This was my first time at Jolly Holly Bakery Cafe and exceeded my expectations. I saw everyone raving about the raspberry stuffed macaron. I liked it and didn't disappoint. I thought it would be too sweet but it wasn't. The outside was soft and inside fresh raspberry and cream was delicious.
This is one of my go to restaurants when at Disneyland. My favorite thing to get here is the Birria sandwich, which is to die for. Two more things to try here would be the grilled cheese and tomato soup, basic but delicious. And if you have a sweet tooth, I recommend getting the raspberry macaron - best of all, it's shaped like Mickey Mouse. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is outside surrounding the restaurant. Though there are a lot of tables, it can still be a challenge finding one because it's a popular place, for its great location right at Main Street[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Many tables have a view of the infamous Disney castle too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One suggestion would be to have someone in your party, save a table while the other picks up the order and with most Disney restaurants, it's also suggested to use the mobile app when ordering.
The Raspberry Rose Macaron will always be my go to when I go to Jolly Holiday. It's super cute AND tastes amazing! The raspberries really make it refreshing and yummy. The perfect treat! It's literally the only thing here that has been consistently delicious every single time I've ordered it. Would recommend if you want to treat yourself to a yummy and adorable snack.
I tried the beef birria toasted cheese at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe and it was bomb... or whatever the kids say these days. The portion was actually pretty big, which was a nice surprise for Disneyland food. The consome was super flavorful and the birria itself was on point. Everything just hit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is first come first serve, so it can get a little hectic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's loud and busy, that kind of vibe on the main strip.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely make sure to mobile order to save some time. Jolly Holiday is one of our favorite bakeries at Disney Resorts. They make great seasonal desserts and sandwiches. The mobile ordering was very efficient and the service good. We ordered: Jolly Holiday Combo - 4/5 The grilled cheese sandwich was very good. The cheese was nice and gooey, with the bread toasted perfectly for the right grilled cheese sandwich texture. The tomato soup was nice and warm, even when sitting out waiting for me to pick up the mobile order. A very nice soup and sandwich selection. Turkey on Ciabatta - 5/5 This sandwich selection was excellent. You get a bet fair amount of Turkey with lettuce and tomatoes, with a sandwich dressing that kicked up the flavor well with the turkey and ciabatta bread. The potato chips were excellent. They were thick cut, fried, and lightly salted to give an excellent crunch and taste. I will definitely reorder this sandwich in the near future. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe is a great eatery centrally located before you head out to the attractions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I strongly recommend you visit for a nice dessert, beverage, or a refreshing sandwich.
All I can say is come for yourself to taste the amazing choices at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. I was undecided on the Lemon Chiffon Tea or Cold Brew Toffee Nut. I asked can I try it and the lady said oh of course! I was so excited. It's delicious. The Beef Birria was so flavorful and juicy that I may just come back tomor. Wow! The line was extremely long, but trying to do an app over was over a 2hr wait.

Jolly Holiday is not my first choice, but they are somewhat fast, depending on the the season, park attendance and if the mobile order is backed up or not. Recently stopped in to order the birria grilled cheese sandwich and some sort of coffee flan. I think the birria grilled cheese is fine. I'm not craving it outside of the park, but it's a decent priced sandwich that's filling and tasty. The coffee tart or flan, I would skip that. The cafe also has a lot of desserts to choose from and coffee and hot chocolate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is outdoor and you have to hunt for an available table since it gets crowded, but I've been able to find a table after a few minutes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
Apparently I've been missing out. Over the years, it's always a struggle to find GOOD iced coffee at Disneyland. They are super hit or miss or just NON EXISTENT. Finally A GOOD ONE has arrived at this cafe!! The one and only Toffee Nut Cold Brew. Perfection. Amazing, great price and easily accessible!! They had other fantastic sandwiches and other pastries that I still have yet to try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Patio seating to enjoy the beautiful CA weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers here are lovely and always have a cheery smile/attitude! Must stop!! Been coming to Disneyland since I was a kid had the annual pass through my late teens and now have had it this year and just now discovering how awesome the Jolly Holiday is! * The food is stellar - raspberry Mickey macaroon is MUST (they do sell out by dinner time sometimes so heads up there!!) the Birria grilled cheese everything about it is perfection. * Lovely view of the end of mainstreet/the hub is a plus and recommend mobile ordering ahead for quick pick up! read more

Got Me My Pride Mickey Cookie! SO CUTE!!! lol That raspberry filling!! YUMMY!!!!! This spot has to be the-most popular for baked goods and some seasonal favorites. I always mobile order. the wait in line always exceed 20-30 minutes. I'd rather plan my pick-up and come back later. read more

A great spot for a quick snack, or light meal. A must is the Celebration Matterhorn Macaroon! Oh and they have the birthday Disney pins here too, so you don't have to wait in that long line at the entrance of park. read more

