If I could give - 5 stars I would. What terrible service... I walked into an empty salon around 1:30pm on a Monday and was sat down for a gentleman to do my pedicure and another lady came and did my manicure at the pedicure chair. There was no need to rush... I could have had both services done properly but they decided to rush. I paid nearly $100 for a gel manicure/pedicure that looked like a toddler did it. There's paint all over my cuticles which we all know is going to lift up in just a day or two. Save yourself the headache and money. read more

Anna did my pedicure (with hot stone massage and paraffin) and did a great job. She also did a good job on my manicure. I see there are plenty of bad reviews here but my experience was a good one. Did it cost me $70 + tip for plain manicure and pedicure with the hot Stone massage, callous removal, and paraffin in? Sure but it was a Saturday afternoon and I was able to get last minute mani pedi around 2:30 pm. That can be challenging and the work Anna did was on point. read more

My brow wax was good. However, I came for nail dipping powder and brow wax. I chose not to do the nail dip after I waited after soaking nails off. They decided to give a customer who came in AFTER me, the next available tech for her pedicure. They asked me to wait more time!! My soak off was done and my nails were ready to be dipped. I expressed my dissatisfaction that the other customer came after me and I was there first. They didn't care to listen. My time and MY MONEY will not be disrespected. I paid for the wax and soak off. Pros: - friendly -April the wax lady took her time and was very comforting on my Cons/issue: I got an eyebrow and underarm wax on 2/14/20. When it was time to pay, they told me it was over 40 bucks! Now that sounded odd for a nail shop wax so I grabbed the menu to double check prior to paying. I was told that the brows were $12.00 (fair) and the underarm wax was going to be $32.00 and that's with a discount. Looking at the price list it CLEARLY states: Underarm: $15.00 After explaining that to the owner, who gave that price to April and also calling one of the gentlemen that did my pedicure once to transplants...we still didn't get far. The owner said for ONE underarm it's 15.00 but for BOTH underarms it's 30.00! What the heck!?! I can't make this make sense. She then points to the price for a Half Arm wax for $25.00. I tried my darkest to get her to understand those are two TOTALLY different services but...well we're here now. I went in for a manicure and the service was horrible. The place was not busy. When I arrived, I told the lady at the front desk I need a gel manicure. She didn't ask me if I wanted any special manicure or anything. She grabbed to color nail wheel and told me to pick a color. She then started on my nails. Mid way through a man came over and started painting my nails. He was not friendly at all. I noticed other patrons had been offered beverages but I was not. As he finials my nails he quickly rubbed some lotion on my hands and I was done. In and out in 20 minutes. The front area was very cluttered and cases of sodas were stacked along the front. By the time I made it home one of the gel nail layers chipped off my index finger. Two days later the nail polish has started chipping on all of my fingers. I took time to shape my own nails before walking into the salon, even though I understand that it is necessary to refine the shape after dipping the nails. However, there was nothing refined about the aggressive manner in which she destroyed the desired shape of my with a low grit, dirty nail file.In spite of my protest and explanation that I did not like square shape, she continued until I pulled my hand away. Worst pedicure experience by far. Lesson learned. never get a pedicure before closing, it will be rushed and you will be disappointed. The gentleman who did my toes was very kind and asked me if the filing was good along the way. But, I am not here to give you instruction on how to correctly do a pedicure, I am here to enjoy a service. I asked for hot water and was given luke warm... I also noticed that there was no salt or solution in the water, rather one slice of orange... interesting. After the literal 1 min soak (why bother he could of just wet my feet with a towel) I received a one minute scrub and a 1 min massage, you catch the trend here? My heels are not soft and smooth and it still looks like I need a pedicure. Moving on to the polish... I mentioned for the neon polish to be its true color it needs to have a white base. Which he did, but it was lumpy... The worst feeling after a pedicure is feeling like you could of done it better at home. I have been here once before and they did a horrible job on my nails(the lady apologized - charged me the full $55 for dip, nail extensions and ombré per their pricing but she offered to redo them the next day which I didn't have another hour to sit and get my nails done that week so I chalked it up to learning that isn't the place to go to get your nails done. Fast forward four months later, today I went in and the owner rang me up and charged me $65 for the same service! I told him hmm you raised your prices?! His response was "no, I'm the owner we never raised our prices" . I explained I had the same service before and it was $55, he said "no it wasn't" well then I looked at the pamphlet in the car are it sure is! I see that they charge what they want to who they want. I walked in and was "greeted" with a huff and a grunt. I told them I didn't have and appointment but was looking to get 'so and so' services. I got a pedicure and it was all right and I got my nails done with dip the color I wanted was 240 which was a light purple with glitter. Instead I got a dark plum color with bulky glitter pieces he didn't clean the shavings from the nail he was rushing the entire time and didn't even add cuticle oil or even clean my hands. I'm glad I didn't check in until after my service or I would have missed out. I was in this shopping center to get a massage and randomly decided to