Tea Party & Dressed Up Time
    Donna Y.

This was my 5-year-old's first ever tea party, and it surpassed my expectation. The set up was super cute and lovely. The kids had a great time. And JoJo was so sweet and professional. Thank you, Jojo, for making this such a special moments for our girls.

What stood out the most was the exceptional customer service from the owners, Mike and Mercedes. Their origin story really resonated with me--Mike started this business out of a true passion for art and community, and that dedication completely shines through in how they treat their guests. From the moment we first reached out to inquire all the way through the planning process, Mike was incredibly accommodating and responsive. The venue itself is awesome. It's a really cool, beautifully decorated space that instantly makes you feel creative. They offer a wide selection of projects to choose from, and the team gives you fantastic attention and guidance throughout the entire event. We had a wonderful experience and I am already planning to come back to host future events here. If you are looking for a great venue and unique experience with amazing owners, this is it!

This was for a public class on a Saturday at around 4:30 PM. The class consisted of 8 people max and seemed to be all couples. All of the equipment was prepared like an apron, clay, pottery wheel, etc. We had an instructor that was very knowledgeable and explained everything from start to finish. Complex technicals were explained in layman's terms. We were given enough clay to create 3 pieces but could keep up to two. The instructor also frequently went around to check everyone's pieces and was able to troubleshoot as needed. It was a fun experience but be very prepared to get your hands dirty! The glazing portion was separate from the class. There was no reservation needed for that so I did it the same day that I went to see the ceramics. For parking, street parking could be hit or miss depending on the time. I'd recommend coming early to have ample time to find parking. Overall, I enjoyed the experience enough. It could have been perfect if the staff here remembered to follow up on when the ceramics were ready for pickup. I am happy with the end result though.

I started art lessons in February 2019 with no previous experience drawing except for water coloring as a child. In the short time I have taken lessons, there has been a noticeable difference in my attempts to draw with pencil and pastels. Sonserae is an excellent instructor and has a teaching style that simplifies the steps for students like me to apply the knowledge she has demonstrated. Sonserae has a tremendous background in watercolors and I am looking forward to her sharing her techniques and knowledge in future lessons. Attached are two drawing projects that I have completed while under her tutelage. The first project is after four months of instruction (apple) and the second after six months.

I had joined her awhile back and despite having difficulties of my own, I had fun and the cookies are delicious. After the first experience I have returned on numerous other occasions and do feel I have progressed a bit with my decorating skills but all in all its about the fun. The cookies are always well themed and we enjoy eating these for several days afterward. It really doesn't matter what the end product looks like as long as you have fun creating your masterpiece. As Frank on Everybody Loves Raymond would say, the stomach knows not ugly and these are delicious no matter the result. I will definitely return again soon for more of these classes and highly recommend checking them out for something different, fun and challenging
