I asked for a walk in manicure, and let them know I had builder gel on and would like it again. They did not cut down my cuticle and the builder gel is VERY thick. Everyone in the place was nice, but when I asked why my cuticles weren't being done they said I had to ask for that in my manicure. I've come here 4 or 5 times now and I haven't had any problems. I've come with and without an appointment. My only problem is a little bit of a language barrier, but other than that, it's all good. They give you a glass of wine, water, coke, or whatever. Lots of polish colors to choose from. The VIP pedicure is awesome! So relaxing and not that expensive. It's highly recommended. First let me start by saying, if you've had a long day and you are looking for somewhere to go get your nails done Devine Nail is the place. During your service you are offered either mimosas, red or white wine, soft drinks, or water. Well of course for me, it was a long day so I surely ordered a mimosas (it's free by the way). Now to my nail tech Victor, he was amazing! Victor was my nail tech in both my pedicure and my ombré full set! He was very professional and took good care of my fragile nails. Been here twice now. $10 overpriced (more than other salons) on every item and the employees won't talk to you during the manicure- makes it a pretty awkward interaction. The lady told me a dip mani would be the same price as a normal mani and they charged me $55. I was pretty insistent I just wanted a gel French mani, but she took the powder out and just PUT the powder on my nails. I'm so happy I found this salon! I was completely pleased with my experience. I came around 10:15am on a Friday and was serviced almost immediately despite there being a lot of other customers. They had around 15 staff people working so they were able to accommodate everyone. The place was clean and had a nice quiet environment. Tara did my gel polish and really took her time to make sure everything was right. She even allowed me to test the color I chose to make sure I liked how it looked. I would highly recommend her and the salon in general. FYI gel polish (no manicure) is $25 and the USC student discount only applies to a mani/pedi combo. read more

I stopped in after work to get my nails done for my birthday. Bad idea! Anytime I get a vibe that I'm not welcome somewhere I usually leave no questions asked. This day in particular it was storming and I just wanted to go somewhere fairly close to my job. I had been here years ago and remember them doing a good job on my pink and white ombré set. I should have trusted my gut and just left. The young lady at the front was super sweet and welcoming this is not where the issues began unfortunately. She showed me to the seat I would be at and I waited for the nail tech to come over. When she did she proceeded to ask what I wanted and I told her a full set with a very thin white French tip. She started buffing my natural nails and in the process continued to become distracted and stopped frequently. Then all of a sudden she just gets up no explanation of what she's doing and WHY and proceeds to help another client. At this point I'm so confused so I don't even know how to address the situation. A good 5 (if not longer) minutes later someone else comes and begins to put my nail tips on. No explanation from either of them as to what's going on and why she began but didn't resume finishing my nails. This was unacceptable in my opinion! My nails came out ok....certainly not up to par with my expectations. I will not be returning and I defiantly don't recommend this place. I saw everyone else who was there being catered to fairly nicely which certainly made the bad taste in my mouth even more rancid. read more

I waiting until I had two experiences with Devine Nails to see if my good experience was consistent. It very much was. I didn't have to wait either time. They were very helpful, clean, and calming. They have many chairs and many people working so someone tends to you quickly. The first time I got a dip full set. It's pricey, but it lasted well and was gorgeous. I also got a pedicure. It felt amazing. I didn't get to experience the leg massage really because I had just gotten my legs waxed and I didn't want to inflame my skin. The second time I got the dip on my natural nails. This also looks fantastic and has held up well. I recommended this place to a few friends and their experience was similar. Going back to get dip polish again this weekend! read more

After all the stellar reviews, I was really expecting a great experience and what I received was lack luster at best. They seemed nice but the product didn't match up. My gel set was put on well, however the technician sanded them down too far and my nail beds are sore. Additionally, when I asked them to clean up my cuticles, I was told this wasn't included in a Gel Set. Who doesn't clean up the nail bed before putting on a new set?!? Thankfully he did clean them up, but didn't do a good job. My pedicure was horrid. My nails are too short, have multiple bumps and lots of clear polish on the tips of my toes. Lastly, everyone raves about the massage, and my technician did nothing like that and I still have lots of dead skin on the bottoms of my feet that I was hoping to get off. My experience would have warranted 2 stars but my friends experience takes this down to 1 star or less. She wanted a simple gel mani and we were scheduled for the same time. She was sat waiting for 20+ mins and then when she did get serviced they simple painted her nails. She paid for a manicure and they simply sloppily painted her nails. She had to rush out of there because she was going to be late for another appt or she would have complained. This is unacceptable and I will not be returning. I'm not a giant fan of Posh but I guess that's where I'll be returning unless I can find another nail place that will serve an excellent product. read more

