I came here to get nails with design. When i walked in it was completely empty. I showed them what i wanted and they said they could do it. The person i spoke to was to do my nails. Instead, she sent someone else after i sat down and all they did was take off my top coat, buff and painted my acrylic nails with a gel polish and charged me 60$ under the 'extra' itemized category. No design. It is inconsiderate and rude to change techs on a customer without discussion or notice. People have places to be and things to do so the time should be honored and respected. My pedicure of 66$ was messy with cheap polish that continued to streak even with multiple coats applied. I guess it's empty in there for a reason. I said this to them and I will say it again, I wont be going back. Unless you want a basic job done for 60$, i recommend finding another nail spot. read more

Not a great experience. The people working were nice but everything else was not nice. Took 50 minutes for them to remove my friends polish which is ridiculous. The people doing our nails kept stopping and leaving. I guess they have a room in the back and we're going back and forth between people. My nail shape was fine but they filed one hand shorter than the other. Left the dip under my nails. Missed dip on part of my nail and we were there for 1.5 hours. After I paid $55 for the basic pedicure($31) and gel ($20), I took a closer look at my toes when I got outside in natural lighting. Quite a few of my toenails did not have an even coat of polish on them. They needed at least one more coat... and maybe 2. The color wasn't consistent from nail to nail and the polish job itself was very spotty. The polish didn't extend as far as it should have on a couple of toes and overall just looks messy. Horrible. Had a pedicure and manicure here. First, I came in around 9. They said that everyone had not come in yet and to wait 15 mins. Wait turned out to be more like 30 minutes. Anyways, I get taken to the back, I chose the signature pedicure $30 and signature manicure $20. The lady kept pointing to the callous package so I said that's fine. The pedicure itself was ok. But she did nick me a few times and and same with the manicure. But she did not do anything with lotion. No massage nothing. Did not shape my nails at all either. Total was $60. 100% waste. When I got home a few hours later, my feet were burning, when I looked down below is what i saw. I haven't been able to walk much since. I've never had this bad of a pedicure. Worst experience ever! Kevin was rude my whole manicure. Very rough and did not pay attention to detail. Then made up a price for a cuticle cut and lotion added. Said $10 and was pushy. Then charged me $18. He also let the puffin wax drip all over my sweatshirt, pants, and chair because he was in a hurry. I tried to take off my rings and he said not needed so it resulted in wax all in my rings! Annoyed! Lastly, when i asked for short nails he joke by actually taking his scissors and putting them around my finger....like actually blade on skin! Pretending to cut! Unprofessional! The actual service and results were good however they charged me for something I didn't ask for. They have a combo mani/pedi option and asked if I wanted to do both. I told them that I wanted the pedi but not the mani, I just wanted dip powder on my nails. They went ahead and did the full mani, even though I told them again that I didn't want it, and charged me the full price. More like a 3.5 -- the owner is great! However, Jolie nail spa has seemingly gone downhill. We went in yesterday for 3 pedicures and none of us were pleased with the service or experience. We had 6p appointments and they close at 7, so we felt rushed the whole time. Our nail techs didn't do the massages that a pedicure comes with, my feet were left feeling rough even though I added callous remover, my friend found bubbles on her toe nail polish, and my hand polish change was sloppy. We were left feeling embarrassed that we brought a friend in with us when she wanted to go to her usual place. We loved this place for the friendly owner, Fabi (the most wonderful nail tech ever who wasn't available yesterday), great prices, and glasses of bubbly.. but if this is the usual nail tech quality we might have to find a new place. read more

Walked in on a Saturday for a pedicure and was taken right away. I got the Herbal pedicure which was listed on the card at $50 but when they charged me I was charged $69. Honestly, I had the most thorough pedicure I have ever received. It could really count as a leg and foot treatment and massage with a pedicure, So, I didn't argue the price with the young man but I recommend confirming the price. I usually do not give 1 star review because I want to give a business the benefit of the doubt, whether they had just one bad day or if it's consistent. I visited Jolie nail spa twice with my mom to get our pedicures done, and both times, we were treated the same way, so I've decided to write my first 1 star review. Both times, we made an appointment to get our pedicures done. Both times, we waited about an hour before the nail tech started to work on us. I really don't mind waiting 10-15 min when the nail tech gets ready and all that. If you cannot honor your appointment time, then don't take appointments. Both times, I've witnessed them working on another client first, who clearly came in after us. Last time, a Caucasian male customer came in after us, and he was treated first. Mind you, we were waiting on our chair. The nail techs that we encountered did decent job, not best, and they were not friendly. So for that reason, I am giving 1 star. Will not return to Jolie nail spa because I don't have time to waste, just seating around doing nothing. read more

