They've thoroughly beat out all the usual suspects when it comes to breakfast. We ordered Mama Jen's bowl and asked for an over medium egg. I'm a retired Chef so I have various "test foods" I order whenever I go somewhere new. They got the medium SPOT ON. That is a feat unto itself. The potatoes were crisp on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Completely impressed. We also ordered the Ultimate Omelet. The fillings were perfectly portioned so nothing outshined or pushed off anything else. The spinach had just the right wilt without being mushy. Great stop off of I-4 heading north out of Orlando. My friends had the gravy biscuits & grits. The biscuits seemed homemade & were delicious. I had an English muffin with cheese & cinnamon raisin toast. The English muffin was the perfect bite - I have no idea how they got it soft & crispy at the same time. It was exactly what I needed this morning! When we were there several locals came in & we're greatee like family. It added to the welcoming feeling. If I lived closer I'd be here all the time. I forgot to take pictures of our entire meal. The corn beef hash had a nice crisp on it but was too salty. The cocoa was made with water but needed a second packet, but that is just my taste. The pancakes were good I had chocolate banana. The burrito was good just had too much potato, also my fault for not reading that. Service was good since made fresh. No powered sugar, no cinnamon, etc.. the syrup was ok, but the eggs (over hard) and bacon tasted good though. Friendly service on Mother's Day and a free pancake for all Mom's. We were a party of 7 and our food was served fast, hot, and was delicious. Several of us had bowls, they were all great especially, the Jojo bowl. Our server was friendly and got our orders right. She also kept our coffee hot and glasses full. The pancakes were exceptional too, nice and fluffy, our youngest served with a whipped cream smiley face. We split the check but, for my family of 4 our breakfast in total was only $46. Went for breakfast Saturday morning 07/25/2026 at 8 am. There was maybe three other patrons there. One eating, could not see the second person's status, and the third sitting looking at her phone with no drink or food. No one greeted us so we sat at a booth. Waited, waited, waited with no acknowledgment of our existence so after about 10 minutes we got up and left as the other person still had not been acknowledged either, unless she worked there and was on a break, but I hope that was not the case because that would be worse. So, I can't tell you how the food was because they didn't care enough to watch the dining area even though there was a bell or buzzer that sounded when we came in. In this world, if you are short staffed, a simple message on the Specials Chalkboard to advise of that would go a long long way. My husband and I finally stopped in for breakfast on Sunday morning! We were quickly seated at a nice table in the center of the restaurant, allowing us to get a great look at the decor. I really love the hometown vibe that they have! While we were seated right away it did take a few minutes before we were given any menus. We were also told that they did not have any diet or zero soda, which was quite a disappointment. I ordered the biscuits and gravy while my husband ordered the french toast. All I can say is WOW! The food here is truly out of this world - especially for the price! The biscuits and gravy had the best sausage gravy I've ever had at a restaurant. They know what they are doing! The French toast really felt like such a treat! The French toast itself was delicious - I love the sourdough! My husband said that the accompanying meat was also delicious. Met a friend here for lunch. Service was outstanding. I had an omelette; which was very good. The fried potatoes were great too. My friend had the Chef salad; the presentation of the selection of food was assembled very nicely along the rim of the bowl. Dressing was on the side which was nice. The menu is short and sweet. The inside is sweet and simple. Booths along with table and chair sitting inside and one table outside. Prices are reasonable and the portions are great. We enjoy coming here and love the food. I will say don't be in a hurry they make everything when you order. It always comes out hot and fresh. I found this restaurant from a Deltona Facebook Group post. We were out running errands and decided to stop by for breakfast. We spent about an hour and twenty minutes or so in here. It took a while to even get our drink orders taken. The two waitresses seemed young and focused on the tables they were already helping versus coming over to a new table. The place was very busy (it was about 1120 AM - today a 12.9.2023). Someone who wasn't a waitress did come take our drink order. She was very nice. The food took quite a while to come out. A man from the kitchen (he seemed to maybe be the head of the kitchen?) apologized as they had an employee with an emergency that cut down their cook time - and unfortunately it happened during their rush. Everyone was very nice though. The young waitress with purple hair did come over and refill out drinks after a bit and spoke to us. There was also another lady who worked there (I didn't get her name but she has family up north) who came and spoke to our one year old when she was getting fussy! She really helped calm our daughter down and was really sweet. I feel they were just a tad overwhelmed when we first got there. Overall, the food, especially for the prices, was great. I shared French toast sticks and bacon with my one year old. My partner had the steak and eggs. For $8.99, he got steak, 2 sunny side up eggs, hash browns, and an English muffin. I'm not a steak eater but I'm always skeptical when he orders it at like a diner/cafe. However; he was incredibly happy with it. He said it was cooked perfectly and it had good flavor! Appears that this place is going downhill. Ordered breakfast for me and my girlfriend. Took pretty long time to actually get the food. When the food came it was not correct Orders were messed up on the wrong plates. Toast was maybe toasted for 10 seconds, looked just like bread not even toasted. The bacon was so well done it was black and falling apart. The original waitress that took the order was not the one who served it. The one that took the order might have caught the mistakes ?
