The property is attached to a loud nightclub, and the noise and smoke travel throughout the building, including upper floors. Despite being advertised as smoke-free, the hallways smelled strongly of weed and cigarettes all night. The room itself was underwhelming. The TV did not work, the shower was poor, and overall maintenance felt neglected. This is not a quiet or family-friendly environment, and it is not suitable for anyone sensitive to smoke or noise. There are much better options nearby. I would strongly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn or Marriott a few minutes away instead.

So a little background on this hotel- it was actually in fact a radison Hotel, but switched names, and also kept some of the same staff. It is now Hotel No Ma. Located in the heart of New Rochelle, NY by the colleges, and by some local businesses to eat at. It is a cozy hotel and even has a restaurant called No Ma Social, where one can get happy hour drinks and food too! At check in, we also get a keychain where one can get a percentage off select menu items. This is also where breakfast is, and it is made to order! Liked that because- if one is in the mood for pancakes, and it is listed on the menu, you got it! Also has a seasonal pool, and fitness center. Easy parking as well, as the lot is big. Friendly staff at check in, and overall. room was ready to be checked in by the time we got there. Room had 2 beds, and a bathroom. Also was very clean and had lots of towels- and shampoo and conditioner too! Beds were comfy to sleep in. Loved the tv too, and watched the parade on it Thanksgiving morning. only con is the bathroom in the room is a little small, and a little hard to walk around in. Oh, and had to figure out how to turn on the shower- but luckily had my parents help on that one. Also, there was no bathroom fan- which-- well for me-- i find the bathroom fans obnoxious and loud, so for me it's good that it didn't have one- but for others who find it too hot after showering, or had to empty out- the fans can be useful. Anyways- overall clean room and was home for a few nights. Also had a fridge and great wifi! Also highly recommend food and drinks at No Ma Social at the lobby- where more pleasant staff was like the bartender Domique! Will write a separate review on that, but highly recommend! It was all tiresome until I found VIP CLUB. I met Tiffany H for a tour and she MADE me FEEL excited and cared for and made me feel actually good about having a big fat wedding. I met Tom later on with my mom to go over the timeline and details and he is fantastic. He KNOWS his stuff, and executed a seamless event where everything flowed perfectly and felt right. I asked for his guidance and opinion on everything, and that was the best move. Vinston was my maître d' and he was SO FUN, I felt so cared for, and my fiancé who is  very opinionated in the best sense, loved him. He felt grateful for such professionalism and efficient service. I felt grateful as a bride to feel so supported. Our attendant Daniella was our GIRL. She had my back and got me everything I needed. I felt so supported. Tom's well wishes during our cocktail hour was also so sweet. As for the party, I DIDN'T EXPECT TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!! My guests said: The food was amazing. Cocktail hour was amazing!! Venue was beautifullllll. The party was non stop!! For DJ/MC I used sound active.  Entertainment / performers  was incredible, for this I used BossaNova Entertainment. Beautiful flowers were by Westchester Floral, my guy Danny. My cousins and MIL said it was one of the MOST FUN weddings and best weddings they have been to- that was everything to me. It was worth every penny. Whatever type of wedding you want, whatever vibe or goal, they can make it happen, and your guest will enjoy it. When I got to my room I realized it was an accessible room which has a large shower that is the entire bathroom area. I called down and asked if I could get changed to a standard room. They sent someone up with new room keys and I moved to a new room - 826. Room was nice - obviously roomy. Couches here probably should be replaced as that was one thing I remember last stay. Had hot water this time - but I played hell with the hvac system. Using the thermostats it was like they had a mind of their own. Wasn't terrible just inconvenient. What I do find convenient and a nice touch is a 12pm checkout. Very helpful for my schedule on Sunday. This probably will be my last trip here due to work - which is sad. Enjoyed this trip a lot. He was also very understanding and accommodating with our family's cultural needs. The food was also amazing. He worked extensively with us to make the best menu possible for our guests. We were so impressed when we had our taste test it was almost hard to eliminate the options. Definitely go with