Michaels is a crafter's heaven! Be sure to check their weekly ad for coupons. Sometimes, the weekly coupons can range from 20%-40% off. There is a wide stock of supplies for wood crafting, paper crafting, knitting, scrapbooking, etc. Last time that I've checked, holiday items were 50% off. It's a good time to stock up! read more

This Michael's is usually pretty empty and a great place to find what you need. We come here almost every weekend for at supplies and we check out pretty quickly. The store is clean and well lit. I needed to exchange a frame tonight and they were kind and understanding and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I've frankly always have a good experience at this Michaels and I think the quality of their products is better. This Michaels is further away for me than Hobby Lobby but I still will come here first because of their service and their process is more efficient. This really is a crafter's paradise! There is a bit of everything here, from scrapbooking to art supplies, at this Michael's location. The selection here is wonderful. I came here the other day to look for art supplies and was completely lost. A friendly employee (a manager perhaps?) came to the rescue. He helped me pick out quality brushes, acrylic paint, and a cool easel. He was helpful and very knowledgable about all the supplies we needed. I really like wandering around the store and looking at all the great, new items. I love seeing all the scrapbooking supplies and embellishments that this store gets in. The also have a wonderful selection of kid's crafting supplies as well. This Michael's location also has wonderful home decor items. When adding some finishing touches to a room, I come here to find beautiful frames, mirrors, baskets, vases, and silk plants. I also like getting holiday decorations here too. This store has made some small, but impressive improvements in selection and customer service over the last couple of years. With changes like these, I'll be a huge fan of Michael's for many years to come! read more

Who is "Michael?" This must be the best Michaels store I have ever been to. In fact, their selection of pastels and related supplies surprised me. The store is very well organized, very clean, and the staff was extremely helpful. I'm not one to enjoy a leisurely stroll to the local arts and craft store. I really can't stand these types of stores. However, this store is the exception. I found exactly what my little one wanted plus a few more items that she was very excited to see that I purchased. Michaels is the perfect place to buy anything from t-shirts to fabrics. Every time we've decided to come here, the service is fantastic. They always help us find what we are looking for in the correct sections, and the prices are never too high. Again, I will congratulate this place for being a welcoming store while ordering all of the stuff I needed for arts and crafts. I honestly don't come here too often, but when I do I'm never disappointed. Checkout is nice and easy and you'll hear a nice employee asking how your day is and if you found everything you wanted to find in store. This is one of my favorite Michaels store. Its a bigger store which means more items to choose from. I only wish they had a bigger selection of card stock. I am a huge Cricut fan and also an owner of one so I am always looking for more card stock. They have classes you can take for small entrance fees and also kids classes for your little creative children. Definitely would love to take my son to the Friday slime classes during the summer. I would have given five stars if more staff was available throughout the store. I often find myself looking for what I want without anyone helping me out on where to find the items I need. read more

Hours online say it's still open for today until 9pm, but when I got there at 7:30pm, it was closed!! Ugh.

I have been here multiple times some for buying items and others for picking up at an UPS authorized pickup spot. For the frame I purchased, the check out lady was nice and let me use my coupon. She helped me decide which coupon was better to use. She knew to take care with the frame and not dink the corners or the front face, or the glass. For the pickup, I would say it doesn't feel like they get enough packages for pickup as they were a bit disorganized when I went on multiple occasions. One time it was in the back room where they had the packages by the frames. Another time the pickup spot was near the front break room they have. Seemed all over the place. But the good thing was they always had someone responsible for the UPS pickup to help. The was one time, since it's so disorganized there, that the person had to keep checking where the package could have gone because he kept looking and spent maybe 5 minutes rummaging through some items before coming back to me for the signature. The parking was good since they actually plan appropriate parking spaces for the amount of traffic at this location. read more

Would rate a minus 5 for being unsanitary. An employee was kindly asked to clean the restroom as pee was all over the seat. They walked into the restroom with no cleaning products, took a long time, and walked out with no cleaning product. When asked they said they wiped it off with toilet paper, NO cleaning products used!! Nasty. read more

I went two Saturdays ago and as I was leaving, this woman coming in had the nerve to insult the staff. There was a lovely young lady stationed at the entrance taking headcount to ensure there's no overcrowding. The woman looked at her and said "oh you have an important job" in a mocking tone. I recently did a "purchase online and pick up in store order". Seems simple enough, I do it with other stores all the time. Not at this Michael's. I walked in and didn't know where the button is to alert that I was there for a pickup. I had to cruise around the store in order to find an employee other than the one who was busy with a line of customers. I finally found two young women who seemed to work there, I wasn't sure because they weren't wearing name tags but they were carrying sets of keys. They looked at me like I was inconveniencing them. I said to one of the ladies, "I placed an online order and received the email saying it's ready for pick up. How do I go about picking up my order?" She gave me a disgusted look and said, "Did you push the order pick up button like you're supposed to?" I told her I didn't know where the button is, this was my first order like this. She looked at me and said, "Oh (sigh), another associate is going to meet you up front. You can go there now." If I hadn't already paid for my item I would have just left. The other associate wasn't any better. I went up front and waited for her. When she got up to the front, I asked, "Where is the button I'm supposed to press?" She said, "It's right behind you, next to the St. Patrick's day stuff. You can't see it?" She retrieved my item, I took the bag from her, said thank you and left. There were other items I realized I needed but I wasn't going to buy them at that Michael's. I went across the freeway to Hobby Lobby. Save yourself the headache, just go straight to Hobby Lobby. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. I called yesterday before closing to double check that an item was in stock since their website said there was and I couldn't purchase it online. I spoke to the manager (lady with red hair apparently) and she confirmed there were 6 of the items. I asked if it can be placed on hold so I can pick it up the following day and she said ok! This location was the closest location that had the item in stock (50 miles away) so I made the drive out there to find out they had ZERO items in stock. I wasted 2.5 hours of my Sunday (round trip) to drive out there to be avoided by the so called manager and then pawned off to another person to tell me they're not in stock. read more

Where did kindness and care and compassion go lately? The woman today was so rude to me, I explained my situation but nope. I offered and showed my photo and name on the actual school website (um isn't that something when it says the grade level I teach ???)..but no. It was ID or nothing. No compassion whatsoever. I called in for my FIRST EVER Curb side pick up. And the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude!! It was Sunday at about 4:00pm and she said my order would take up to two hours. All i ordered was wooden block letters i cant see how that would take 2 hours to pull that order. Spent over $80 in yarn very unhappy with customer service how we were treated, bad experience. Had coupon 60% off one item and 20% for entire purchase. Because we were last customer your rep stated we were no longer able to use the 20% off because your store closes at 9 and we were checking out at 9:11 you should have honored your coupons. We brought my 90 year old moTHer in to shop, we love to crochet, earlier we weekend at Hobby Lobby buying yarn and drive across the fwy to Michael's (purposely to use coupons) to buy more yarn, making a Kobe Bryant Lakers blanket. Customer Service is horrible at this location. First time to this location and never again! I asked a simple question at the register "do you know if any of these items (5) are on sale?" Older lady at register gives me a drop dead stare then sarcastically says "I would have to ring it up and you can look at the screen to find out " Are you kidding me, RUDE! I am a customer service manager and would never treat a customer this way. A simple "let me check for you" would have been sufficient. This is every craft lovers dream! However, in my opinion, they should stay open later. Don't you know crafters work ALL day and night?! So maybe till 10, 10:30? That would be perfect. This is one of my favorite Michaels store I have been to. It's clean, the workers are friendly and helpful, and I live close by.