come in for a pedicure. The decor is bright and vibrant with lots of baby blue. The pedicure options include natural remedies like aloe Vera and lavender and I got the lavender pedicure. The lavender scented water and the long massage with hot stones were the best part. I liked the polish selection and the attention to detail with my cuticle clipping. My manicure, like the pedicure was very quickly done too. He didn't take the time to actually cut my nails down or file them PROPERLY. We went today as a treat from myself to my hubby. It was about 20 degrees out but I figured, what the heck! We didn't wait more than 15 mins and we were seated together. The water was warm but we did have to ask for it to warmed up a bit. I think she thought she was cooking neck bones because the water got so hot I thought it would start boiling. The jets didn't work so our feet literally soaked until the pedicures started. When the guy started my feet he wasn't the nicest but wasn't rude just kinda blunt I guess. He didn't cut me and did a good job overall and it didn't take forever. The lady who worked on my husband put him to sleep so it was safe to say, he enjoyed it. My full set was done quickly and neatly. She could have cleaned up around the acrylic a tad better but definitely didn't do a bad job, I will return. I feel like that are a tad over priced but I guess it works. ***** EDIT: since this review two nails are chipped bc they are as thin as paper and I noticed on my feet I was charged extra for callus removal, THAT IS A PART OF A PEDICURE. So, I've gone to this location on and off for years. I came here because the last few places I went didn't have a dip color I liked, so I thought I would try this location. Not only was the first impression very scattered and rushed, but my manicurist was awful. I told her what color I wanted, they didn't have it so I tried something similar, which I didn't mind at all. She started, and I let her know I want a rounded shape like an almond. I even showed her a picture, because I didn't know what exactly the shape was called. About 20 minutes in, and I'm starting to get a little worried because the shape is so strange. I ask her, "do you round them out a little later?" She said, "not done yet." Very short and abrasive. About 5 more minutes and she is starting to pack up the dremel. "Can you round then a little more?", I said. "They are round. This is round", she said, more annoyed than before. They were square with a rounded edge, and still very thick and lumpy. I let her know that's not what I thought round was, and apologized profusely. I asked her if she could go a little rounder, and she started getting so upset, asking me why I didn't tell her that from the beginning(remember the picture?), and she couldn't make them round anymore because she cut too much off. I let her know I didn't mind her cutting down the .5" fake nail, if she would just round them where my natural nail ended. I normally don't like them short, but I was willing to do whatever to help since,apparently, I wasn't clear enough. She ended up cutting them down, huffed the entire time, and then muttered "ugly. Ugly" under her breath, while telling me that isn't the shape she would have picked. At this point, it took all my will power not to get up, start crying and leave. If I wasn't with a friend, then this experience would have ended, and I wouldn't have wasted 50.00 getting a really awful experience. My friend drove up from Austin just to visit me on my first weekend after moving here. We searched a nail salon and found this place, it's down the street from where I live, super convenient. First impression: Super cute hawaiian themed with what is that?! A margarita machine and wines as you walk in?! Most amazing nail salon ever! We walked in and saw the crowd so I asked how long the wait was, luckily no wait! So she gave us both a pamphlet of all the services they offered, lots of stuff to choose from. I wasn't interested in the scrub/treatment/manicures they offered and knew I wanted acrylics. My usual cosmetologist in the bay area hates putting fake nails on my because mine were always good enough to just do the gel buuut the gel always made my nails so gloppy and lumpy. My manicurist was a guy and offered me a drink as I sat down, I got a water. My friend is pregnant and I didn't want to be drinking within the first few hours of our first trip out together. He asked me some questions (am I Vietnamese? They always ask that at nail salons so they can talk crap, ugh whatever, NO, I'm not Vietnamese). I get pretty shy so I didn't talk too much. He was able to mix the glitter perfectly with the white for the tips that I really wanted. And he only glued on one fake nail tip to a shorter nail of mine, so they're mostly real :-) After that was finished, he did a quick gel top coat to seal it and sent me on my way. It came out to $45 ($40 for the acrylics and $5 for the gel top coat), seemed pretty expensive but I wasn't about to argue about my first pamper-me outting. If they could get their prices figured out and comparable, I'd be back. We'll see though. I have quite the polish collection of my own so unless someone comes to visit me, I probably won't have a reason to come here. read more

Irving location: Overall I will give it a 4 because 95% of the time my experience is good. I also find someone good and stick with them and have learned not to just let the next available tech do my nails. My bad visits had my cuticles looking terrible or my polish looking messy. I think there's still 1 or 2 people that were bad that still work there. I always get them redone and ask for a discount on my next visit if they want me to return. So I will say that they will try to remedy. My great visits are with Tracy (Ben's wife). Both Ben and Tracy are really good. A long time ago Chi Chi did my nails and I was truly sad that she apparently went back to her home and didn't come back to the US. So anyway, be selective when you go. When you have someone that does a good job, get their name and stick with them. read more