the steak and fried onions! Also, the salmon with sweet potato was amazing and made me really like mashed sweet potatoes. One thing I was worried about was the smell of the fresh mulch outside during our visits but thankfully, that was not a problem during our actual wedding day! The venue came with my very own bridal attendant, Breanna who was very knowledgeable and learned how to bustle both of my dresses on her own without my asking, which i was very impressed with! I'm so grateful for her in making the day run so smoothly and someone to chill with when I had a moment to myself. Overall, the venue was amazing. The toppings include gravy, bacon, broccoli, cheddar, and other assorted items. There is a meat carving station that has pork and roast beef. There is also a pasta bar available that serves a tomato and a cream sauce with either penne, ravioli, or tortellini options with parmesan cheese. Chocolates are put at each seat as well for guests to take home. There is a DJ that plays music, a photo booth or red carpet of some kind, an auction that has items for sale including skin care, fashion items, gift baskets, restaurant, and spa certificates. The CLC is also given a spot in the room to showcase the artwork created by the organization's residents. The choir also comes to sing a couple of songs and the board of the CLC foundation will usually put a speech together to honor those who were major donors of the year. The food, prepped, cooked, plated, and served by staff in the kitchen have options such as steak, fish, chicken, or a vegetarian pasta. Dessert is a cake cut for party-goers and a platter of cookies/chocolate covered strawberries. I've enjoyed every party each year that was so graciously hosted by the CLC Foundation and the Green tree Country Club. The Green tree Country Club provides them with a beautiful, clean, and reliable venue. I am grateful to them every year because they host events so thoughtfully with style and class.

So, this one was a real doozy of a visit. The drinks were fair, with our order being a Goose Island…read moreIPA, Long Island iced tea, and a pomegranate martini. The service and food, on the other hand, were quite a mixed bag. We ordered a margherita pizza, pancake tacos, steak and eggs, and French toast with a side of sausage--the pizza, at least, was good. However, the "French toast" was more like an anemic panini press trying to pass as French toast. The steak and eggs comprised of a fairly well-cooked (that is, it was the right temperature) yet underseasoned steak of a relatively dubious cut, underseasoned home fries, and eggs done wrong (sunny side instead of over easy). The lattermost was the start of the problem, as I was willing to give it a shot, but found the texture off-putting. In light of this, I brought the problem to our server Adalia, who brought it to her manager Elvia. Thankfully I had someone else with me to tell me what happened: Elvia came over without addressing me on their error, silently took a look at my plate and instructed Adalia to have the kitchen put the eggs back on the fire. She takes my plate to extract the eggs, and brings them back (unsurprisingly) completely overdone, first in Elvia's hands, then in Adalia's for her to serve; we send for a refire, and they come back correct 7 minutes or so after I've already finished eating. Considering the hassle it took to get them, I couldn't trust it enough to eat, leading them to waste as well. After all was said and done, the GM Amer comes over to see how things were, and was thankfully helpful and understanding of our situation. Here's the rub: I was initially willing to overlook the steak, the home fries, and even the eggs if the error was properly ameliorated. Adalia and Amer both did very well, and I'm grateful for them for that; Elvia, on the other hand, managed to break the chain of competent customer service by directing the server to handle the problem in a way that was set up for failure (if you mess up an egg, it's an immediate refire because of how the egg cooks in the first place -- Amer also arrested to that policy) all without addressing us and taking accountability, due to negligence or whatever else. Not only that, but when sending the incorrect eggs over the second time, she couldn't even bring it to us herself--it would have been easy, seeing as she was the one that originally had them--and left Adalia and her tip to potentially take the fire if the patrons happen to be angry. Mistakes are fine--everyone makes them--but I'd describe this as cowardly more than anything else, and I take issue with that in particular from a leadership standpoint. While Amer graciously extended an invitation for a better experience next time, I can't say I'll be taking him up on the offer when their service and food are this misaligned; unfortunately, a disappointment overall.