My friend had recommended their birria sandwich here so we made sure to stop by for lunch. Apparently it's a seasonal item. Very sad. While we were in line at pirates next door we placed our online order. We waited till our number was ready and picked up our food. Grabbed a seat outside. Glad we placed our order ahead of time because the live was crazy when we arrived. Turkey pot pie soup: 5/5 hearty, creamy and delicious! Roast beef sandwich: 4/5 pretty good! My family and I love the Jolly Holiday and we usually visit on our first day at Disneyland! This past trip was no different because we wanted to try some of their Holiday food items! We tried their Thanksmas Sandwich, Peppermint Tree Macaron, Peppermint Cold Brew and S'mores Cheesecake. Everything was really good - my favorites were the Thanksmas Sandwich and Peppermint Cold Brew. My daughter also loves their Jolly Holiday Combo which is a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup - we visited Jolly Holiday twice during this past visit because she wanted it for lunch 2 days in a row! They also sell the infamous Mickey Mouse Gingerbread Cookies which is only 1 of 2 locations in Disneyland that does. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are no tables inside, just the ordering counters and an area for the line. They have a ton of tables on their patio though and it's a great area to relax and people watch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is always friendly and helpful, but the line moves really slow when its super busy! They do offer mobile ordering on the Disneyland app, but its not really helpful on their busy days. Its faster to actually wait in line! Jolly Holiday is one of my favorite spots at Disney because they have the Beria grilled cheese. It comes with a cone on the side and it's absolutely generational. The Jolly Holiday café is always busy. They're always playing great Disney themes but depending on what time you go it can definitely be a little crowded. Now, the grilled cheese birria is again top two. It's top two things,I've eaten there. The consistency of the birria the juiciness and the extra added of flavor of the consume is to die for. This is number one go too things to eat at Disney highly recommended. It's always toasted to perfection crunchiness on both sides. Just tons and tons of flavor. read more
Jolly Holiday is a solid option for a meal in Disneyland. What we come here for are their selections of seasonal menu items. Just know that some are strong hits and they often have some items that can be misses as well. It's guaranteed, however, that they'll have some interesting sweets and savory items here. 1) Know that the macarons are usually solid. I got their seasonal macaron, which had assertive peppermint flavor. Added points for it being shaped like a Christmas Tree. 2) Got a holiday thanksgiving sandwich, which had turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce in sourdough bread. I enjoyed this sandwich; however, I do prefer the version at "Earl of Sandwich" a little more. What differed here is the sourdough bread, and the tart cranberries, which gave a tart tang that I didn't prefer; however, they did provide a brown gravy that I enjoyed. 3) We got a turkey pot pie soup here; however, I didn't really enjoy it. It was creamy; however, it had more veggies and cream and I was looking for more turkey and more crispy bits. 4) They offered a sticky toffee bundt cake this Holiday season with a toffee sauce and vanilla cream and this was a bonafide winner. If you see it on the menu, then you absolutely should get it. Overall, this is a shop where you should peruse the menu in advance of your trip to the Disney Park. Every season, they have unique offerings. Though not every item is going to be a hit, they have enough treats to make this place worth visiting! One of our favorite eateries at Disneyland is the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. So many delicious pastries, baked goods and food items to choose from. This visit we ordered the Roast Beef and Cheddar on a Hoagie Roll, Jolly Holiday Combo, Cafe Mocha and Iced Caramel Macchiato. The Roast Beef and Cheddae on a Hoagie Roll consists of tomato, lettuce, pickled red onion and whole-grain mustard a'oli, served with house-made chips. Jolly Holiday Combo is Toasted Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Basil Soup. Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe is also our go to for Cafe Mocha both iced and hot at Disneyland. read more

got the beef birria grilled cheese sandwiches from jolly holiday and our batch was extremely salty. the consumme was super salty as well. wished the cheese to meat ratio was even. there was a generous amount of birria which was great however because it was so salty, it was not that enjoyable. the cheese is barely there. if it wasn't as salty, then i think we'd enjoy it more. the cast members were nice in clearing tables as soon as tables needed clearing so shoutout to them! read more