I don't think he knew how to put polish on. My polish is very blotchy and it just does not look professionally done. Very disappointed that I can do a better job than this. My cuticles look worse now then when I came in. I also can't figure out why he put lotion on me after he painted my nails. I also had to tell him to put more paint on the side of my toes because he completely missed it. LA has definitely spoiled me and it's very difficult to find perfection. Came to this salon because the others nearby required an appointment. I got a gel manicure. The nail tech was so rough when removing my current gel polish, using the harsh nail file to remove the polish but also scraping my cuticles and surrounding skin. Then when trimming the "cuticles" she was cutting my surrounding skin on all of my nails???? She cut me with the clippers and I began bleeding and she said nothing. I will not be back. TLDR: Tara is a QUEEN. I will be back every time I'm visiting Columbia. I am originally from Columbia but currently live out of state in California and was home visiting family for Thanksgiving. I have a place I always go to back home in California, and it's the only salon I really trust for a flawless gel manicure. But ya'll, I was having some SERIOUS grow out and just couldn't abide the scraggly look for another second. Based on the glowing reviews, I decided to try Devine Nail Spa and simply walked in around 10:30/10:45 AM on a Monday morning. I was seated immediately with Tara, and she hooked me up big time! Not only was Tara a lovely and kind person with whom I truly enjoyed chatting but she really took her time making sure my cuticles were beautifully trimmed, nails were filed perfectly square (this is the main thing I am most picky about), and polish on POINT. Not sure if my standards are too high, but I wasn't pleased. Walked in and wasn't greeted. Stood at the empty register confused for an uncomfortable amount of time. When someone finally greeted me, they directed me to a pedicure chair. There I sat for another lengthy amount of time before someone came to turn it on. The person that did my pedicure seemed extremely inexperienced. The technique made me question if they were even licensed. I was glad it was over. When it was, I stood there without direction until finally someone asked if I wanted a manicure. I didn't, but my appointment was for a wax as well. That employee got up, leaving his current client, and saw me to the wax room. It was rude and uncomfortable feeling like he just ditched his current customer. The wax was quick and half ass. At the end, I'm pretty sure I was overcharged, the menu said $7 but my receipt said $12. Wasn't clean, wasn't sanitized, poor customer service. read more

The guy did my nails super well and he was extremely patient with me since I can be pretty picky sometimes. I've been going here for awhile and sometimes it's hit or miss but they usually do a good job or notice and correct it. However, today was the worst nail experience I've ever had. I asked for tips and they said they didn't recommend tips with natural nails and they would shape them. I told them I preferred tips as they usually last longer for me and feel better. They said no and continued to file my nails down. They now look like short nubs. Some of the nails are round and some are square with round edges and some are filed down at a diagonal. None of them match and they are also incredibly short when I asked for them to be longer than the natural nail. Upon leaving, there was so much clear polish and powder under my nails that it took forever to get out. There are atleast 7-9 layers of dip as the tech kept trying to fix his mistakes by continuing to dip over and over. All around this was not a great experience, they didn't take the time to listen to what I was asking for, and delivered a service that was not worth the time or money. read more

This was my first visit at this salon, and I was a little skeptical based on a couple of reviews, but decided to give it a try. I booked my appointment online and confirmed with a call earlier in the week. Walked in for my appointment this morning, and was greeted as if I was a walk in which was annoying. Proceeded with the pedicure which was absolutely amazing and exhilarating! A gentleman named Ma did it, def recommend him if your feet are sore. Proceeded with the manicure, and was prepared for a SNS dip manicure. First the technician proceeded with painting my nails without trimming or shaping my nails. I had to remind of her my service. Then she very aggressively attacked my cuticles to the point it was painful and bleeding. I've gotten my nails done for over a decade and never had this to happen. It's over 12 hours later and my cuticles are still stinging! Also, during my manicure at one point there were at least 4-5 people standing around me speaking in Vietnamese. Super annoying and took away from the relaxing experience. I was hoping the negative reviews were wrong, but unfortunately I don't think no will be returning. I came in at 11 am and waited 45 minutes just to be seated at a station. After being seated 15 more passed and no one came to perform the service. I understand It is Valentine's weekend and around noon but I don't think I should have been waiting that long. Outside of leaving after an hour without a manicure, the salon experience was nice. They were fully staffed and the staff seemed to interact well with their clients. I did enjoy seeing that the staff was diverse as well. The salon was very upscale and clean. This salon also offered beverages for clients, which I felt was a nice touch. I would recommend this salon but it would be hard for me to genuinely do so because I did not enjoy my experience today. I came here with two of my older children for pedicures on a Sunday. To be honest they were PACKED. I was surprised. We didn't wait long though and we were all seated together. Our pedicures were fine this time but not worth of the same 5 star review I have given previously. I like that it is close to my location. I like that they use tub liners. My pedicure had little bubbles in it and was left tacky. I didn't feel like waiting around to address this because the wait was still large on our way out. Like others the leg massage was not there at all this time or foot massage. For 3 basic pedicures I paid 82. Two of which were my children and they had less service than I did. Myself or daughters were not offered a drink this time and other customers were. That was a bit of a let down as well. However, I still say it was an okay experience overall. If you're looking for a place to spend money for a subpar nail job, then look no further. I was doing some research and decided to give these guys a try and I regret every minute of it. I got a pedicure and a manicure. I told the person doing my pedicure I wanted matte nails, he looked at me and smile and nodded his head so I asked someone else who said okay. At the end, I did not get matte nails and was told I needed to get gel in order to get a matte look because they don't have a matte top coat. Which should have been explained to me after me asking two different people and showing them photos of what I wanted. Not to mention, my toenails were cut so low that it hurt for them to file my nails. Thanks guys. Moving onto the manicure. I walked out with two cuts on my fingers, uneven length nails, some nails that didn't have paint on the side and overall the nails look like an amateur did them. I had to ask for corrections at least four times and I got to the point where I just wanted them done so I could leave. The facility was super nice and that's why I'm so surprised the service was horrible. To top it off, I paid for a gel manicure to get the matte look. Which ended up being a clear matte top coat placed over the polish. So much for not having a top coat.. but the worst part of it all, I paid for a manicure and didn't get it.