I heard so many good things about this place and REALLY wanted to like it but... nope. Went in to get dip powder and two of my nails broke later that day. They weren't even, like at all, and I had the dip stuck to the sides of my fingernails. And on top of that the girl made most my cuticles bleed from the electric drill. Ouuuuuuuuuchhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! Really pretty nail salon that has been open for 1 year. There was no unpleasant acrylic smell. I got to sit in a massage chair for my mani because my friends were getting pedis. This is me just being picky. I had an older lady do my gel nails. She was really nice, but not as detailed as I would have liked. There was some polish on my cuticles where gel polish tends to peel first. Also, after the topcoat application, my fingers were burning when I put them in the curing light. I had to take my hand out. I would have liked lotion instead of oil for my hands/arms after the manicure. The oil would not absorb for a really long time and I felt uncomfortable. There are 8 massage chairs in the back for a pedicure. They also have comfortable looking (non-massage) chairs in the front for pedicures. $40 for gel manicure. $10 if you just want them to remove gel polish without getting another mani. They have free mimosa and plenty of space for you to bring friends. Make a reservation! They also have a rewards program. I think this will be my go-to nail salon. I will just have to watch for detail next time. read more

In town for a work event and needed a quick mani / pedi. I'm not a hard person to please but this experience was just bad. I asked for gel and was told I would get dip instead. The dip manicure was really messy and my technician left dip all over my hands. I had to ask for a utensil to clean under my own fingernails while I got my pedicure. The pedicure technician didn't shape my toenails, so if I leave them as is, I will get an ingrown toenail. I moved to the area ~7 months ago and needed to find a new nail place. When I walked into Jolie, the owner kindly greeted me and thanked me for coming in. I told him I was new to the area and he handed me a business card along with a couple referral cards signed by him that would offer those I referred $5 off and myself $5 off for each of the cards redeemed. The dip nails and pedicure I got was fine (good dip color selection!) and the girls were nice but nothing special in the execution. I decided to come back for the service I had received that first day. Over the past 7 months, this has been my go-to nail salon and I gave my friends the reference cards who received their $5 off. Unfortunately every time I've been able to come since then, I've been on a time crunch and hadn't been able to inquire about my $10 off for the referrals I had handed out. This past visit I finally had some time to inquire about it but was surprised to hear that only $5 of my $10 had been added to the account. I let them know that my friends came together when they had the referral cards so there shouldn't be a reason why only one of them is showing up without the other. The owner texted the front desk lady "I don't usually give out referral cards." And did not allow her to give me the additional $5 off. As a loyal customer who had given this place a chance for the kind service, this left a bitter taste in my mouth. On top of that, I am currently traveling to the beach (1.5 days after my latest mani/pedi) and my toe nail paint is already chipped!! I went in for a full set (acrylic) It wasn't busy so I was seated right away. Overall the nails were fine, they just weren't even. My left middle finger was way longer than my right. I asked for them shorter and the nail tech said they'd be shortened after filing, that just never happened. She asked if I wanted my natural nails shortened before she glued on the false, I said yes. She took the glue and put the nails on over my uncoupled nails, so why even bother asking? Sooooo...I was all set to hate this place. They're not my regular place, and it's Sunday, and I just needed something. In addition, for the same service they were $10 more. Yes their interior was much mor lush, and they gave me wine, but I'm loyal. Sadly, I can't say anything negative. I didn't want to like Kevin, but he was nice and talented. I got a great gel manicure. I have two nails that were damaged down in the nail bed and hey needed to be mended with acrylic until they grew out. Kevin has one of the best acrylic technics that I've seen possibly EVER. He is particularly adept at apply the thinnest layer of acrylic possible, and that was huge for me. I get gel polish specifically because I don't like the thickness of the powder or the acrylic overlay. My nails will naturally grow pretty long, I only need a little help with some fortifying which is why I had been getting gel manicures. They weren't terribly busy, again it was a Sunday, and Kevin made the experience much more enjoyable than I would've liked to admit. I'm torn because I feel like I'm cheating on Mike (my go-to nail tech), but Kevin did such a great job it's hard to go back. Did I mention the wine???