I had to try the seasonal bugolgi sandwich with creamy corn soup. The mobile order wait time was too long so I got in the standby line. Luckily it wasn't too long a wait...maybe 20 minutes. The sandwich and soup came out quickly and we found a table outside to enjoy our meals. I liked my sandwich although it was a little too salty for my taste. I still ate all of it though. The soup was delicious. I loved the sweet and savory flavors of the creamy corn soup, with had some crunchy bits of croutons and corn. Definitely a great combo! read more
This is my favorite place to eat in Disneyland!! Seasonal sandwiches are always good. Grilled cheese sandwich is my favorite. I tried Boo-gogi Toasted Sandwich with Corn Cheese Soup and Caramel Apple Cheesecake. Sandwich has lots of meats. The sandwich was more delicious with dipping to the corn cheese soup. Caramel Apple Cheesecake was the best dessert I have ever had at Disneyland!! It was the perfect sweetness and balance with caramel and apple. I wish both foods I tried staying as regular menu. The cast member was very nice to me when I ordered Caramel Apple cheesecake. It was sold out when I was in the cashier. Then she called my name when she found it from the back room. I was about to pick up my foods and leave that area. I was so glad to be able to buy it. This restaurant opens after the park close. If the park closes 10pm, you can still order the food by 11pm. I don't eat here too often when I'm at Disneyland but i had to get the beef birria brisket sandwich. My absolutely favorite when they have it. I just wish you could customize it, my husband didn't want the cheese and they said they couldn't do that for him. Otherwise great visit. read more
Jolly Holiday Bakery does not disappoint especially during the Christmas season. I love that they change out their desserts seasonally. Today, I wanted to try the gingerbread Mickey. I was told to order online early as they sell out fast. I could not order online as I was over at DCA. To my surprise, when I finally made it over they had 8 Mickey Gingerbread left! The line was out the door but it moved quickly. I scored a gingerbread. It was soft on the inside. Perfect amount of ginger. The standout was the toffee bread! Wow! It was amazing. You can't visit Disneyland without stopping by Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe at the end of Main Street. It's the perfect spot to grab a bite while enjoying the view of the castle. I tried the Beef Birria Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing! The beef was perfectly toasted, and the flavor was rich and savory. It's a very hearty and satisfying meal, especially for park food. The Pairing: Dipping the toasted beef sandwich into the juicy sauce is easily one of the best food combinations in the entire park. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe has a charming Mary Poppins theme, and the outdoor patio is a great place to people-watch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even though the line can look long, it usually moves quite fast, and using mobile order makes it even more convenient. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a place to enjoy a Mickey-shaped macaron, this is a top-tier choice. One of the best places to grab food here at Disneyland! Whenever someone asks me for a recommendation, the beef birria toasted cheese is one of the first things that come to mind. The portion size is big, and the consomme that you dip the sandwich in is delicious. I always miss it when they rotate it out for the holidays. This sandwich is the hidden gem. You have never been to Jolly Holiday. We thought it was just candy and cookies venue. The service is fast even tho the lines are long starting at 10:30 when the sandwiches are available. This location has some of the best sweets at Disneyland! It's a quick service location that is in the far west end of Main street, U.S.A. It originally opened in January 2012, replacing the Plaza Pavilion and Disneyland's former passport center. The Jolly Holiday Bakery Café is themed from Mary Poppins. The interior décor has a lot of references to the movie! If you look for the stained glass windows, there are features of dancing penguins. You can also find a weather vane inspired by the film. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Most items are under $14.99. Right now, Disneyland is celebrating their 70th Anniversary and there are special items on the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café. The breakfast menu includes bacon & egg croissant, fruit, and yogurt. When we stopped by for lunch, we had to try out the Beef Birria Toasted Cheese. The Beef Birria had pepper jack, onion, cilantro and Salsa Verde on Sourdough! It was delicious with the Consomé! We also had to try out one of their cinnamon rolls! It was freshly baked topped with lots of Cream Cheese frosting! It was super scrumptious! Sometimes, we'll stop by the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café on our way out of the theme park. It's one of the few restaurant open late! We normally get a hot chocolate or something warm during the holidays. Magic Key Holder Discounts and Disney vacation club discounts are accepted here! Not bad! The bulgogi sandwich was actually very filling, even split between two people. The corn soup was tasty and nice to dip the sandwich in. Pumpkin latte was worth trying, but I think I like the toffee one more. The staff was very knowledgeable about allergies and my good came out very fast. One of my favorite meals at Disney! The birria toasted cheese comes with the perfectly paired consommé and was well portioned for the price. The sandwich is perfectly cheesy with plenty of tender birria. It is more on the saltier end so definitely bring some water read more

Around the afternoon we were getting hungry for lunch so it was decided to go to The Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. When we arrived, there was a line, but it was moving; not bad in my personal opinion. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once inside, I loved the decoration inside, nicely done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When it was my turn, I ordered: Turkey on Ciabatta, Peanut Butter Brownie Slice and kids Mac and Cheese. The Turkey on Ciabatta comes with: Tomato, Lettuce and Honey-Mustard Aïoli served with House-made Chips. Peanut Butter Brownie Slice comes with: Brownie Slice topped with Peanut Butter Mousse, Melted Peanut Butter and Chocolate. The sandwich was prepared fresh and the aioli had really good flavor. For the Peanut Butter Brownie Slice that was probably one of the best brownies I have ever had. Especially the Mousse and Melted Peanut butter combined; the texture in my personal opinion was creamy and just everything altogether made the dessert so enjoyable. In my personal opinion, I would recommend The Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, especially if you are on Main Street. The prices are reasonable and there is variety to choose from. Stopped in again to Jolly Holiday to check out the Christmas treats. Tried the White Mocha-Pepperment Tree Shaped Macaron. I was beginning to feel a little over all the peppermint treats but this one was absolutely amazing and hit the spot. It was super tasty and so cute! Been coming to this spot off and on when coming to Disneyland. On my recent visit I tried the Birria sandwich with garlic bread sticks. The Birria was super bland and tasted like crock pot meat. The bread sticks were bland as well. The portion size was pretty decent as well as the price. The lines are always pretty long so if you can order on the app, you are better off. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of outside seating, but since it's towards the beginning of the Disneyland and everyone stops to use the seating area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For dessert definitely try the macarons. read more

Would this be a good place to grab a breakfast item (cinn roll/muffin/etc) put it in a to-go container and eat it later (after we sprint for the first ride of course!)?
