Went in for breakfast and what a welcoming experience. From being greeted by the ladies till the last bite everyone is so nice. Very diner atmosphere. I actually can't wait to go back to try out different things. they have breakfast, brunch that was freshly made . Had some chicken and waffles with bacon in it and really hit the spot. Sadly didn't take pictures but next time I will!

    The Chuckwagon

I ordered The Chuckwagon it said sirloin and I got a chunk of hamburger meat..... no flavor and wasn't at all what I wanted. The French toast was the only good thing here. The waitress we had was very good but we probably wouldn't come again.

Very correctly, well-cooked breakfast foods - 15.00 $ is expensive, but quite good food and service. Eclectic Decor !

The staff was super friendly, great has small-town hospitality vibe. Since we stopped for breakfast let's start with the coffee, absolutely fantastic. Rich, fresh, and hot - and they never let your cup get below half full. I swear the waitress had a sixth sense for it because my mug was topped off with a smile before I even realized it was getting low. You don't see that here in Miami. The portions are wonderfully generous without being ridiculous. My vegetable omelette was loaded with fluffy eggs & veges, crispy bacon, and perfectly golden hash browns - and the biscuit! Love me a good southern style biscuit! Everything tasted homemade like someone's grandma was back in the kitchen looking out for you. Best of all? The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for the quality and quantity you get. I left feeling so FULL that my next meal was dinner. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great food, excellent coffee, and people who actually care about making your visit special, stop by this little diner.

Our waitress was sweet and on top of things Even got us sweet tea for the road and the cups were massive. This was my 2nd time here and I'll be returning again n again. Tonight for me was the Chili n eggs with bacon and home fries plus I added on one of their massive pancakes. My partner got the chicken mini meal with fries and a salad. Ordered my eggs over medium, they came out barely over easy the yolk was super runny but I never hold that against anyone, eggs can be difficult which is why chefs hats have 100 pleats. Cooking eggs is a honed skill. The chili was a lil more watery than I'd like but considering the egg they went together perfectly and I used the home fries to soak it all up. My partner's chicken was still moist, not killed and this place does fried right!! Completely crunchy and golden on the outside soft and yummy on the inside. The chocolate cake was wonderfully fudgey and moist too. The pancake which is a must have on at least one of your visits has a wonderfully crispy edge with awesome fluffy interior. The decor is cool, the lil signs funny and sweet and all the pictures from the original speak to an owner appreciating their customers. Great day or night but if you're looking for late night food and you're totally over the usual suspects, definitely pop in here, you won't be disappointed and you may just end up forgetting the usual late night suspects.

I also got an order of toast and I had to order a biscuit, since they are made in-house. The food was great, I really enjoyed how tasty everything was. The steak was a moderate size, but overall it was a good amount of food on the plate. I definitely enjoyed the gravy, never seen such great gravy, and the hash browns were absolutely perfect. The pancakes were really good also. The coffee was good quality and the staff kept coming around with a refill. Locals come to this restaurant, it really feels like a genuine diner where the community meets. Unfortunately, they were talking about politics and getting loud, so on my particular visit, that was a turnoff. But other than that, everything was extremely good. Definitely coming back. One more thing: CASH ONLY!!!

Lots of Philadelphia Eagles memorabilia lines the walls - and it did feel like a NE Diner. Great start! - but the food was, honestly, just so-so. The cheesesteak was roughly assembled and average. My son got breakfast burrito which was mostly fluffy egg, poorly wrapped and ill-conceived. It sounded so good on the menu, but did not live up to expectations. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day. But there are too many diners in the area to settle for this one.

She waited and came back twice. First time to say it would be a wait because they had to make the mashed potatoes. No green beans because of the delivery not there. No lemon for our water because of the truck. Waited awhile for the meal husband said meatloaf tasted weird. Then bill comes and got charged extra for using a card. Waitress should dress appropriately. who wants to see someone's flab sticking out of shorts. What a pathetic experience. A restaurant should have what's on the menu! Winn Dixie is next door if you run out of something. Won't be back!

This place is really classy and authentic and isn't your everyday ordinary Cuban restaurant. This place is great if you just want to grab a sandwich or you want to have a special date night and relax while enjoying a meal you won't forget. Tey have indoor and outdoor dining, and I noticed the tabletops are made from high end Quartz with gold metal flake and the decor and lighting sets the mood for an incredible dining experience. My first time here I ordered a Cuban sandwich meal, and it was absolutely the most incredibly delicious Cuban sandwich I have ever had anywhere and the service was top notch.

We had friends visiting and decided to come in on a Saturday evening without reservations. We were…read moretold there would be a short wait, which was completely fine, and we didn't mind spending about 20 minutes upstairs on the rooftop enjoying the DJ and atmosphere. Once seated, we were placed in the second dining room and ordered drinks, four appetizers, and our entrees. Unfortunately, from the start, the table was not properly set. We had no silverware, no napkins, no side plates for sharing appetizers, no coasters, and really no table settings at all. For a party ordering multiple appetizers and drinks, this immediately made service feel disorganized and inattentive. The issue became even worse when our entrees arrived and, almost immediately after, staff started stacking chairs around us at approximately 9:12 p.m. We had only been seated maybe 15-20 minutes earlier, so as a party of five on a Saturday night, we certainly did not expect the restaurant to begin visibly shutting down while we were just starting our meal. What made it even more frustrating was that these tables were already available when we first walked in, despite being told there would be a wait. Since we were entertaining guests, we thought this would be a great opportunity to show off the rooftop, which is such a great feature for a small town like DeLand and has so much potential. Instead, the experience became embarrassing and disappointing. Having staff stack chairs and place them on tabletops in the middle of our meal felt incredibly rude and unprofessional. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and made us feel rushed out rather than welcomed. When we asked to speak with a manager, the response we received was that "the servers have to go home." That explanation was unacceptable. Paying customers should never be made to feel like an inconvenience, especially while actively dining. With my own background in restaurant service and management, I found both the handling of the situation and the manager's response to be extremely poor. As a DeLand local, this was especially disappointing because this restaurant has been making improvements and adding entertainment, which we were excited to support. Unfortunately, the poor service and lack of professionalism completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable night out.
