Dash"). That's definitely one of the reasons I'm upping my rating to four stars... they've earned them! Sure, they've missed the mark a few times (Beet salad, folks... not as advertised!) but if you stick to their strengths they won't let you down. Burgers, great... Patty Melt, even better. Stick to kettle chips over the fires if you're ordering delivery or picking up to go. Fish Fry has been good the last couple times we ordered. Just stick to the basics and you'll be happy! read more

I was pleased with the vegetarian choices on the menu even though there was only a few. My Fiancé got the Artichoke & Chicken French over Linguine to which he said was equally delicious. I met some family at the Pittsford Pub & Grille for dinner earlier this week. It was my first time coming here, and to be honest, I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews. Well, that was completely unfounded, and I was thoroughly impressed! We started off with a plate of the fried pickle chips, which were fresh and homemade, and possibly the best fried pickle chips I've ever had. They were amazing! I ordered the Greek Salmon Burger special, which was fresh, and clearly made with chunks of real salmon, with a delicious Greek/Mediterranean style seasoning blended in. The bread it was served on was warm and crisp as well. One of my family members ordered the Fried Avocado Po Boy sandwich, which had breaded, fried avocado on it, along with homemade pickles, and other fixings. Very good, and a unique take on the Po Boy! Finally, the third family member ordered the Mahi-Mahi special with mango salsa. It was cooked perfectly, with a delicious mango/pineapple salsa on top. I will definitely recommend the Pittsford Pub & Grill. The food, service, and atmosphere was all top-notch! I'll be back soon! read more

I really really wish I could give them a better rating because service was awesome... however... tonight was not great. This was my second time at Pittsford Pub and it will definitely be my last. Tonight there was a fundraiser, okay, I would expect there to be a wait time. They sat us immediately and we ordered drinks (both water) and then ordered (nachos, wings, onion rings, and fries) How long did we wait for food? One hour and 35 minutes. One of our waitresses was training which I completely understand, it's hard. I didn't mind waiting for food. However, When our food came.... It sucked. Wings were cold, Nachos were the grossest things I've ever eaten in my life (and I love nachos), onion rings were soggy, but the fries were the only thing good. They came right out of the fryer. Stopped here for lunch and was seated immediately. Table seemed clean and the waitress and hostess seemed pleasant. The bar had large plastic dividers between people. Customers were seated distanced and some tables were not used to practice social distancing. Unfortunately, I did witness another table leaving and the hostess seated new people at the table but didn't disinfect or wipe down the table or the booth. Thought maybe a one time thing but saw it happen again during our meal of crew people sitting at a table without any staff wiping off the touchable items on the table or any chairs or booths. Bathroom was clean and seemed well kept. Parking is shared with a few other businesses so can get tricky when all the businesses are open. As for the food, I ordered the chicken artichoke French. It was very watery to the point some of the water spilled onto the table when the waitress put it down. It was basically a very lemony soup. I don't think they drained the pasta when they put it in the bowl. The lemon flavor was very strong and overpowered the flavor. When I asked the waitress why it was so watery she said it's because of the pasta. I mentioned it was has a very strong lemon flavor and she said it was supposed to have a strong lemon flavor. I've had plenty of lemon dishes but this was bitter and so sour tasting I couldn't get through the meal. I ordered a side salad with the entree and the salad itself was fresh but I asked for olive oil and vinegar. The vinegar had some floating things in it. I poured a little onto my napkin and it seemed like fruit flies or some small flies were in the vinegar. Don't think it had been cleaned or changed in quite a while. Overall the best item was the beer. A nice mild ale that was ice cold. I would not go here for the food but maybe for a drink or two. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of restaurants in the heart of Pittsford so competition doesn't force them to continually improve. Too bad as this place has lots of potential. I went to speak to her outside and she was very very aggressive and yelled at me at top of her lungs. she body shamed me. all of this was in front of the owner who said nothing or did not try to stop her. after she left I did calmly speak to the owner who seemed like a nice man. obviously will not be dining there again. read more

Truthfully, I haven't been to the Pittsford Pub in a minute (certainly not since the COVID pandemic has been upon us), but all of my experiences here in the past have been really great. I had an extra special birthday lunch here two years ago after my first trip to the Del Monte, and the food was excellent with prompt service and good beverage options. Once I was finally of drinking age at Naz, this was a regular spot for a quick drink with friends. I have ordered burgers, sandwiches, and salads here, and am generally impressed by the range of their menu. It is great for families with varying tastes and really good for groups in the normal times when groups are allowed. It can get pretty rowdy in there on weekend and a wait is to be expected. A lot of folks are writing about slow service, and perhaps it is only because I typically go for lunch, but I've never had too much of a problem with this. Great wine and beer selection and a super fun bar. I enjoy their cuban sam, salmon sandwich, and appreciate their classic wine list. They currently offer ordering online and takeout. read more
