    Corned Beef Sandwich
    Heather C.

My friend and I came in on Friday night around 5 and it was busy at the bar but not the dining room. We were told to sit wherever we wanted. This was my first time and it was a cozy environment. The menu has everything you could think of for an Irish pub and I had heard about the wings so we decided to try them as an app. We ordered Magners ciders which were not on the menu. I had the corned beef sandwich which was perfectly cooked and the fries are fresh cut which I love. My friend had the french onion soup and spinach salad which she enjoyed. Our server was friendly and attentive. There were plenty of TVs to watch whatever sports are on. I would come back and work my way through the rest of the menu.

Service is ok .. The wings are by far the worse wings I ever had in my life .. beyond fried , dry .. ughsss simply horrible , I ordered a dozen and barely ate 2 . Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND :(

My boyfriend and I were visiting my cousin. This is my cousin's favorite place so we came here for dinner. Amazing from start to finish. Danny behind the bar took great care of us. Our drinks were never empty. I would blink, and before I knew it my drink was refilled. For a small appetizer we had beer battered onion rings. They were delicious! I had the Cajun salmon with a baked potato. The salmon was cooked and flavored perfectly! It also came with a carrot purée and sautéed spinach. Absolutely delicious! My cousin also had the salmon, but with mashed potatoes. He definitely enjoyed it! My boyfriend had the corned beef sandwich with fries. He said it was the best corned beef sandwich he's ever had. The fries were good too. House cut and seasoned well. Everything was great! Food, drinks, service, atmosphere, music...even the bathrooms! 5+ stars! My boyfriend and I agreed we wanted to come back!

I always walk right past this place it reminds me of the Blarney Stone bars they used to have. We used to go there after work downtown manhattan. It's clean people are friendly This sandwich is amazing. I'm only going to be able to eat half of it. It's a real Irish Restaurant I'm loving it. As my daughter's birthday is St. Patrick's Day 317 baby all the way.

Rory Dolan was very gracious and accommodating, rearranging tables to accommodate the group. We had a section in the upper dining area to ourselves. There's an extensive adult beverage menu, with of dozens of beers on tap and on ice, wines, and liquors. See photos. The food menu had the expected Irish fare; shepherds pie, salmon, corned beef, and cabbage, etc. There were some Italian inspired appetizers and mains, even Korean flavors. Everyone ordered whatever they wanted off the regular menu. Service was impeccable, the restaurant has an inviting ambience. I noticed there were a lot of "regulars" there this particular afternoon. It was easy for all of us to walk in and out and the waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable. It was restaurant week which we were in aware of so we were pleasantly surprised as we were able to have a three course meal for not a bad price at all. I had French onion soup to start and I was very happy with my choice as it was very flavorful and had a ton of onions which I love when they leave in all of them when they serve it. My friends had clam chowder and calamari. I had a few calamari and was very happy with how fresh and crispy it was. They gave a nice portion on all three. As for my main course I had a a very nice size steak sandwich that were absolutely delicious. It came with hand cut French fries. I couldn't believe how good it was. I'm usually extremely picky and the steak was so tender and it melted it my mouth. The fries were killer good as well. For desert, I had bread pudding and that was wonderful as well. It came in a cream sauce and I was very happy with what I picked. All in all, I loved my meal and the time spent with my friends that I hadn't seen in almost a year. We had laughs and a very nice conversation and they did not rush us at all. I will definitely be back for some amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere to soak it up with.

Plenty of dipping sauces and dressings were available. The food was incredible - the shepherds pie was especially amazing - everyone got up for seconds. I was excited because they seemed to have a unique preparation with dukka and chimichurri. The chimichurri was quite tasty. The bread was nice and hearty and the dressing on the side salad was pleasantly tangy. However, the avocado was not at all fresh. It was slightly brown and tasted like guacamole left in the fridge for a day or two. My husband got the chicken sandwich and was pleased with the taste, portion size, and accompanying fries. The service and food, on the other hand, were quite a mixed bag. We ordered a margherita pizza, pancake tacos, steak and eggs, and French toast with a side of sausage--the pizza, at least, was good. However, the "French toast" was more like an anemic panini press trying to pass as French toast. The steak and eggs comprised of a fairly well-cooked (that is, it was the right temperature) yet underseasoned steak of a relatively dubious cut, underseasoned home fries, and eggs done wrong (sunny side instead of over easy). The lattermost was the start of the problem, as I was willing to give it a shot, but found the texture off-putting. In light of this, I brought the problem to our server Adalia, who brought it to her manager Elvia. Thankfully I had someone else with me to tell me what happened: Elvia came over without addressing me on their error, silently took a look at my plate and instructed Adalia to have the kitchen put the eggs back on the fire. She takes my plate to extract the eggs, and brings them back (unsurprisingly) completely overdone, first in Elvia's hands, then in Adalia's for her to serve; we send for a refire, and they come back correct 7 minutes or so after I've already finished eating. Considering the hassle it took to get them, I couldn't trust it enough to eat, leading them to waste as well. After all was said and done, the GM Amer comes over to see how things were, and was thankfully helpful and understanding of our situation. Here's the rub: I was initially willing to overlook the steak, the home fries, and even the eggs if the error was properly ameliorated. Adalia and Amer both did very well, and I'm grateful for them for that; Elvia, on the other hand, managed to break the chain of competent customer service by directing the server to handle the problem in a way that was set up for failure (if you mess up an egg, it's an immediate refire because of how the egg cooks in the first place -- Amer also arrested to that policy) all without addressing us and taking accountability, due to negligence or whatever else. Not only that, but when sending the incorrect eggs over the second time, she couldn't even bring it to us herself--it would have been easy, seeing as she was the one that originally had them--and left Adalia and her tip to potentially take the fire if the patrons happen to be angry. Mistakes are fine--everyone makes them--but I'd describe this as cowardly more than anything else, and I take issue with that in particular from a leadership standpoint. While Amer graciously extended an invitation for a better experience next time, I can't say I'll be taking him up on the offer when their service and food are this misaligned; unfortunately, a disappointment overall.
